These boots are perfect for my Xmas trip to Sun Valley, Id., where it gets down to -20 at night. They are comfortable, and fit great using my orthotics (taking the foot bed out of the boot first). Great style, as well. I ordered 9.5, although I wear a 9, to allow for thicker socks.

These are okay, a solid B+ overall. I had been searching a long time...for something warm yet stylish. They are warm and comfortable but not the cutest things ever really.. and not as attractive as they appear on screen. They are WideE, very clunky and masculine-looking from the front. That little trim piece around the toe on the top is pretty evident in person and looks a bit odd as well. (I got the black ones.) The trim around the top is only about an inch thick and the shape dips down in back so you cannot fold these boots down to wear cuffed. I wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe, I normally like a 9 boot and that's what I got, but they are a tad roomy I think I would have preferred an 8.5 if they came in that size. I'd say they run true to your normal shoe size. I feel like I'll probably keep these for the price and we have snow here now I need something...but sadly I'm sure I'll be on the hunt again next year, as these are not going to satisfy my want for the perfect cute winter boot.

I love this boot! I was not sure what to expect but after the temperature dropped below freezing I was able to put these to use. I work outdoors and these are so comfortable, warm and very cute! (Bonus!) I used the size chart and measured with socks, ordered the 8's and threw in some arch supports after reading reviews stating they needed it. I have walked miles and stood for hours in the cold and my feet were the happiest part of me, comfy and warm!

These boots were more comfortable than I expected them to be. I ended up wearing them all day instead of trading them out for my shoes when indoors. And they looked cute besides. I'd buy them again!

Love this boot. Comfortable, uber warm (Chicago), winter weather resistant, comfortable low profile oh, and did I mention fuzzy-slipper comfortable? If you order 1/2 size larger than your regular boot size, then you can wear those super thick socks and have toasty toes as you trudge through the snow to the L, shovel snow off your driveway for 20min, or walk the slushy 1/2 mile to the ice creme shop where 3 people ask where I got my super cute boots...just sayin'. Oh yes, I normally wear Sorels and will now be buying Columbias if any of their other boots are as great as these.

These boots were wonderful: light weight, easy to put on and take off, lovely. Unfortunately, while the length was true to size, I decided I needed a wider width, which wasn't available in these boots. So, if you wear a true 8.5 B, they would be great.

These are the most comfortable boots and the best for cold weather walking. My feet are always cold especially when I have to walk my dog in the winter. These boots kept my feet warm and comfortable.

I wanted to try these out in a good winter storm before I wrote anything. It got to -14 here in Denver with a -32 windchill with a few inches of snow and a good layer of ice. These kept my feet very warm and dry. I got a half size bigger to give a little room for thick socks or hand warmers and it was perfect. And even with normal socks I did not feel they were too big. They are super easy to slip on and off as well. They fit snug and keep snow from coming in the top. They are stylish and very comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time. They have withstood the weather very well and I am super impressed. The grip on ice is pretty good but nothing stellar. My only complaint, when I wore them on the first day of the storm I slid all over the place on the ice. It was easily remedied by scuffing up the bottoms a bit on the sidewalk and now it's really no problem. I highly recommend these!

This boots are one the most comfortable boots I've ever had. They are great for walking on snow and rocky terrain. They kept my feet warm and comfy. I definitely recommend this boots!

They are very comfortable, and fit perfectly, the only thing is that there isn't much arch support so I'll have to get gel insoles.

I love these boots I got the dark grey color because that is all that they had in my size. I am an 11 but I ordered up a size got them in a 12. I am glad that I did as they fit great with room for thick socks.

Great boots. I live in the very cold north and wore these almost every day for about 4 months, after my other boots broke down. They are very warm; however I had to replace the laces 3 times. I did have to put my orthopedic supports under the removable foot bed, and that made them so I could walk around town in them all day. I typically walk 1 hour to work and remained warm and snug on my walk.

I am a 5.5 and the shoes fit me well. It's cute and perfect for winters. However, can't wear it with thick woollen socks when it snows. In that case a half size large would have served the purpose.

I am writing a review of this pair of snow boots in mid-October, so I am not fully qualified (yet) to comment on their performance. But for what it may be worth -- coming out of the box they appear nicely designed, tough, extraordinarily lightweight (given their anticipated performance as waterproof winter boots), and really cute as the dickens. If they end up leaking and drafty once the dreaded polar vortex returns to Chicagoland, I promise to return to this space and write something scathing. But for the time being, I would assume the best. And come on, it's Columbia Sportswear, I've never had an item from them perform poorly. Fit/comfort is fine, slightly large to accommodate big socks but not sloppy large; I'd be careful though if you need a lot of arch support.

This boot would probably be functional, except they are very heavy and clunky, not as flattering and form fitting as I thought they would be. I'm returning it!

Very happy with my purchase...looks better in person than the picture...normally wear a size 6 ordered a 6.5 in case and it worked out well.

They fit true to size; I ordered a half size larger to fit my thickest socks, and they are perfect. Have not had the chance to try them in the snow yet though, so no news on their waterproof-ness. They are, however, very light, toasty, and comfortable. I wore them around my apartment to test them out and I didn't want to take them off!

I normally wear size 10. Bought 10.5 just in case. Glad I did. Haven't had a chance to wear them yet since it's still warm. They are comfy from when I tried them on. And I purchased the grey ones and they are cute, picture doesn't do them justice.

I bought these boots for my daughter-in-law, who lives in Colorado. She loves them! She said they're very stylish & will come in really, really handy when the snow starts falling.
