After 7-8 years of owning this bag, it was holding up great-- albeit a bit dirty after all these years. Only real issues were that the plastic buckles had finally broke off and the back corners of the bag were starting to wear through. Still, I loved the bag and could use it to carry my MBP while I rode my bike to work. I was prepping to do some surgery to fix the buckles, but my wife surprised me with a new replacement bag for Christmas. I love that it's the same bag---although in a different color pairing. I'm confident I'll get another 8 years out of the new one, but I'm hesitant to throw the old one away! My only issue ends up being that if I put a piece of paper into it, it's not really protected from being bent, folded, etc. That's more on me being a messy guy than the fault of the bag, however.

As an ENT surgical resident this bag is exceptional to carry all that I need for patients rounds in the hospital. The compartments are easily accessible enabling me to stay organized and efficient. The size and quality are excellent. And I love that I was able to customize all the details!

Love the configurability and multiple size options. I've had various versions of this bag for years and they hold up extremely well. My only tweak would be making the side water bottle pockets bigger. They are too small for any of my current bottles, size 12 oz and up.

Loving this bag. I got one for myself last year, and just got one for my partner. The size is perfect for commuting to work. Holds a tablet, coffee in a travel mug, glasses and other basics - strap adjusts easily. This year's purchase includes a nice elastic loop to capture the strap end and keep it from flapping around. I used to have the next size up... but this is better as it keeps me from hauling unnecessary stuff around. Also, really enjoyed the customizable color options.

I've gone through quite a few commuter bags and I knew immediately that I would be using this one for a long time. It holds my 15" laptop and plenty of accessories with room to spare. Been buying Timbuk2 messenger bags for over 20 years. These bags are incredibly durable, last a long time and remain in incredible condition. I am now 47 and have passed down my love if Timbuk2 to my 15 year old autistic son that started out borrowing my bags, and now has his own!

I love this bag. It's the perfect size for me to carry all of the things I had in my large purse, plus some extra room for my knitting/crocheting materials. The strap is super comfy and I love that the Velcro automatically closes when the flap closes. A perfect bag.

This was a gift for my son. It is his second timbuk2, the first is about 15 years old and still in great shape, but he decided he wanted one in custom colors. The process was easy and the results are beautiful.

I already have this bag and bought another one for my daughter. It is a Christmas gift but I already know she is going to love it! The roominess and the various pockets are all perfect for notebooks, lap top, and supplies for shuttling between work and home.

Perfect size, and no wasted space. Excellent design, with just the right number and type of pockets and protection but no extra fluff or stuff that gets in the way. I can easily pack my laptop, iPad, chargers, phone, and other essentials.

The Classic Timbuk2 Messenger bag is a gift for my 38-year-old daughter. It is a replacement for one I bought her twenty years ago. That is saying a lot, she cycled everywhere for everything for ten of those twenty years. Thank for a great product.

This serves as my EDC and also sometimes camera bag and even in the small size it has plenty of room.

Great bag! Just what my son wanted.

I like being able to mix and match colors, fabrics, and edge material. Makes it highly customizable. Also like options for inside the bag. I do, however, miss the sizes of some older and discontinued bags. I purchased medium to replace an old D-Lux style; the medium is slightly too small and the large is too big by comparison. I also like the closure straps better on that bag because they didn't loop under the bag. I do like the quick adjust mechanism on my new bag better. Can't go wrong with Timbuk2.

Bag is great. Holds tons of things and I love the little pockets everywhere. One thing I would have changed is not get the pockets inside for the "water bottle" they are essentially useless unless you want to hold a small plastic Poland Spring bottle. I wanted to be able to hold my 20oz hydro flask but not a chance.

This timbuk2 is my 2nd one. I have used my first one more than 10 years, but it has been a bit ragged. I love the fact this is a messenger bag unlike regular backpack, it is easier to sling it on my body.

I've been using these messenger bags for over 10 years n various sizes. This is my first custom one. Love everything about it. No you can't have mine - order your own.

This is my new work bag and it's perfect! I upgraded to add the laptop sleeve, and the distribution of pockets is great.

I bought my medium messenger bag to carry my heavy 16" workstation laptop and other work items daily, to and from work. I discovered SO MANY cool color and material combinations when I was configuring my bag and I love the result. This bag is well-crafted, very convenient and depending on your color choice can be as dressy or sporty-looking s you like. I might buy a smaller bag for my smaller laptops. My only nit-picky criticism is that the Velcro used is very noisy for some business situations.
