Very comfortable. Easy to slip on and off. The shoes provide good protection when goats accidentally step on my feet.

These are wonderfully comfortable even when walking or standing long periods of time. I have found something odd about how they fit me though; despite trying 3 or 4 different sizes I was not able to get it quite right. So I have to wear these, which are too big, with socks. Nonetheless I still love the shoes.

I stand on my feet all day, plus I have a Morten's Neuroma. These shoes are so comfortable. I use my own orthotic and couldn't ask for a better work shoe. I also own the Merrell Dassie MJ. I use my orthothic in them as well. These Encore's are a little more comfortable than my Dassie's for all day working. I'm between a 7 and 7.5. I ordered the 7.5 to allow for my orthotic, and some feet swelling I encounter towards the end of my work day. They are perfect.

I have worn this Merrell style for three years and found it to be very comfortable for long hours of walking/standing. I wear a 12N/M but an 11M fit fine with my Land's End cotton crew socks which are men's. I do add a cushion arch support only because I have a long arch and the additional source is good. I ordered another pair of Merrells in a different style at the same time. Since these also fit well, I returned this one. I hope they do not discontinue this style before I really need to replace the ones that I am wearing.

I had a pair of old suede Merrells I used here in Massachusetts during all the cold winter weather , rainy cold, snow when not too deep (otherwise wore snow boots cause we had a lot of snow!) they were old but comfortable but needed to be cleaned -- bought these, put them on & they were & are wonderful! So easy to slide into (had both knees replaced & it's hard to tie a shoe).

I've been wearing this style for years and they are still making my feet happy. I love the easy way the leather conforms to the shape of my foot and the ease of sliding in and out of them.

What can I say?! These are Merrell Encore Nova 2 shoes, and are extremely comfortable. Rich color brown, hug the foot and don't slide out...win, win!

I live in these shoes. I have bunions that limit my shoe selections so these are a treat. Comfortable.

These clogs are very comfortable. They have a very smooth interior, so there are no irritating protrusions. I have them in two colors - after wearing one, I ordered a second pair.

Bought these in 8 wide to accommodate my bunions -- good call. Although they are not quite as supportive as Alegria, I love the look and comfort. I do wish the arch was a bit more supportive; my old Merrells seem to have better arch support. Also, be careful to check the inner soles -- when I checked mine, each inner sole was in the opposite shoe! Huge difference in comfort. All in all, I love them, and might order a pair in black when I get some money. Best looking casual jean shoe.

Have always liked Merrell shoes. These did not disappoint. I am disappointed that they now longer offer the fleece line version of these shoes.

I've worn these shoes three days in a row, walking downtown, walking the dog, walking at work. My new favorite shoes! Lightweight, comfy right out of the box, stylish, true to size, though may be on the narrow side. I wear narrow so this is a plus for me.

I am now wearing my 4th pair of Merrell. Encore 2 shoes. They wear well, I can wear a pair a year and a half. Even at this cost. Prorated that is pretty reasonable.

Already have the black ones which are great, saw the brown version and had to have. One of the rare finds especially in a size 5. Like that they're nicely done in leather.

Love my new clogs! I think Zappos got them here faster than me driving to the mall, parking, finding a store that sells them, and waiting for a sales person! Thank you Zappos!

This is my second purchase of this shoe. I wear them everyday to work, were I stand on my feet for 8 to 10 hours. There is no breaking in period. Wear them right out of the box, all day. When these wear out in about 18 to 20 months (remember, I wear them every day, five days a week, 8 to 10 hours a day) I will purchase them again!

So I waited to write a review, because I wanted to be sure about the shoes: I love them. they are really comfortable. They have nice support. They are true to size (I am a W10 med.). They are lightweight, and also they are attractive.

Love the shoe. I wear a large size and I'm used to shoes that cut small, but these are roomy, with room for my orthotics.

This is a great, comfortable shoe. I prefer to wear it in the house as a house shoe/slipper. I have plantar fasciitis and I feel no discomfort in these shoes.

This is my second pair of Merrells. They are a little more expensive than I like but you can't put a price on comfort and these are comfortable. I have two types of arthritis and have trouble getting shoes that don't hurt my feet. These are great.

Can't get through winter without these shoes! Comfortable, walkable and I can wear whatever weight socks suit me any given day! The lip at the back keeps these slides from sliding This style has become a classic. Wish the black had a black sole, too. The Zappos picture is slightly redder than the actual shoe color.

Beautiful but with my bunions, the only one of this design that I can tolerate, (and yes, without pain!) is the mesh fabric version of this. I feel such security that I can manage my feet in winter just having the option of the mesh version.

I love Merrell shoes. These are no exception, comfortable with lots of support and the color gold goes with everything. I just love them.

Well made shoe (I replaced some Easy Spirits because of poor construction for these). Glad I ordered down 1/2 size -- the 9 1/2 does not slop around like my size 10 Breeze. May be too wide if you have a narrow foot (narrow heel won't matter). Easy to step into. Enough support for extended walking.

I love Merrell clogs! They are comfortable to walk in, with soles that are very stable (in other words, my ankle doesn't turn so that I fall and break my wrist -- unlike another brand of clogs that I won't name.
