This bag is honestly the best bag I have ever had there is tons of room for everything I need. Plus it is actually comfortable. I live in Seattle so it is super important that my computer bag be super water proof and it is! I love the that there is so many pockets so everything has its place in my bag. All around the best bag I have bought!

I use for work.

This bag is so close to perfect it's scary. I am reviewing here the small size bag. The good: Fits my 13 inch macbook pro perfectly. In addition, fits all the other goodies a nyc commuter needs, incl, ipad mini, samsung s5 phone, extra phone charge, mac charger, umbrella, hand sanitzer, hand lotion, paper work, advil, and even the occasional lunch. Looks great Water repellant exterior. My stuff stays dry. Pockets in just the right places (love the outside sideways pocket. great for phone!). The not so good: shoulder strap is a bit shorter than Id like. Its still a good length, I just prefer longer. Still a 5 star bag.

Need more school or sport colors pattern to mix and match.

I brought my first Timbuk2 bag four years ago and have used it everyday, until last month when it finally bit the dust. They are so practical and I love that you can customise them to match your entire wardrobe! I'm not a girly girl and the design is perfect for work, my photography and even hiking trips. Can only recommend!

I use the bag as my every-day, schlepping around bag. I'm a SAHM living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and my toddler is still in diapers. I got this bag because I'm expecting a second child early next year and needed a bag big enough to hold 2 kids worth of stuff. I can't honestly speak to the durability of the bag because I JUST got it a few weeks ago, but I am very pleased with it. I'm especially excited about the adjustable strap, and how easy and comfortable the bag is to get on-and-off and carry - even when jam packed full of extra layers, snacks and water bottles. I like how easy it is to wipe clean both inside and outside (this bag has already been "bathed" in coffee and you can't even tell!). My only criticism is that the internal mesh pockets for water bottles/coffee mugs are a bit small and do not easily fit my water bottle or coffee mug. I suggest that you put the approximate dimensions of the mesh pockets on the ordering site.

I love the style of the bag. It is the best messenger bag. It is worth the money. I recommend getting the medium. I cannot ask for more. It is also water resistant. I love this bag.

I ended up making my GF and custom bag for work, since she's an RN she has to carry around all her gear back and forth from work. The large bag is a perfect size, and the fabric and color was spot on. She was absolutely thrilled when it came in, with that being said I chose expedited shipping the bag got here sooooo quickly!! Within a few days!

This bag was intended for use on the bicycle. We find ourself using it for the gym, as carry on, as office bag, beach bag, motorcycle bag. I love the colors, they are true to what was shown on the site. Can't think of anything that's not so great, except that its like a tatoo: when you have one, you want another. I'm sad I can't attach an image, the bag has been borrowed AGAIN.

My husband finally made a gift-giving occasion easy for me and told me he wanted me to design a Timbuk2 messenger bag for him. I agonized over getting the design right and actually made an order than I then canceled before realizing that I could print out a few designs for him to review and approve. He gave me the go-ahead and the bag came to us very quickly for something that was fully customized. He LOVES it. He actually brags about it and teases me about my inferior messenger bag. It's very well designed so it lies flat against you when the strap is adjusted properly. It is spacious but light. The pockets are useful. The color choices I was able to customize to just his style. He takes it to work daily, has taken it on the plane, and even reported it was easy to wear while biking (and he's not a regular cyclist by any definition). One word of caution, if you make and "save" a bunch of designs, check very carefully to make sure the version you order is the right one with all the right features. I had intended to get the water bottle internal straps and accidentally left them off the order, but of course that was my mistake. Basically it's the best present I've ever given him, hands down. I might have to sabotage one of my own bags so I have a good reason to get one of my own.

I use this bag as a purse. I currently live in South Africa and have to look over my shoulder and be aware of my surroundings at all time. This bag, worn crosswise, is perfect. There is no way that someone will steal something out of my bag with all the various closure techniques. I stick my iPhone right in the front pouch under the flap and it's not going anywhere, yet I can still hear it ring. This is the second bag like this I have owned and even if I weren't living in a remote place, I would use it happily to hold all my things. The fact that my iPad fits perfectly is the ultimate bonus.

Great to take into the office, with or without laptop inside, roomy and comfortable, lightweight and so stylish and unique! Lovey materials also, I have just bought a smaller one, with a camera insert, as I think it is great for day trips! I love it... The only thing I would change is I would like a quick access pocket for my keys, not to have to open the Velcro every time... The back of it would be ideal... Very good for cycling or for school.... Would definitely buy one again and again!!

Fantastic bag, definitely worth your money. I used to chew through bags every 3-4 month's due to such heavy usage, and when I heard about Timbuk2, I knew I had to give them a try. This bag has lasted me 2+ years, one of college and the other culinary school, and it's no worse for wear. I'm now using it for going back to college, and I'm hoping for a successful year 3. I'm gonna get a new one eventually, but for now, it's the best darn backpack I've had.

I wanted a bag that could carry the essentials: laptop, tablet, mouse/chargers, papers, glasses, contact lens solution, bottle of water. All without being too heavy or too bulky. This bag is the perfect size with the best strap for long walks to work or through an airport. It has quickly become my new favorite.

I love this bag! I had admired them for years, but never treated myself ...until now. My only complaint is that I wish it had one more zipper pocket inside.

We owe a great debt to bike messengers to allow other guys a way to carry all our stuff around without an actual purse. I replaced my first Timbuk2 messenger bag after 16 years. The new pockets are a great addition. I added the optional laptop holder and it is fantastic. I regret forgetting to add the optional strap pad and will ask to have it added if and when I send it back for a repair using the lifetime warranty. I recommend Timbuk2 to EVERYONE. Thank you!!!!

I got a XS (Extra Small) messenger bag with the color Jewel and Sliver, that is my personal travel messenger bag, so I carry my sweater or shopping items.

I purchased this because I have been wanting a new computer bag, but also a bag that would hold everything I needed when I travel. It's extremely roomy and, in fact, I couldn't fill it! I took it on the airplane and it fit perfectly under the seat. When I created the custom bag online I new the colors would be vibrant, but seeing them in person is much more impressive. This is a great bag for travel and for every day use.
