I've had a Timbuk2 satchel bag for over a decade now and decided to buy another as a custom bag. I love it, the redesigned interior is great, the colors are vibrant and well made. Cannot wait to take it with me on my next trip.

This is my third Timbuk2 bag--only because I needed different sizes for a variety of uses--my original bag is over 25 years old and still in great shape. After many failed attempts to find just the right camera bag, I decided to create my own starting with my favorite Timbuk2 messenger bag. I customized the interior of this bag with modular padded camera bag inserts to accommodate a full frame DSLR and two lenses as well as my water bottle and other personal items. I love the durability and comfort of the Timbuk2 bags and the upgrades to the strap adjuster and ability to personalize the internal pockets are fantastic "new" features.

I am a serial offender. It is the 3rd bag I purchased. I used the previous 2 each for 10 years plus (daily). The current version builds on the proven design and evolved in several details. I like the labtop sleeve. The grab handle is at times not very comfortable when riding on the bike with the bag on the back

I had a similar Timbuk2 bag that I got in the mid 2000s. That bag took a beating and when it finally gave up the ghost I tried something else, but it was never quite as good. So far I'm very happy with my new bag, plenty of room for my needs, good organization inside, looks great outside. I'd already ordered it when I saw the NYT review naming it one of their top messenger bag picks. I can see why.

Configurable messenger bag replaced a prior Timbuk2 bag that I had for >10 years. While I miss the back pocket on the older bag for easy access to files or other small items while in transit, this one is definitely more water resistant and chic. Very spacious inside and better padded chamber for a laptop. Still plenty of inside space and zip-pockets for pens, card and other important small items. Is my go-to buddy whether by bike, bus or boat (car too)!

This was a great gift for a college student. Waterproof and hold everything they need for the day. They love the look and quality!

Great bag for work! I get a lot of compliments on it. Customized to match my scrubs and hospital colors! Easy to handle, plenty of room for all stuff.

I got my first Timbuk 2 messenger bag in the early 90s working for a legal messenger company and have never been without one since. It's not too big for daily use and I love all the inside pockets. It has a clean look that makes it appropriate for business travel. As a carry-on, it just fits under the seat in front even when fully stuffed. I just replaced my last bag because of peeling on the inside liner, but that was after 12 years of near daily use. Everything else was in fantastic shape and I gave it a final journey send off earlier this year on a trip to Mauritania (not far from the actual Timbuktu) where it performed admirably. I'm looking forward to breaking in my new bag as it looks as sturdy and attractive as my last.

The bag I've been waiting my adult life for! LOL! I got the laptop pocket, real nice that it is padded and has a velcro strap to keep it in place in case your open bag tips over or falls off a counter. Went with the water bottle pocket too; simple thing, could be overlooked, but is definitely worth it- this way your bottle stays in place when you're moving and grooving out there. I keep a 15" macbook air in mine. Along with a handful of notebooks, usually a paperback of poetry, a canvas bag for electronic cords and chargers, and some snacks and could still fit a rolled up jacket, an umbrella, and a pair of shoes.

Strong, durable, water resistant, and sleek. I use it essentially as a briefcase for work and church. It holds all I need and more. The adjustable strap is a big improvement from the model I had back in high school. I loved that bag so much that I came back to buy this one.

I bought this bag because I needed something small and durable for a busy year ahead: weekly use carrying my discs for disc golf, a trip mid-summer to walk endlessly around Washington DC, and all the way to Dublin in the fall for an Irish wedding! Custom bags are great because I can freely choose the color of the panels. It's truly my very own messenger bag.

I use this to carry a 12.9" iPad, guitar stand, and other music equipment plus a water bottle. Everything fits and is well organized. I like that I can easily sling it on my shoulder to carry it and wear a guitar backpack at the same time.

This is my forth Timbuk2 Messenger bag in almost 30 years. My previous Timbuk2's did a fine job of keeping up with me and my active lifestyle. Each one lived up to its expectation of being a hearty universal catch-all bag. I went with all black again because it oozes a professional, somewhat scholarly yet classically refined bohemian look. I bought this bag for my partner for his birthday and he loves it! He loves how I customized it to suit his style and work lifestyle.

Rugged construction. Lots of spaces to separate and store your gear and cargo. Time tested design and quality. Stylish and useful. People will say "Hey, cool bag!" or "Sweet bag!" to you. That's pretty cool. Unless you're like really introverted, I guess. In that case, heads-up.

This bag is so well put together. It really blew me away. It also has a good water bottle holder as well as the lap top holder is nice and helps keep things in place.
