I am a nurse & a busy mom, going back to school for my master's degree. I drag this bag EVERYwhere with ALL kinds of things in it! I love all the pockets & the durability. I also love that you can design your own so your bag is as unique as you are!

I use it to commute, work, weekend outings, and I bring it everywhere I go. I love the quality and the customizable options. I love that I get to choose multiple colors for the bag, I wish I could add multiple color on the strap as well or design and add my own color/artwork to the bag and to the strap. I love it that the bag is made specially for me.

Great bag. Large enough to hold a binder and computer. Two compartments inside. Very sturdy and well made. I work in the construction industry and this bag will hold up well on sites.

I carry my bag to work everyday and it holds my tablet, journal, pens and my meds oh and big oversized lunch. It holds a lot and I will definitely recommend to everyone. I will definitely be purchasing again!

This bag is timeless

the material looks great it's a tad wider and makes it more appealing I take it everywhere work shopping etc it's the perfect size for everything you need during the day so you can run all of your errands at once maybe one day someone will get the idea to put pockets on both sides one that you can stuff extra change in for those I'm in a hurry and I'm not picking it up off the floor

I work in IT and use this bag to carry my laptop and a few miscellaneous tools. There's plenty of room without being too large and the quality is top-notch.

Great for Giants games. If you buy the strap, however, be aware that it needs to be adjusted to the right place, each time you take it on and off

I have been using Timbuck2 bags for many years. I use them for every day use and I use them for my job. I highly recommend them and I don't use any of the bags.

I use this bag 5 days a week, commuting on the bus back and forth to work. I purchased the medium, however, have ordered another bag in large. Once I put my lunch in it, work shoes, paperwork, etc., I have found the medium was not big enough., for me :-(. Other than that, I love everything about the bag. That's why I ordered another one!

I am a writer, and I take my wonderful orange bag to the coffee shop, the gym, and the library to work. My 13" laptop, my writing notebooks, my medications, my snacks, my iPod, my phone, my bus money, my collapsible shopping bag--all of it fits snugly, cozily and stylishly!

I bought this to have a bag that I could take on the plane, wear at conferences, hold my computer, and was dressier than the backpack I usually take but feel out of place with. And it does all of this! Dressy, comfortable, lightweight, fits my computer. What I didn't realize is that I would also be grabbing it for errands around town. It's just the perfect size for so many things! Been using it all the time.

Use it as a daily bag. As I am a consultant, this bag is my office. The large size is big, so occasionally I will put a jacket inside. For typical daily use, you could go with a smaller size.

I use this bag as a daily purse. I am a busy mom of 6, and have my own business, so it is functional, good looking, holds what I need and makes it easy to find. I just love this bag!!

Great bag! I bought my first years ago for college and a decade later realized I was still using it daily. I needed a bigger one to fit my gym sneakers etc so bought this size upgrade. I now own a couple: style, room, travel uses. I costumized this current one so I love it's look and number of compartments. About a month using it so far and I no longer have the excuse of not being able to fit my sneakers, as way if avoiding gym time

As a student this is a great bag for all my stuff. I love all the pockets to keep thing separate,makes it easy to find things quickly.

Amazing build quality put into this bag. Chose the University of Oregon colors for our Duck who wears it proudly every day. Books, phone, laptop, water bottle, rain jacket (yeah, it rains there), clothes for weekend trips and bike stuff for commute. It's just an awesome bag that will take a beating for years to come. I've purchased numerous bags Timbuk2 bags over the years and my son now has his second. Keep up the great work!

I bought this bag because I needed to carry my possessions with me. This bag has done just that, allowing me to carry my possessions anywhere I so choose in a stylish and timely manner.

This is a great for commuting. You can use the built in sleeve for your laptop or eReader. When not commuting, it fits camera equipment as well as snacks for the road. I do a lot of wood working too. The wood dust easily comes off. Rain rolls off it too, which helps when you live in the Pacific Northwest.

This is my 3rd Timbuk2 bag and they get better with each purchase. This time the handle on top and the little flaps to keep the water out of the main compartment are perfect additions. I use them daily until they wear out; they survive subway trips, day hikes and commuting every day. Create your own design and you will love it even more. Thanks Timbuk2 for allowing me the option and for making great products.

This messenger bag is just what it was expected to be. Love how what my son wanted was what he got!

This is my third Timbuk2 bag, all of which are still used actively, so it's fair to say I'm a fan. The main reasons I select Timbuk2 are for the quality and appearance of their bags. I am not gentle on my work bags (they're slung around everywhere from trains to buses to airplanes), but these bags hold up so well! With this latest purchase, I was looking for a small(ish) bag to toss in a laptop, a charger, an ID holder/slim wallet, sunglasses, and my small Moleskine. This particular bag had to be light and comfortable to run around in a city visiting client sites, and it had to have easy access to my phone and wallet for a metro card. I was also looking for something with a smaller profile so I wasn't taking up too much space on the subway at any given time. Lastly, I wanted to create my own bag for a change. Well, after several city trips, I can say that this bag fits the bill PERFECTLY. I have a 13-in MacBook Air that slides into the back of the bag perfectly (I did not get the divider), and I can store my sunglasses in one of the "water bottle" pockets. I absolutely LOVE this bag, as it fits its specific use-case perfectly. I did add on the Timbuk2 padded strap for additional comfort. Functionality aside, the bag is very attractive. It looks professional but I was still able to add my own flair. I can't say enough great things, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another messenger bag like this.

Spent a lot of time online searching for the perfect messager bag with enough room for a camera, lenses, mini tripod, umbrella, and other things while traveling around Paris. Also will be great as an overnight bag. Took my time custom designing my bag as well. Very happy with my choice! My husband likes it so much he's ordering his own!

As I said. I have an extra small bag that's a bit too small, the small bag is a bit too big compared to the extra small one. Wish there was one in the middle!

I've had the small version of this bag (2014) for a number of years and it is still going strong. I needed more room so I purchased the medium custom classic. There are a few changes worth noting on the newer 2016 bag. The material is lighter but appears to be just as strong. The strap is not as stiff and the adjustment mechanism is new. I like both changes and the bag is comfortable without the extra strap pad which I did not want. I like the additional water bottle/accessory pouches on the inside. My one complaint is the color selection is quite limited. I prefer muted colors that don't call attention to the bag and settled on the carbon color. I looked at the web image on three different computers and an iPad and the color was much darker when it arrived. It is growing on me but not what I expected. Other than that one complaint I believe it is still the best messenger bag available.
