Great looking boot. It is incredibly roomy with plenty of room in the toe area. They are comfortable to walk in and do not rub against the heel, ankle, etc. I’m not sure how these are waterproof as the fabric seems as though it could allow water to penetrate. Guess I shall see this week during our first snowfall. They definitely do not keep feet warm. Perhaps it is because there is so much room in the boot but they definitely do not keep my feet warm.

It Is true to size , very warm and cozy. Love the material and quality . They’re not that heavy easy to walk on them.

I almost kept this boot - but decided to keep the Propet Peri boot instead. This boot was really comfortable - maybe not quite as wide as the Propet. For the price, though, I may buy this boot again someday...

Hi, I wear a 8 wide and have a very high in-step (high arch). It's impossible to buy shoes and not have my feet hurt. In sneakers and boots I buy a 8.5 wide. I orig bought the Propet Ingrid in a 8 1/2 wide, but my big toe almost touched the tip of the boot and it was HARD, not give and to walk, you would have to march, so I Returned them and wanted to re-order a 9, but not available. I switched snow boots and bought the Columbia in a 9 wide. They fit good, comfy. I would say a tiny bit too long for me, but I am keeping them, they don't cause a problem walking or tripping, and right now, I do feel a tiny bit of slipping in the heal, so will walk around at home, before I make a decision. I am a fluffy chick with wide calves. These are not tall, so I can wear them. They are really cute! Look good on.

I wear a women's 10.5 wide and I need some arch support. It is very difficult to find shoes that fit. Every shoe maker has different lengths and widths to go with their version of a size 10.5 shoe. It is disappointing that Zappos and the shoe manufacturers cannot come up with standardized sizing that reflects width and length the way that some blue jeans makers do. For example if you asked my husband what size pants he wears he would say, "I have a 33" waist and a 34" inseam". Why can't we have shoe sizes that are 28 centimeters long by 11 centimeters wide (at the ball of the foot)? That being said, I ordered women's and men's boots from Columbia, Baffin, Sorrel, Kamik, Propet and Pajar. Here are my thoughts: -Men's Columbia boots are better made then Women's Columbia boots, they have better lining/padding, better arch support and sturdier materials. The women's are more attractive. Both Men's and Women's Columbia boots in medium width are too narrow for me. The Women's wide were wider then the medium but not wide enough. The men's wide were wider but not by much. The Bugaboot III Wide is on my short list of desired boots, but I need one size up and they are currently out of stock. It was a little stiff but had good warmth/lining and good arch support. -Baffin boots were dreamy comfy. Amazing lining; soft and warm. Sturdy exterior, not too heavy. Sadly, these boots run almost 2 sizes smaller then the average boot. So, if you are looking at trying the Baffin I would recommend sizing up at least 1.5 sizes up. -Sorel boots have some good features, but not all Sorels are made equal. I ordered both the Caribou Wool and the 1964 Pac Nylon. The Caribou Wool was by far more comfortable and warm. Please note they also seem to run small, consider sizing up. I ordered the D width and found them on the narrow side. I am exchanging for a size up and hoping to gain a little more wiggle room in the width. Fingers crossed. -Propet women's boots were cute and I appreciated the width that they offered. If you have wide feet and width is your biggest concern I would recommend giving these a try. I did find them lacking in arch support and lining for warmth. But a thumbs up for style. -Kamik men's boot were interesting but also did not find the arch support I was looking for. -Pajar boot - I ordered at men's 42, they were too small but I liked their potential so I am exchanging for size 43. I really wanted to try the 44 but for some reason in both styles they were out of 44. Finger crossed for the 43 to fit. I hope that overview helped. I really appreciate the comments that other people write. It helps me figure out whether or not to give a shoe/boot a try. Thanks to everyone out there that takes a minute to write feedback. I wanted one new pair of boots, but these were a bit dressier than the sportier pair that I bought, so I kept them too! I worried that they may look slightly matronly, but no - very simple and attractive.

Shoes fit perfectly. My only complaint is that they could be a little more cushioned in the foot bed.

These boots are true to size for me and fit very comfortably. Laces cinch easily. They keep my feet just warm enough, so my feet don't get cold or become overheated when I work up a fast paced walk or when I wear them all day. The sole is a good thickness, allowing some flex, not at all clunky or cumbersome. They are fairly light, waterproof, leather in all the right places, and I love how they look. I expect them to be my constant companions for the next few months and I'm thrilled with the arrangement.

Not a fan of the way Columbia fits my foot. Feel like they are too roomy. I have a slightly narrower foot than some.

Comfortable out of the box. I live in Cleveland OH and we had a 2ft snow storm. After 3 hrs of shoveling my feet were still dry and warm. No blisters or breaking in period. The gray is beautiful. Great looking boots.

I do not write a lot of reviews, but I had to write for this pair of snow boots. I have several issues in my foot (heel pain, neuroma in toe area etc) so I can wear only shoes that are really comfortable, and I have to wear Orthotics in all the shoes I wear. But this one is an exception. It is stylish, has a lot of space in toe box, Heels are high enough to give some lift to shoes and hence your heels (the support that I find only in Mephisto sandals). So this is an excellent pair of shoes for me in all aspects of comfort. I have spent hours in snow and they keep my feet warm and dry. A great price too. I just slip my feet in without opening the laces every time I wear the shoes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is my 3rd pair of Ice Maiden in a different color. Fits like a dream and very comfortable .Also keeps my feet warm on cold days. My all time favorite boots to for cold weather! Thank you Zappos for shipping it early.

Fit and size is great. Got my usual size (10W) and there's room for thick socks. The dark raspberry color is actually gray.

I normally wear an 11 and got these in a 12 to accommodate thick socks and orthotics. (I'm a severe overpronator, so I use orthotics with all my shoes.) So far so good! They're adorable -- even in a giant size -- and they feel good on my feet. I'll post an update after I've worn them for a few weeks.

It was between these and the Columbia Shorty. Due to narrow feet, I preferred that I could tighten up the laces better then the shorty style, which gives it more of a snug fit, and not shlepping around in a winter boot. I'm an 8/8.5 in shoes, and the 8.5 fit just right for winter socks.

It does not support my arch as I had hoped but they keep my feet warm!

these are comfy, warm, and the footbed is easily removable! I was able to put my orthotic in no problem. Kept me warm and dry in 6+ inches of snow, unexpected cool thing is the snow / ice doesn’t stick to them at all. So easy to kick the snow off before going inside. They also tie pretty tight so they don’t have to be as wide on the legs as they look. Definitely recommend!!

I had high hopes for these after reading the reviews and then first trying them on, but they haven't lived up to my expectations. They aren't nearly as warm as I hoped and my feet get tired pretty quickly while walking around in them. In 30 degree Fahrenheit weather, my toes were cold within 30-60 minutes (and it will eventually get a lot colder where I live). I was also hoping I would be able to wear them on long walks in the winter, but the bottoms of my feet get tired within about an hour. I'm not sure if it's a lack of support, or if there's just not enough cushioning for me, but I'm disappointed that I'll end up having to buy another pair to suit my needs.

Felt good at first fit. I bought them for a mountain vacation, but they are comfy for walking around the grocery store, too. Great little boots, comfy and toasty.

One of the rare items that comes 10.5 W to fit my orthotics. Style is ok - it’s more about having a boot for winter that fits.

I love these boots. I wear a 5.5 wide and they were tight. I returned them and order the size 6 wide. I can’t wait for them to get here. The style is current and there are several color choices.
