Love these - they are easy to get on, super comfortable and light weight. They have a good tread and look great. Sized up 1/2 a size and they fit well with normal weight socks with enough room for thicker socks. I normally wear an 8 in boots and sneakers - the 8 1/2 in these is perfect.

Not very insulated. OK for most weather but I wanted them for winter hiking in Wisconsin. They did not fit the bill. For casual walking around town and occasional sledding or other outdoor adventures they would be fine. A nice looking boot at a good price. Light weight. I just need something that can handle rough use in all sorts of winter weather.

As soon as I put these boots on, I couldn't wait to take them off. They run short and narrow, have absolutely no arch support, and the foot part is stiff. Kudos to Zappos for fast shipping and free, no questions asked returns!

I have a pair of Columbia boots that are 3 years old - blue and not as high-top - I LOVE them. So when I got ready for a pair of black ones this year, I stuck with Columbia brand - they did not disappoint. They fit great and will go well with my jeans and black leggings - can't wait for the weather to get cold so I can wear them often!

These are surprisingly comfortable! I live in Hawaii, but I’m traveling to Sapporo for the winter, so this is my first pair of snow-friendly boots. I’ve owned other boots, such as hiking ones and doc martens, and the first thing I was impressed by was the ease of putting on the boot! Both with a standard mid-calf sock and thicker, fluffy sock, there was no struggle with getting my foot snugly into place. The laces tighten nicely, and stay put with me running around my apartment. The bottom is rugged and sturdy, but not hard, so it’s comfortable to walk on. I splashed some water on it too, and it appears to be water resistant. The boot gets warm FAST, but I also live in 80 degree weather, so take that with a grain of salt. There’s only a little bit of arch support, but nothing an insole can’t fix. Overall, I’m very satisfied that my search is over, and that I’ll have nice boots to test in the winter!

Super cute boots, but I had to return them due to the snug fit in the toe box. I may still buy up a size to see if they would work. I am a hard to fit person as I have very wide feet and need a lot of support.

These boots are great quality, especially for the price. They are so comfortable and warm with ample traction for my Montana winters. They are also very light, not clunky like a lot of other snow boots. They ran true to size for me. I have a pretty narrow foot and wear an 8. The 8 fits me perfectly with any thickness of sock. The only thing I am not crazy about is the color. I ordered the grey, and I was hoping for a nice charcoal grey, but these have a pretty good green tint to them. In certain light they actually look more green than grey. I wish I had gotten the black, but I'm not too bummed, because i only plan to wear them for dog walking, snow shoveling, running errands, etc.

Bought for these for my wife who loves the style, fit, comfort, and warmth. Seems true to size (despite ordering them a half size larger since she prefers to wear two socks).

Attractive versatile styled boot, eg: could wear to work. However, too tight across the ball of my foot. There is no arch support and no real padding under the bottom of the foot. It pinches my little toe even without a sock.

I’ve been looking at these boots for a couple years now, but decided to buy them this year when it started to snow here early in October! I think they’re really comfortable, stylish & fits true to size. I prefer bungee closures to laces, but at this price was willing to go with the laces.

I found these boots to run a little on the large size if wearing tights but since I wanted to wear thick wool socks, they were perfect for me! With the lacing, you might be ok with tights, but I'm opting for warmth of thick socks! That being said, the fuzzy lining means I can slip them on to run to the mailbox and still stay warm. Real plus!

These boots are great and a really good value. I was looking for new winter books to replace a pair of Sorels I'd had for years that were falling apart at the seems (literally). I was dreading spending $200 or more on a pair of boots and happened to find this pair in my search. All the high reviews were promising and I can say that in person I definitely love them. They are a LITTLE bit on the clunky/chunky side, but still feel like they're stylish enough that I will happily wear them if I'm doing anything that involves being outside in the Minnesota winter for an extended period of time. I love the color combination on the Elk/Red Velvet variation that I purchased. These feel really warm and like they're definitely going to be good for snow and avoiding wet feet. I ordered my usualy size (a 7.5) based on true to size reviews and kind of wish I'd gotten a 7. To me they feel a little too large, but only minorly so. I'm sure that would be resolved by wearing one-two pairs of thick socks with them.

I love these boots by columbia. This is the second pair I have bought. The first pair lasted me many years. The brown color is darker than appears in the picture.

These boots were a big fail for me as they were not waterproof at all.

It's rare to see an item have a unanimous 5 star rating. These boots truly are super comfortable and work well for wide calves. Unfortunately one of the boots came with a manufacturers defect but Zappos quickly remedied that and are sending me out a new pair. I got the Elk color and they are really nice.

I did order up a half size and the fit was perfect, good quality on the boot materials.

Fit like shoes. If you are planning on wearing thick socks size up. I chose to keep mine as I plan on using them as go to work commuter boots and will be wearing tights.

I can’t wait to wear them. Beyond being warm their very stylish.

I like the boot just would like a size 9 instead.

I love these, but they are NOT water proof. Water resistant, yes. They are pretty much brand new, and I wore them today. I walked around in some wet grass for a couple of hours. It wasn’t raining, and I didn’t walk through any puddles. When I got home and took them off, the tops of my socks were wet. In my opinion, this does not constitute water PROOF. Water proof means I can walk through puddles and come out with dry socks. Other than that, I love them and they are super warm!

Love love love these in red. Even cuter than expected. I wear 9.5 or 10 and went for 10 in these, no problems at all. Soft on inside and waterproof indeed! Good for mushy muddy late fall walks and I am guessing there is a good winter ahead. Columbia is hitting it out of the park for my particular foot/calves: thick calves, weak ankle from injury, previous torn Achilles, slightly narrow foot. Third pair of Columbia shoes in three years and they all hold up fabulously.

This boot did feel a tad large, but with thick socks would be fine. Very cute but I could not get over how stiff and hard the sole was. ZERO arch support. I even placed a padded insole from another shoe inside to see if that would do the trick. Nope. Still hard and uncomfortable. Had high hopes this boot would be my go to winter shoe for rain and snow. Going back asap.
