I wanted to like these but right off the bat, I realized that there's no continuous gusset under the laces to keep snow and ice out. My right foot has a slight bunion and the boot is definitely too narrow for me even though it's supposed to be a wide boot. Didn't even bother with the left foot. Oh well, back they go!

I’m not in great shape, I’ll admit that. I have a sedentary job and I don’t get to work out like I’d like to. My feet are a point of contention always. My right foot is especially bad, and long walks are torture. So I bought these hoping for comfort but not expecting a whole lot. I was wrong. I walked over 5 miles with my 24lb baby strapped to my back on vacation and my shoulders are sore, my back is a little worse for the wear, but my feet? I could have gone 10 more miles in these boots! I want them in a regular shoe now for everyday wear! I didn’t even have to wear them in, they were perfect right off the bat. I highly recommend these!

Very nice but not wide enough and I did order and receive the C width. And I was surprised at no arch support. But they are very attractive and appeared they would be waterproof.

Good looking boot! Excellent support and comfort. I took reviews and ordered 1/2 size up. It is way to big even with thick socks. Excellent warmth and kept my feet dry. Good traction even in ice. Be careful to walk slow as ice can be dangerous no matter what footwear you have on. I will buy a 10 as 10.5 is to big.

Sadly, these are being returned. Even with thin socks, these boots were entirely too tight across the foot.

I got these boots because I wanted a boot without a pronounced heel for greater stability when I'm hauling wood ground or doing other chores over over uneven. As a 70+ person with arthritis and Raynaud's Syndrome, stability is important to me. These boots provide that that. But unlike my Bean boots of the same size (6.5 W), the toe box is less roomy. And because it is restricted by a hard, waterproof end-piece, I doubt it will stretch much with wear. That means that if I wear these boots with the same heavy socks I sometimes wear with my Bean boots when it gets really cold, my toes get squished. This really hurts. But then again, the Columbia boots didn't cost as much, they are comfortable with thinner socks, and they do have that less pronounced heel.

I wanted to like these and tried several sizes to find a comfortable fit but it didn't work out. They are very stiff, especially around the ankle and didn't give at all making it very uncomfortable. Because they were so stiff they weren't very good for walking and felt heavy. Probably would work fine for a younger person who didn't break their ankle last year.

We tried a similar pair but they were slip on boots and they were too hard for my 10 year old daughter to get on her feet. So I got these with laces. They work great. They are so cute and warm.

Felt good except runs half size too small. Nice looking and comfortable.

Absolutely LOVE them. This is the first pair of boots that have kept my feet warm, even in 6” deep snow on trails and through deeper drifts. They grip pretty well on icy sidewalks and are surprisingly lightweight. I went up half a size from my normal size 10 and they feel just right with athletic socks. I initially went for lower cut boots but I’m very pleased with how easy these are to get on and off. They are plenty comfy, but the insoles pop out easily if you want to replace them with orthotic inserts. The faux fur cuff is cute with leggings and bootcut pants fit easily outside them. If they came in larger sizes I think my husband might buy a pair because I brag about them so much!

They are so cute out of the box but they have no arch support and run small. I typically wear a 7, so I sized up to a 7.5 and my toes were hitting the end of the boot. I wanted something stylish to walk the dog in and while these look nice, they won’t be good for walking without inserts. Returning for sure.

While I wish I could love this boot, I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I wore them outside on a day when there was a first snow on the ground & about 30 degrees & my feet were cold! These might be fine in city environments, but I could tell after being outside with these boots for a few hours that they would not be sufficient in the weather & conditions I’ll need them for. If your outside for less than 30 minutes they might be okay but they certainly won’t keep a foot warm. I’ll keep them but now looking for a boot better suited to the conditions I’ll endure. I rate them as okay for city folk but for a true outdoors experience lasting for more than running to your car or getting to the office, look elsewhere.

Feel ready for the cold and snow predicted now. The fit is true to size, but if you want to wear a thick sock underneath it might be tight. They are insulated enough so I doubt I'd need one and more comfortable not to add one. Going up also poses the problem of tripping with the boot too long. Like the gray and faint lavender colors!

Size 7, a little too large, but I remedied it with arch inserts and heavier socks. I can't say these are my favorite boots, the fabric feels kind of stiff and the boot feels a bit clunky. But I am keeping them, they look nice enough, and I like the higher profile for CO snows. Good tread on the soles for ice.

This is my second review as I'd neglected to mention that I'm a 6.5 - 7 and I ordered a 6.5 and exchanged for a 7. The 6.5 didn't leave enough room to really wiggle my toes OR wear comfortably with a thicker sock. So, the 7 worked. AND I LOVE these boots, did a lot of research, wanted a good warm comfortable non-slip pair for walking my dog in the Minnesota winter weather. These fit the bill 100%. Don't hesitate to get these.

These don't quite seem the same quality as some other Columbia products I own, but I am thrilled that they are wide enough to accommodate my giant calves. They are also warm, which is important for Wyoming winters. I haven't test the waterproof quality yet so I will update after our next snow storm. Not great arch support, but the wide size is sufficient for my inserts. They are also light! I think it was a good value and am happy with my purchase.

Though I really like the warmth of Columbia overall and the style of the boot it did not fit me well. While wearing a thin sock, the length was a tad shorter and it was tight across the widest part of my foot. I normally wear a medium width in a 7 1/2 and I think if I were to go up a 1/2 size the length would be too long and not sure if the width would give me enough room across the top of the boot. Sending these back.

I liked the materials and they are incredibly light weight. However, the toe box on the size wide was too narrow, narrower than most regular size 8.

Spent time researching to find warm (I live in Minneapolis) comfortable dog walking boots. These won. I originally ordered Sorel Joan of Arc’s and like a lot of reviewers found them too heavy for my liking and REALLY difficult to even put on. I actually gave up trying and put back in the box. Looks were not important to me, but the Ice Maiden is cute. I ordered the black with grey camo.

I bought these because of the high rating by others, but I found these boots to have little to no arch support. They run at least a half size small. However they're warm enough to keep the cold at bay. I need to purchase arch supports to make them comfortable.

bought a pair last winter for my daughter. I have worn and loved hers. Decided to acquire my own pair, half size smaller. They are perfect. I look forward to winter walks with warm feet.
