I use the product as hangout messenger bag, the things that great about is I can put my sweater and minor things in the bag without carrying it around. easy to access, it hard for theft reach their hand in the bag while travel on bus or train.

Adorable bag--fits everything I need for day to day, great quality, this is my third Timbuk2 bag--& I love them all equally ;)

I got the medium custom messenger bag and have been very pleased with this purchase. Judging from quality of the material and the craftsmanship I know this bag will last me for several years. It has plenty of pockets and room for all my stuff: Several books, laptop, iPad, kindle, pens, pencils, stylus, water bottle, moleskin, pocket change, snacks, etc. I try to keep what I bring on a daily basis to a minimum to reduce weight, but when I need a lot of stuff this bag does the job perfectly, with room to spare. I recommend this product hIghly!

I fell in love with a colleague's Classic Messenger Bag so I had to get one for myself! It is extremely well made and in colors and materials I love. It is not a cheap bag in any sense of the word and worth every penny. I would love to see additional external pockets, maybe for sunglasses or smartphones. Absolutely love the hidden zippered slash pocket under the flap. The Velcro and buckles secure things wonderfully, so easy access external storage would be great for frequently used items. Great Product!

I've used this bag every single day I've gotten it, both riding my bike to work and while just going out for the day. It is the perfect size for everything that I need to carry and is extremely well made. I'm in love with my bag and can't wait to use it more and more for many years to come.

Let me start by saying I got the medium, so many reviews don't mention the size. Done My first custom was size small and although I am not a large woman I found it a tad bit too small. Must be all the large books I read and my extra tall water bottle. Anyway, I bought 2 medium bags on the cheap after and realized that was the perfect size for me. I had a 2013 and a 2014. I like things about both, but in the end the side water bottle pockets in the 2014 won my heart (ps I don't use them for water bottle). But I longed for the custom lining. My old custom had the purple with polka dots and I loved it. This time I went for the gray chevron. So gorgeous. TDF. So I use my bag as my life bag. It goes every where with me. I have a small crossbody bag that I toss in as my purse, if I need to run into a store or for going out to dinner, etc. In my bag almost daily I carry my purse, water bottle, book, papers (got to have the divider), sun block, utensils (for eating at work), coupon book, pouch with essentials, small flash light, pens and a small notebook. I often also carry food and my camera. What I love about the medium is, when I go to work it is big enough to toss a jacket in, my lunch or whatever I need. I don't need 2 bags. But when I have less stuff the bag still looks great. Since I am often just carrying from the car to home or work, I usually just toss it over one shoulder. So happy with my purchase. I purchased my Timbuk2 - a large Classic Messenger - from Zappos in 2007. It's still in great shape, despite lots of use on and off the bike. Often enough it's served as a briefcase, and it's traveled countless miles with me on bikes and in cars and planes.

I was a messenger in the early 90's and have always had strong opinions about messenger bags. I've been carrying one that a friend made for 26 years. He was trying to compete with Timbuk2, he made a great bag but clearly went out of business early on. I always had a bias against Timbuk2 for this. The bias is over the bags are great, there are some things I miss about my old bag but my new one Is a keeper. Maybe I will carry it for 20 years. My favorite thing about these bags are that they are made in the USA and when you call with a question you speak with a company employee at Tumbuk2. Cheers 2 you!

I use this bag for travel and day trips...A well made bag that had that broke-in feel to it right from the start...This is my 3rd Timbuk2 messenger in 15 years...Sadly my first one died due a work related accident...(I always have 2; 1 for work, and 1 for play)...My "play" one became my new work one...So, I ordered a custom...BEST BAG FOR FOR THE MONEY!!!

My Wich - one zippered pocket for passport. 2 "wider bag - because I wear my I-mac Air in the bag. Strap Length would be 4" long. (I am 167 cm tall)

I bought this bag in advance of a "second honeymoon" trip. I was in charge of documents, spouse did electronics. I had iPad mini, iPhone, both passports, tickets, etc., etc. However, when we got to our all-inclusive resort I did switch over to a much smaller bag (read: extra pocket stuff.)

I love this bag!! I got it for myself as a gift for getting into Grad School. I love how it is roomy and allows me to pack so much. The only thing I wish it had was, a strap that doesn't dig into my shoulder. I know they have that strap cushion but I wish I didn't have to pay sooo much extra for it.

The bag I created is extra small and perfect for my petite size. The fabrics look awesome together; the black and white geometric and heather gray. I use the bag daily with my iPad safely stowed in the back section. It's large enough for a Starbucks recyclable cup! You have to work at getting the cup in the mesh but it fits. I'm very happy with my bag and would purchase another. It's stylish and not expensive compared to other women's bags.

I finally replaced my 8 year old bag (which I used daily) with this beauty. The colors turned out rich and vibrant. They are very comfortable bags to use. I don't find my strap pad slides too much but my husband did so we just used a small piece of shelf liner between the pad ( pads are additional but totally worth the few bucks I personally have a pride rainbow one from my old bag I love) and the strap. The recycle program is environmentally friendly as well as a good deal in getting a new bag. They also donated my old bag for me to a youth .

I had an old Timbuk2 messenger bag that I use for going to the pool, on trips, etc. Needed something that would be comfortable for walking/biking to work, so I got this. The purple is different but corporate work-appropriate. The newer water bottle pockets are awesome. Miss some of the inside pockets from before so I have some smaller bags for headphones, extra keys, cords, and the like. The laptop pocket is a great addition--keeps files and laptop upright. The pad for the shoulder strap makes a huge difference. Only complaint is that strap lengthens too easily--all of a sudden I'm walking with the bag below my hip!
