I returned this bag because the grab handle was not centered. When you try to carry the bag with the grab handle, the bags falls forward making it uncomfortable to carry.

There is so much Velcro in this bag, it not only shredded my sweater, but it trashes the knitting projects I intended to carry in it. I have a 15+ year old bag from your company I still use. The first thing I did on that bag was remove all the Velcro-no problem. I wanted a larger bag. This one is NOT the same style. For one, the strap is much thinner, so the bag itself is very floppy. The colors on line did not match the color of the bag delivered. Since it was a special order, it can't be returned. I'm going to take it in to our local shoe repair. I will have all the Velcro removed and re sewn , so that I can use it for my intended purpose. So not happy people.

I use this bag for school books and lunch bento. Bags not as sturdy as the med. laptop bags and not enough compartments for pens/pencils. I forgot to order the shoulder strap wrap and took the one off my old one for it, wasn't going to re-order. The color was dissapointing, it didn't look the same as the design page to me so I'm not happy with the colors. All and all I'm dissapointed in this order unfortunately.Sorry...

Husband just got my the custom messenger I designed as a Christmas gift, but showed me early because he was worried I wouldn't like what I asked for - and he was right. Colors are ABSOLUTELY NOT what was advertised: Cordura Jewel isn't a light blue, it's actually like a forest green. Totally unsatisfactory :( I have a Timbuk2 that I love that I got around 10 years ago, and was expecting the same quality, but was disappointed there too. Strap is this flimsy material, nowhere near as sturdy as the previous bag. And where did the customization options for tails vs tabs go? I don't need straps under my bag! I don't want those! Can we go back to the solid, no fuss custom bag of the past! My husband is completely devastated that he spend the Christmas budget on this non-returnable gift for me, and it's not AT ALL the color or quality we've come to expect from Timbuk2. I don't think I'll be using the bag.

This is my 5th Timkuk2 bag. I really love all my other bags - but not this! The quality is poor (smaller/slimmer strap, less/missing compartments) and the colors/style is not matching the ones on the internet site during customization. I am really disappointed! :o(((

Does not measure up to the standard of my previous bag from another manufacture. Bag is not secure and shifts when loaded up with my gear as I attempt my urban cycling commute. Lacks waist belt. Does not have divider to seperate items, e.g. wet or dirty shoes from other gear. I cannot recommend this bag for the serious cyclist.

Where have all the pockets gone? I'm going back to my old version of classic mess. bag

During years I have bought three customized messenger bags. On this my third one I noticed that some minor things have been improved since the previous model (my previous messenger bag is now two years old) But to my great disappointment I discovered that some things are also much impoverished. For example, the cross strap is smaller, weaker and not that easy detachable as the previous version. The hook on the strap has been replaced by Velcro that is cheap and clumsy to handle. However, what bothers me the most is the sets of pockets. My previous model has several pockets on the inside of the bag, one pocket with a flap. It has a large pocket with a zipper and inside the large pocket are several other smaller, neat pockets. In my first messenger bag some of these smaller neat pockets even had zippers. There were also a dedicated smartphone pocket with quilted inside. These where the days! In addition I now find that also the number of zipper-pockets on the outside of the bag have been reduced from four to two! The lack of these sophisticated pockets makes me consider this new model as moderate and budget and is not associated with the quality and well thought through design and details that to me used to be associated with bags from Timbuk2. This version of the messenger bag is now in class with "normal" off the shelf messenger bags and that makes me very disappointed. I hope you can improve in the future.
