OK but pro grip is better. Sending these back. Sloppier fit that the other model.

These are not my favorite Merrells but they will do...the shoe runs wide and a little large. It does slip and slide, with the heel sort of bothering me. It is just okay for a mule. I will order more of Merrell's but hoping that they are not running as large as this one does...nothing special about this one and won't order another of this one.

Out of the box, it looks great and feels light as a feather. But I'm disappointed. After only a few hours, this clog was scuffed and marked -- and I was only wearing it around the house! It's only gone downhill since then. I'm afraid to say it, but I think I'm going to have to polish these if I don't want to look like a bum. That's saying something, since I work from home and rarely dress up. I wouldn't buy them again. Hmmm, this is the second pair of Merrells I've said this about. Guess I should listen to my own reviews.

Normally Merrell is a good fit for me and that is why I am willing to order online. In this case the left shoe was quite a bit off in width from the right foot. Very disappointing.

These were to be winter replacements for the Merrell Encore Breeze. They do not have any arch support and the innersole is not as supportive as the Breeze model. I purchased innersoles to put under the ones that came in the shoes and now they are more comfortable and I decided to keep them. I was rather disappointed that they were NOT exact copies (feel wise) of the Breeze. But that is what happens when one buys online without trying!

I have worn the Merrell Encore Nova (the original, not the "Nova 2") for the past several years and loved them right out of the box. I ordered the same size (which is what I typically wear) in the "Nova 2," but the redesign does not work well for me. My foot slips out of the back, the front is a bit tight, and the arch support feels like it is in the wrong spot. Sadly, they have to go back.

These have been my everyday, go-to shoes for as long as I can remember and I loved them. Something has changed with the entire shoe. My foot does not fit in it at all, too large, it seems to be made of cheap materials, and it is so shiny, not at all like the former Merrell Encore. I am returning them, will find something else and in my city, but continue to order from Zappos for the superior service, free over night shipping and I love to shop late in the evening. I also need the shearling lined style - hope they improve before I must order them.

I have loved and worn these shoes for years, but, unfortunately, many reviewers are right about the "new" version and poor quality materials. So disappointing! Returning!

These are very comfortable right out of the box, but they lasted less than six months. The soles are completely destroyed. I only wear them on evenings and weekends in cool weather, so we are not talking about continuous or hard use. Very disappointing. I've loved Merrill clogs in the past. Wish I could attach a picture of the disintegration. Excellent service from zappos, as always.

Love the fit, feel and look of these -- but they are going back because they squeak! Every step is audible and annoying for everyone around me. It is related to manufacture or assembly, and is an issue I have encountered with various pairs of Merrell slides over the past couple of years. I have probably returned half of the purchases, and this is the final one. Although I love these, I will not buy any more Merrells.

I love Merrell shoes but these seem very cheap. The leather is super thin and there is a weird lining under the leather that makes a crinkling sound. The color is more of a muddy brown than how it looks in the picture. I am sadly going to return this pair.

Greatly disappointed in Merrell with this shoe; I have their hikers and love the ortho/arch support in those. These shoes definitely do not have the same support! For the price I expected a lot more. Big disappointment.

I wish the Ice model was here, because it's the one I want to review. Assuming this is the same shoe, just without the wool insole and trim. Merrill USED to be good. Now, the fit, materials and comfort are just not the same. The shoes have NO cushioning - other than the removable insole, which crushes down to nothing. Then, you feel every ridge on the molded hard and weirdly shaped bottom of the shoe. It's like walking on mis-shapen hard cardboard. I actually LIMP in pain after wearing these and walking for any period of time. The heel dips inside, like the hard insole is buckling into the molded sole. UGH! I will NEVER buy Merrills again. Cheap now, and no comfort or lasting comfort. They are not what they started out as. I first found the Jungle Mocs, and loved them - Now they are cut funny - and cheap, too. Bummer. Looking for something else. Not worth the money - a joke!

Unfortunately these clogs are not the same as my previous pair of Encore Nova 2 Merrells. The company has made the opening larger and higher thus they did not fit my foot at all. I kept sliding out of the shoe. Frustrating since I tried other sizes and widths but they still make my foot slide out. Thanks Zappos for your excellent customer support

wonderful shoe, but doesn't fit because I have a very high instep. It has been a consistent problem with Merrell shoes and I wish it weren't. They are wonderful shoes.

The one I found at Mall is super soft and cushioned. However, that was clearance and the model was covered by the sticky sales price. I guess this one is the closest. I am disappointed that this is hard and rough, no cushioned at all (compared to the Mall's). It's like meeting a dream man but didn't get his number.

The ratings above did in fact rate 3-5 stars. Do take notice that quality is not up for review. The soles are cheaply glued on and the stitching is nothing more than decoration that comes off intact with the sole when it peels off. If the price was 20 it would be understandable. All be it these shoes really are comfortable while the sole lasts, these shoes are seriously over priced with poorly made soles.
