Gift for my daughter. She loved it!

This is my new mobile office. Holds and does everything I need. Love the new strap material and the metal slider. My old bag ( think 15 years) is still awesome, but the liner is slowly breaking down from hard use over time and the bottom has tiny holes. If the new one is anywhere near as good I'm probably set for life! It will also make a super carry on for weekend trips.

This is my 2nd timbuktu bag, I bought a smaller one 10 years ago and it has been fantastic and needed to go up in size. They are so durable and last forever, my original is still in use and I use it on every international trip.

Yes, as noted in various venues around the web it is sad, maybe even unfortunate, that these bags are no longer made in SF but the quality is still there and I anticipate this bag lasting a VERY long time. Being able to customize *my own bag* offers something that cannot be replaced -- no matter where it is made.

Bought for my son, this bag replaced his more than ten year old one. He carries it daily with his camera, iPad, and everything else he needs for the day. When he travels he uses it as his "carryon". It's amazing how much it can hold and being able to customize it just adds to its usefulness.

I bought a custom large classic bag (the only other ready made option was black) Looks great and has a load of neat features (pockets, zips etc.). I'm definitely pleased I went for the custom option. The only thing I forgot to add was the padded shoulder strap part - assumed it was standard!! Otherwise it's really well made and will last. This is actually my second one - I also have a medium one.

I'm very happy with my bag and the available colors to personalize. Not to happen with the strap and it's locking function but the functionality of the bag makes it worth the trouble. Just the right size for my lunch and other items for work. I've always loved the brand and now I have another!

I bought my first Timbuk2 messenger bag in the early 2000s and was a dedicated user until the plastic buckles started failing. I would be riding my scooter and all the sudden the buckle would pop open and the loaded bag would drop like a stone, throwing me and the motorbike off balance. The danger of crashing was so great that I had to stop using the bags. I went to a Timbuk2 store in person and begged for a new buckle; they said they could only give me one of the same design. I was forced to switch to a Chrome bag, which had a much sturdier (seatbelt!) buckle but just wasn't as comfortable or convenient or spacious. I occasionally checked the Timbuk2 website to see if anything had changed, and imagine my thrill when I saw that the buckles on the classic messengers have been upgraded to a better metal design! I ordered my new bag (an exact replica of my last one) in December and have been on cloud nine ever since. Thanks for keeping this classic, beloved design always in your catalog, and for holding unchanged all the things that are great about it while improving the things that didn't work!

I ordered a custom color combination as a birthday gift. Great design and very well made! The strap is a bit long but can be adjusted shorter. Overall very happy with my purchase!

My bag is amazing! I love it and have gotten several compliments on it. I love how customizable the colors and features are. It is the best bag I have had in awhile. The company is also fabulous to work with. There was a complication with my bag and they were very responsive. Best travel bag ever

I bought this as a gift for my partner. She is very pleased with its construction and features especially its functionality regarding carrying computers and their associates miscellany. (My much simpler bag is still going strong after nearly daily use over 20plus years!)

We purchased this bag to carry environmental testing supplies for a lead hazard control program here in Vermont. We needed something large enough to carry all of our supplies and which was set up in a way that everything could be well-organized in the bag. So far it's working great! We really beat on this thing. It really needs a pad on the strap though, as it's pretty uncomfortable, the more stuff you have in it. I love the customized colors you can get. We were able to get colors matching our city flag, which is pretty cool. This is definitely the burliest bag we could find.

I have had now four messenger bags from TimBuk2. Reason I am getting another one is because the weatherproof seal on the inside is falling off after 15 years. My brother gifted me my first one and fell in love with it instantly. My bags have been all over Asia and Europe and even Australia. Comfy, sturdy, and great storage when on planes or trains. I am going to be ordering another custom bag this weekend.
