These boots are great! They are very comfortable and look fashionable too. They lace up on me a lot tighter than they look in the photo and they make my feet look nice and small. They are warm and do not let the wet in.

THESE ARE NOT WATERPROOF. I'm a dog walker and spend hours on end walking through parks and city streets. I was looking for a boot that could hold up to getting snowy while outdoors then melt while indoors and snowy again etc. all day long. These don't do the job! My feet were wet on my first walk. Granted the snow was slushy but I think a true winter boot should hold up to slush too. Too bad! Sending back.

Wanted to share how comfy these boot are! I put them on the first day and didn't take them off for 5 hours. Very comfortable, I did decide to go a half a size up after reading some of the other reviews. Even though I don't wear thick socks with the boots, I just wear thin cotton socks I feel like they fit perfectly. Highly recommend them for cold weather and snow.

I returned these boots after trying them on. If I laced them snugly the top of the boot folded in on itself and made painful pressure points on the top of my foot. If I loosened the laces so that this didn't happen, my heel came out of the heel cup and into the shaft with each step. I have narrow feet and high arches, but I'm not sure if this was why.

I have those problem feet. Wide, flat, bunion, you name it :( I tried many boots on and these felt very warm. They have a nice toe box so my feet didn't feel confined and they are pretty cute too! The fact that they tie helps too. The only think you may want to consider is that if you want to wear a pant OVER the boot...then that may be an issue. However, I was going to wear leggings or ski pants, or skinny jeans to tuck in. Can't say anything about the waterproofing and how they will do in snow since haven't worn them yet.

The boots are warm and fit great! They're cute and no more clunky than regular snow or hiking boots. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5, and I got an 11 so I'd have room for thick socks. I've worn them in cold rain but no snow yet. I'm confident they'll keep my feet warm in a New England winter.

These are gorgeous boots! In fact, I love them so much, I ordered a pair for my mom for Christmas. She will love them too! They are very fashionable and keep my feet warm at high school football games in Pennsylvania.

Love these boots! I'm a size 12 and these were first winter boots I have tried that fit comfortably and with room to wear winter socks. Large enough space for your toes ?? I have the extra long second toe, and many times, that precludes me from shoes, boots, sandals from fitting correctly. I'm only returning because I live in SoCal and my needs are more for Apr s ski boots or for some snow conditions when I head to the mountains. These boots would have been great for trekking the cold/snowy winter campus I went to as a college student in Michigan, however, can't say how warm they would keep my feet - seem like they would do the job.

I wear size 7½ but after reading comments and reviews, I ordered these boots in size 8. They are super comfortable with thicker socks right out of the box! We have only had one snowfall so far this season in Chicago but they kept my feet warm and dry during a 30 minute walk with my dog. They are a very cute style with skinny jeans so I am really happy with this purchase.

Sizing recommendation up front: Suggest ordering up a 1/2 size for socks or a whole size if you want to add your own insoles or like thick socks. Arch support: be advised these don't have outstanding arch support. Order full size up if you need arch support or want to add inserts of your own. I hate thick, scratchy socks so I wear thin socks and ordered a 1/2 size up and still have comfortable wiggle room. I wanted boots that were warm and dry for rain and snow and didn't want anything too heavy or chunky. These fit the bill. We've had a wet and cold winter so far and these haven't let me down. Bonus: they are as cute as winter boots can ever be-I've received compliments every time I've worn them.

I have yet to test this on ice or in below freezing weather, but as described, it is warm and has good tread. It is quite comfortable and my favorite part is how stylish this is. Overall it appears to be a great snow boot that looks nice, keeps toes warm and dry, and gives me traction.

I have wide feet and a bunion on one foot, these shoes were still too narrow. They were also not has supportive as I would have hoped they would be. Quality looks great and they felt warm, just not right for my feet.

Rated -25F°? I bought these for a trip to Idaho for Thanksgiving and it was 16° when we went out Friday evening. My feet still felt like two blocks of ice! The boots are very cute and comfortable though. Back in Southern California the low temperatures have been in the 40's which is freezing for me and the boots do keep my feet warm here at home at least. I know that I am not used to the real cold but I would like to know whose feet tested these boots? Maybe someone from the Yukon? I am usually a 6½ in boots and that is what I got. I can also wear thick socks if I want and they are fine.

I have worn these boots daily since they arrived. I find them as comfortable and warm as slippers. However, like slippers, there is little arch support. We have not had any significantly bad weather since I got them so cannot attest to their waterproof status. I ordered a size 9, which is what I usually wear, and there is plenty of room for warm socks.

Comfortable, warm, so far have been waterproof. Was really happy they had them in 10.5, I have such a hard time finding shoes that fit well . Ready for the snow in Chicago in winter!

Outstanding boot! Buy, buy, buy. :) They're snug, warm, comfortable, easy on and off, great look. I get compliments all the time. I love, love, LOVE Columbia products!

Decent boot. I tried on 7 boots (Keen #1, this one #2). This was a bit bulkier than the Keen, plus the Keen had a zipper for easy on/off. Otherwise I probably would have purchased this one.

Now I have one reason to not be able to wait for the snow! Loved this boot, and look forward to trying it out in the elements. Even with the fuzzy interior, my size 12 boot fit perfectly. I will need to add a separate arch support inside, as there is very little, but overall a great boot. So glad I found this!

Stylish, warm and waterproof. Easy to slip on and off for a quick trip outside with the dogs. Kept my feet warm in the snow, and tread is great for walking on ice. Look great with my skinny jeans on dry autumn days.

Love these boots! Sat through a football game that was FREEZING and my feet were the only part of me that stayed warm. Comfortable! Little bit slippery.

I am very happy with these boots! I normally wear a size 8 but ordered an 8 1/2 for thick sock and I have a very wide foot, these are a perfect fit and very warm!

I am very pleased with the boots. They are well made, comfortable and lightweight. I chose lace up boots for a more custom fit. After reading other comments I also ordered a half size up and am glad that I did so. They are roomy enough for heavier socks, but still fit comfortably with regular socks. This was my first Zappos order and everything went smoothly and I received my order in a matter of days. I would recommend these boots.

These boots are lovely. So comfortable and warm. It's like I could tromp over Alaska in these.

I am so pleased with these boots! I like to try footwear on before I purchase but it is difficult to find snow boots in Texas. I took the advice of the reviewers and ordered a half size larger than my normal size and these boots are perfect! They are extremely comfortable and very easy to take on and off. They are cute looking and will be perfect for our winter trip to Wyoming.

Zappos sent me (in record time!) six pairs of boots that I thought might work for me. Four of them had soles so rigid that my heels lifted up when I walked. The fifth had laces that stopped about two inches below the tops of the boots. Fortunately, the Ice Maiden boots by Columbia fit perfectly and I had none of the issues that I experienced with the other boots. I am SO delighted that Zappos will take back the five pairs of boots that didn't work out!!
