I've owned multiple Timbuk2 bags since I received my first one for free at a bicycling tradeshow in Salt Lake City back in 1994. At that time, they actually sewed the bags with our color choice right there in the booth while we watched. I still have that first bag, and still use it regularly. It has never once needed a single repair, which I can't say for any other bag I've owned. Certainly not one that I've owned for almost 30 years! I needed a new smaller bag for my work laptop, so I bought my fifth Timbuk2 bag. As always, it's meticulously made, durable, lightweight, practical, everything you want in a bag that you'll be using for the next 30 years. Pass it along to your children or grandchildren.

I bought my first messenger bag, the orange one, back in May 2010. I've used it pretty much daily since then. Whether in my car or strapped to my motorcycle, my bag has protected my laptop and notebooks from sun, snow, rain, and wind. Honestly my bag is pretty beat up. The Velcro is coming loose. The stitching is starting to come free. There's a hole at the bottom. But that's after thirteen years of use. I have no complaints at all with my old bag. I'm still using it but not for my laptop, more of a general bag. My new one will be my new daily carry bag for my laptop, notebooks, and things. I hope to love this one as much as the old.

Great bag with the exception of the ugly compression straps, but since that's part of the bag I guess that's the way it goes. Love the colors.

Replacing my last Timbuk2 bag that I've had for greater than 20 years as my new pup ate it. Bags are well made & worth the money. Stuff with laptop, files, books and loads of other work items. Always my go to.

I've had by new messenger bag for a couple weeks and am very happy with it. The medium bag with the laptop sleeve holds my 14" laptop and Ipad perfectly in their own slots and the interior water bottle holders are perfect for my water bottle and travel mug. The rain resist and reflective materials are very nice and appear super durable. The silver reflective fabric is super bright. As a lefty I am very happy with the ability to modify the bag for left handed access. I hope to have this bag for many years to come and would definitely recommend it to others. It is worth the price to have the customization options.

Love this classic bag in my own colors - for work, travel and shopping. Getting a lot of unsolicited compliments! Upgrades are amazing and worth it.

I use this bag everyday. Working on an island, my commute is by a passenger ferry to a barrier island off the coast of North Carolina. I carry all my important papers, phone charging equipment, Kindle, etc. for my daily crossing. It is the perfect size. I choose the brown, even though I wanted to go more modern, I needed to be somewhat conservative looking in real estate world. Next one will be red to carry my laptop to the top of a mountain.

The bag is perfect! I do miss that original timbuk2 logo--could you make adding that to your bag optional?

Perfect bag for work. Laptop sleeve fits my computer perfect and the custom colors look awesome. High quality material too.

I bought this bag as a gift for my husband. His old timbuk2 bag was starting to wear out and was too small for his 17 inch work laptop, it was a medium. Also the old design of the strap kept popping out and causing the bag to drop off. Although I had to buy a custom because they didn't have a large in stock. Also the custom didn't come with a shoulder strap pad, you have to pay extra for one. The stock bags come with a strap pad. Other than that we love timbuk2 bags. Very spacious and big enough to fit his laptop and work books. The redesign of the strap makes it easy to use and holds secure now.

I bought this same bag 10 or so years ago. I used it like crazy and I still have it. The new bag is so much better...pockets, bottle storage, strap, reflecting...awesome bag STILL!!!

Functional non-business "day" pack that holds a 10-tablet, phone and etcs, a windbreaker, cup-holder size bottle, lunch/snacks, compartments for docs, passport etc. Met my requirements.

Have been using T.2 bags for over 10 years and this one is great as ever. The fabric is water/dirt resistant and incredibly strong. Also the straps are attached to the sides with multiple stitching and unbreakable buckles. Inside there are countless pockets( zipped and open) suited for all kinds of 'contents'. In addition, I could choose the colors which are deep and vibrant - soft and natural. I've looked around the world and this is the most durable, practical shoulder bag I've found :)

I decided to upgrade my ancient xs bag. they refuse to wear out. I like the new features and design but some things could be a little better. the bottle holders on the inside are in the perfect spot, just a bit too small. the new stash pockets on the inside arent as good as the old ones. I miss the clear ID holder and bc the pocket bends out with stuff in it and cant really hold pens and pencils, just pushes them out. I like the separator panel, just wish it had a button to keep it closed and out of the way. I'll just bust out the sewing machine and make the mods I need. Thanks for a fantastic bag!

I absolutely loved this bag! It's roomy, easy to clean, and so durable!! I was given this bag by a friend over 15 years ago, after he had had it for almost 10 years, and it has been with me every day.....that is until my truck window was smashed out and my bag was stolen from my back seat on 8/18. I think I was more upset and angry with the fact that they stole my Timbuk2 than the broken car window. I ordered a new one the very next day and I cannot wait for it to arrive!
