Replaced the Merrell's I've had for...20years? (UGH!!) Basically use them for house slippers and in the yard. The new puppy got at the old ones...they would have been just fine for another 10. Excellent product especially for the price.

My favorite shoe in any color. I have black shoes and finally ordered brown shoes. The photo is misleading. The shoe is not a mahogany color but a dull, dark brown.

These shoes are comfortable and look nice. I especially like the way the toe box is rounded (not pointed), which means that my toes are not uncomfortably squished together. I wear these shoes for work and for casual activities.

Happy! That's how my feet feel in this shoe. They feel more like slippers than shoes, with their cushy soles, wide toe box that lets my toes move and grasp, and the easy stride they help me have. They accommodate my orthotics perfectly. They are presentable in just about any circumstance. Nice looking, actually! Comfortable from the beginning, they did break in over the course of a week and now they feel like they are my feet. I needed a half size smaller than I usually wear but the wide width is perfect. My only wish is that Merrell would produce more styles in a wide width.

Have worn them almost every day. Very comfy. Plenty large...I ordered half size up but I did not need to. I installed support to take up excess sizing. They look good with jeans, too.

I wanted a shoe that I could slip on when I get up in the morning and wear around the house. And yes, these are the shoes I selected. I like them because they have a bit of arch support, and the heel is padded. They are wonderful, and fit true to size.

Fabulous shoes. I'd had a few pairs of the "mesh" ones and the leather ones are more formal for work, but just as comfortable. Bracken color is lovely brown.

I had bought some Merrell sneakers and loved them, getting ready for a trade show for 3 days on my feet, so decided to give these a try. They were great out of the box...fit perfectly and I had no foot paid or leg pain for three days on concrete floors! They are definitely my go to shoes!

Love these! This is my second pair; previous ones have lasted 3 years. Super-confortable, good arch support. Can walk in them all day!

I am a nurse, on my feet for 13 hours straight each day that I work. These shoes are the best! My legs and feet are not sore after work. The best part is slipping them off during my breaks! I swear by this style in particular. I have a pair in both colors, I am due to upgrade my brown ones, after an accidental seven mile hike in Arizona while wearing them! I was comfortable but these are not hiking shoes at all. They are perfect for women on their feet all day.

These shoes are awesome! I love that they have a wide width! I have wide feet and it is hard to find shoes that fit! These shoes fit me perfectly! I did not even have to "break them in!" I am on my feet all day and my feet don't hurt anymore with these shoes! I love them and highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

I am the first to admit my feet are wider and rounder and harder to fit into a shoe than most but this Merrell style in Wide is just great. I was skeptical because many clog styles have a narrow opening even in a wide width and more often than not, I can't get my foot to go in (think Cinderella's Step-sister) or if my foot is crammed in, the top part cuts too near my ankle which is far from comfortable. When I received this pair, I didn't hold much hope but my foot slid in, snug, but not uncomfortable snug. The next test was standing and it was still okay. I walked around, still good. So I tried it out on my weekend errands - not a heavy walking day but enough to go for a test drive. By the time I got home, lugged in my packages, I thought my feet would be screaming pain but they were fine. I would recommend this style for anyone looking for a shoe that is comfortable and made well. When you walk, it feels solid and in the rain, you don't feel you will slip. The leather makes it durable and over time, it will get broken-in and become more comfortable. This shoe is versatile and goes with most activities, at work and at play. And a side comment about Zappos and the speed in which you order, are notified and receive your product is lightening fast - talk about "zapping" from site to in-hand. Happy with the product, happy with the service. Life is good.

This is my third pair of these shoes and I am just as satisfied as with the first pair. The sizing seems correct and the shoe is very well constructed. They are constructed to last and look good until the end.

I'm on my feet ALL DAY LONG and these shoes are great. I got them because I'm pregnant and fluffy and getting to my feet to tie shoes is becoming difficult. I like that they can be very casual or go with slacks. Yay for me!

Super Comfortable Shoes! I just love these. They are so convenient with their easy slip-on/off style. They seem to be true to size as I am almost always an 8 1/2 and these fit perfectly in that size. My foot width is C/D and BOTH the regular AND the wide fit me very well. I just put a thicker insole in the wide width and that takes up just enough slack so they don't feel sloppy or loose. They stay put nicely while walking. The leather seems to be of a good quality. They look really good with jeans too. I would definitely recommend these.

I already had this shoe in black, so I knew what I was getting. However, the color was darker than it appeared in the picture and this was disappointing.

Love this shoe. This is my 2nd pair of this shoe. They last for many years. I bought my first pair in 2005. They are the most comfortable shoe in the world. I bought a different shoe to replace my last pair of Merrell's. Big mistake. I developed plantar fasciitis so I bought this pair of Merrell's again and the problem went away in a few weeks. The most comfortable and foot healthy shoe on the market. I also have morton's neuroma but I am pain free when I'm wearing my Merrell's Encore Nova 2.

Zappos, you are awesome! I ordered these shoes at 1 pm yesterday and they just arrived at 3 pm today. I live in a small town on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, where mail usually takes quite a while...Zappos has the best and quickest service. These Merrells are just what I wanted. They are true to size, very comfortable and lightweight. I'm a nurse and on my feet 12 hours a day...I will be wearing them tomorrow with confidence, as I always do with Merrell. Thanks Zappos.

I had plantar fasciitis and these shoes turned out to be the cure. For some reason, they gave just the right cushioning and support.

I began wearing Merrell shoes on the recommendation of my doctor because I had severe foot pain in other shoes. Little did I know that Encore Nova would be my saving grace for my feet. I just love them. When I order, I order at least two pairs because I walk a lot and I really "put a hurt" on them; so I change my old shoe into a house shoe and wear my new ones when I go out. Zappos can't keep enough of them for me. You must try them.

Recently I was experiencing some problems with arches on the the foot bottom. I had positive experiences with Merrill shoes before, so selected these. They help support the bottom of the food and are very comfortable. The slightly raised heel keeps the shoe on the foot.

I wear the Encore Nova, the latest pair has mesh lining. I find that the mesh liner is very irritating. The smooth lining is much more comfortable especially if I want to go with socks or knee highs. Don't worry about the smell, we want comfort. Bring back the smooth liner! Thank you for a well BUILT SHOE.

These shoes are very comfortable and also nice enough to wear for not only casual but with more dressy slacks or dresses also (my opinion anyway, not a high heels girl myself). They are much more comfortable than the Dansko clogs that I have had because sometimes when walking in the Dansko shoes that I had I have turned my ankle in them when stepping on a stone or unlevel surfaces. These feel more secure and stable on my foot and also more comfortable. These run true to size, unlike some Merrell shoes that I have had to order up half a size. They last well in my experience (have had two pairs of these now).

Wearing a 10.5 medium, I am not always easy to fit nor can I always find shoes that are "wow" shoes. My major goal is comfort and these shoes were comfortable from the first moment. At first they seemed a little loose on the heel and I was debating on returning them. So glad I didn't as they have now conformed to my foot and are a great fit. I had never tried a Merrell shoe before and would recommend it.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip where I planned to do a lot of walking. I have been wearing them every day since they have arrived. They are extremely comfortable, have great arch support an they look good with casual outfits. The style of the shoe is very convenient when on the go because you can easily slip them on and off.
