Timbuk2 continue to deliver high quality products. I have been using Timbuk2 bags and backpacks for over 15 years and have not been disappointed ever. The bag as such is almost too large for my day-to-day belongings for commuting, but will work well for overnight trips replacing a carry-on suitcase. For commuting only, I would probably go a size smaller. The laptop sleeve easily fits my 15" laptop and my iPad. Useful to protect against the other stuff in the bag.

I love this bag!!! Lots of compartments to put stuff. Super cute I get tons of complements only drawback I have is I got the small and it's seems like a good size much bigger would be bulky on me as I am smaller side, but if you put in a good amount of stuff it doesn't close well. Overall I am a happy camper.

Best bag i have owned by far! the large is HUGE! the red crimson Pops! the red is so vibrant. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. its super comfortable too!, and with the added cross strap its perfect for bike commuting. The strap is easily adjusted with only one hand to suit your comfort preferences. I personally think this messenger bag is more comfortable than a Chrome bag. Don't get me wrong, Chrome bags match Timbuk2 in quality, and durability, but when it comes to comfort the Timbuk2 takes the cake in this department. definitely recommend this if your a bike commuter or not.

I use my bag to carry all of my dog training stuff to clients' homes. It is roomy and helps me stay organized. I was able to choose colors that match my business branding. The only thing I would change is the placement of the handle. It should be moved a bit more forward so that the bag is balanced when you lift it up by the handle (which I do frequently).

More complicated to adjust strap compared to my old messenger bag, one size smaller

This bag is a great replacement for my laptop backpack. Living in Florida, a backpack leaves your back drenched in sweat after a few minutes. A messenger is much cooler, temperature and style wise! I find that everything is also much easier to access than with a backpack. The build quality is top notch, and keeps Americans employed. The bag is heavy, in keeping with the durable materials and overall quality, but that is really the only downside.

Ordered a customized small classic messenger. Great bag for commuting and airport travel. I use it for my iPad, second phone, keys, sunglasses. My 13" MacBook Pro will also fit. Very roomy with out being big and bulky. Also, when set down the bag remains upright, rather than having to be leaned against something. Love that I could customize colors and features.

After spending too much time and entirely too much money on several other ready-made Timbuk2 Messengers, including the new Classic version, I was going to give up on the brand entirely. The new strap buckle and I do not get along: it cannot be worn on the right shoulder ( a necessity for me) and it has a habit of unbuckling on a whim, usually at the worst possible time. However,when the President's Day sale offered a deep discount on the Custom Classic, I decided to give the line one more chance. Several weeks later, I am so very, very glad I did! The Custom version of the Classic Messenger is a completely different bag. For one thing, the stitching is much nicer, and corners and folds are turned much nicer, than in any of my other ready-made T2s. The result is a much more tailored product; my Custom messenger really does feel and look bespoke. The fabric has a great feel and appears to be holding up fine, with much less piling than I have experienced with previous bags. Since I was able to specify a strap that can be worn on the right shoulder, this bag actually works for me. And the buckle, while still my least favorite detail in any of Timbuk2's products, is not unclasping itself as it did on my other Classic Messengers. I recommend the Custom version to anyone who likes the idea of the Timbuk2 Classic Messenger, but who has been frustrated with their actual use of the bag on account of the awkward buckle or sloppy construction of the ready-made version. Definitely a five star purchase for me.

I would like to have a clear window inside to put an ID Card in it. I use it for my iPad.

I mainly use it as my mid-week commuter so I'm not carrying a larger bag with hardly anything in it to and from work. I also recently used it as my carry-on for a flight. I like how it was customized to exactly how I designed it on the website.

Have always loved your products and have never been more satisfied with my custom messenger bag!

I knew this was going to be well made, which was why I bought it, but I was still pleasantly surprised by how well it was put together. The workmanship was really above and beyond. I got mine so that the strap hits my right shoulder, because I have had problems with my left collar bone dislocating. It's literally the only messenger bag I've had in over a decade that is comfortable. The one handed cinch on the strap makes it dead easy to latch down. What I hadn't expected is the way the bag is designed, as it hangs, it hugs my body. It doesn't swing around, or flap when I run to catch a bus.

Great for lugging around al my electronics

I have had several timbuk2 bags before and let me tell you they are the first brand i go to whenever i am looking to buy a new bag. The quality of their products is simply outstanding. This was the first bad i ordered customized and to be honest i really enjoy since I have more of a personal love for this new bag than for my older bags. Im an avid cyclist and for me nothing beats the comfort or convenience of these bags. The new updated strap resizing mechanism felt less superior to the old design but after some days of use it has really started to grow on me. To wrap this up, I use this bag everyday and feel weird walking around without it. It is now an extension of myself and I am happy to say that I am a proud Timbuk2 supporter.

The only thing that was annoying was the extra time in customs

I had a messenger bag xs for many years and had to replace it by a new one, because it was worn out on the inside. I used it almost daily and traveled a lot with it and I wanted a timbuk2 again. I decided to customize my bag and order it directly. There are so many fabrics and colors, I tried many combinations before I ordered it. It's a very useful possibility on the homepage to see previously how the bag will look like. Only the compartments on the inside where a little bit too small to store cellphone, ipod and purse like I'm used to. Fortunately, I ordered the bag with a slash and water-bottle pocket. More storage... :-) I like my new timbuk2 very much!

I bought this as a gift for my 60 year old stepmom. She is fashionable and fun and is not yet retired. She has a job that requires her to carry a lot of things with her, and being that she is very petite, a lot of typical work bags are very heavy or made for larger bodies. I have used Timbuk2 bags myself so I knew the quality and durability of them. When her custom bag arrived I was surprised by the updates the company has made. The strap is still durable but much more flexible than on any of my bags. There are more pockets that make more sense and have better placement than the old models. All in all the bag seems like better quality than I knew imagined and it was surprisingly easy and affordable to design online. My stepmom was thrilled and sent me a text a few days ago saying she got stopped twice in one day to hear compliments on her stylish work bag. This bag is a practical and stylish home run. The next one I order will be for myself.

I absolutely love this bag

I use this bag daily for my work laptop (15" Lenovo) and it works like a charm. I also tend to tote around a few notebooks, headphones, water bottle (24oz), and Travel coffee Cup and still have enough room for snacks and other stuff. I will say, it was recommended that I get the Large size for the 15", but I have enough room to fit my 17" personal laptop as well...not a bad thing, just something worth noting.

I use this bag, which i love love love because of the colors I've chosen, to commute by bike to work and then to the gym. It is just cool, there's no other way to say it. It does what it's supposed to do - haul stuff around - and it's great to look at. I can imagine some pretty jarring color combinations people put together but, hey, they make every bag unique and suited to its owner. Variety is what makes the world go 'round. Only things I might change are: I would add one or two zip pockets, little ones, for keys and a cell phone. I would add a couple of little eleastic strap type things to hold upright shampoo or other liquid products needed at gym. I like putting my wet towel and suit on one side and dry stuff on other, so I dont know if there is a way to improve upon this but i dont think so. The two compartments are waterproof and stuff in one doesnt effect stuff in other. Love this bag, worth every cent.

I use my bag to commute to work. I love it! Every detail is well thought out and it is very comfortable. I can carry my dress clothes/lunch/etc easily.
