This bag is amazing! I personally use it for university. In Melbourne everyone has a Crumpler but having a Timbuk2 you can really stand out due to it being customisable. It was pretty fast considering they had to customise the bag. The strap is literally car seatbelt materials so it's comfortable and luxurious. The strap adjustment buckles are also made out of metal. So many pockets which make the bag very versatile. I got the extra computer pocket which I put my iPad and Mac M2 Air in. I could've gone with the small size but with the medium if I ever upgrade to the Pro the space is always there. I typically pack lunch, A5 water bottle, Davek NY portable umbrella, XM5s, AirPod Pros and a book to read. I've also jammed with 4 days worth of clothes once as well. So many versatile products and key chain at the front. No problems with this bag at all. However, further customisation such as magnetic attachments instead of Velcro similar to the peak designs back pack would be a great option. Perfect high school carry all and travel bag. We sized up from an earlier Timbuk2 messenger that we loved, but needed more space. The customizable option is a big, stylish bonus!

I have been nomadic since I was ten. If I cannot fit it in my bag, then I must not need it. I practically live out of my bag and the Timbuk2 bag has become synonymist with my outfits over the years, that a few times friends of mine have approached strangers believing it was Me! Because the have never seen anyone else flex the bag.

This is my 2nd messenger bag. I bought my 1st 15+ years ago when I started software consulting. I have been all over the world and it died.. the plastic on the in side was cracked and worn, the stitches had popped along the bottom and it was filthy I tried washing by hand helped but it was a gonner. It was time to treat myself to a new one which I am using on a 4,000 mile road trip across the states. I LOVE THIS BAG!!! Laptop, cables, rain gear, water bottle, food, pens, etc and my stuffed bunny traveling companion; it all fits.

Couldn't be more pleased. The quality is amazing. The color scheme picked, was spot on. Appreciated having a choice. I wish the water bottle holder was on the out side, but it is what it is. Great college book bag.

This will be my carry on bag flying from Toronto to Sydney, Australia. Fits my iPad, a couple of books, crossword puzzles, pens, wallet, passport, etc. but not too huge. I like the reflective black fabric.

I have been using my messenger bag for 2 weeks now and loving it. Plenty of room for a large MacBook Pro, documents and change of gym clothes. the customized option gave me the bag I wanted. At this time I have no complaints.

Love the extra small messenger bag. Perfect as a daily carry bag. I carry a book, my iPad mini, my travelers notebook, phone and wallet. I got the custom version and was very happy with my color choices - it's completely unique and very well made.

Plenty of space for my laptop, books and drinks. Bonus for kids (not so much me) it also holds all the random items they insist to bring and don't wish to carry later!

This bag was a birthday purchase for my 12 year old son. It fits great and the colors are awesome. Well made and looks like it will last for many years. I supposed the only feedback is that the straps are pretty long, so we may need to cut them/sear the ends so they don't get caught in the bike parts. All in all, we are very pleased with this bag!

Well made. Right sized for me, a civil servant needing to carry my lunch, book, and folders full of crosswords to the Pentagon everyday. Colors on the web are true to life.

Used as my purse everyday tried to switch to another always came back to small messenger bag besides wallet can fit my knitting, books, water bottle, snacks and other supplies for the day's adventures. The inside flap lining is starting to fray. Maybe I just want a new one for colors too

This is a comfortable and stylish (mine is custom) shoulder bag/messenger bag. It looks great, feels great, and is just right for a small but not minimal EDC carry all. Notebooks, books, pens, sun glasses, gloves, whatever for going around town or on shorter trips. The material is eco ripstop and feels soft to the touch, almost like a natural fiber. Sweet little (small) bag.

Great messenger does it all. Customized with colors I love! Good for work, play, beach, vacation. Material lasts forever. Fits everything you need. Get a Medium or Large. The small is just too small.

I previously owned a convertible Timbuk2 backpack/shoulder bag, which I used as my main everyday work bag and principal travel carryon for going on 20 years. Virtually no signs of wear or tear, until this June, on my way home from an overseas trip, one compartment zipper gave out. Without much hesitation I turned to Timbuk2 for a replacement - their current large model shoulder bag, with a laptop insert. It's lighter, roomier, and better designed for organizing gear and basic travel items than my original, but by all appearances, just as meticulously constructed and rugged. While still convenient, the overflap design is much improved for pickpocket-proof security. The updated fabric has a softer hand, and feels more comfortable against my body. Velcro closures are very high-grade, just grippy enough to lash down the flap in a hurry, not too grippy to be a pain to undo. Looking forward to another next 20 years. (And thinking I still might be able to get that zipper replaced on my original!)

I purchased my first Timbuk2 over 20 years ago and it is still in use regularly. My husband was in the market for a new bag, so I directed him to Timbuk2. When we received it, it is as well made as the originals and the fabric is as sturdy. I am excited to get another 20 years on both bags. Also, as a custom made, there is always a little uncertainty when selecting colors. The colors look exactly as they appeared on the computer.
