I had the same pair of shoes from a previous year that needed to be replaced. I have problem feet and I wear these shoes at work. I was pleased I could still order them. I ordered late one afternoon and I had the shoes the following afternoon. Yeah Zappos!

The first pair that I ordered was too big. I did an exchange and received the correct size. These shoes are expensive, but very comfortable and light weight. They run true to size. I have worn Merrells for years and always am happy with every pair that I have owned. Zappos shipped out the correct size and I received them before I could even ship the others back. Zappos is my favorite shopping site. They definitely have it together and make ordering and exchanges very easy.

Great shoe, I've owned several before this purchase. The color is not really as shown, but a darker, dustier brown (which I like a lot).

I LOVE these shoes! They are so easy to slip on and off, yet stay on your feet well when walking. Perfect fit and they look great.

I love these shoes. I have ordered several pairs from Zappos, and they are always my favorites for everyday wear. This time they arrived one day after ordering! The shoes are super comfortable, hold my orthotics in place, and are well made. Like all my shoes, the outside heels wear out too fast. I would love it if the heel could be made of sturdier composition. but that's my only complaint.

It is hard to rate these shoes because I have to exchange them for a smaller size, but, I was impressed with how weightless they were. I can't wait to get them in the right size. I usually wear a 9, but these were too big. The arch was not hitting me in the right place and they were too long. I have work Merrell clogs for years and they are definitely my go to shoe when I have to be on my feet for a long time.

These are a good quality work shoes. They fit a bit more snug than my last pair, but I still went with the same size. Expensive, but worth the cost. My last pair lasted me years!

Love this shoe. I have been a big fan of Merrill shoes for years. Have several pairs of sandals that are a spring and summer staple. This is my first pair of closed toe shoes. I usually wear a narrow, knew I would want to wear these with socks this winter so the med. is perfect. The minute I put them on I knew they would become my go to shoe. May I say fast shipping is an understatement. Ordered yesterday morning, received this morning. Thank you Zappos.

I loved the earlier version of this shoe but I can't wear the new one because the lip around the shoe is not as big and I can't keep it on my feet. The shoe is wonderful if you don't need the extra support, but for those of us who have special needs, the new iteration doesn't work.

I've had at least half a dozen pairs of Merrell clogs. They are so comfortable that you never think about your feet! I take a 9 1/2 in this style, but a 9 in the Merrell sandals, and sometimes a 10 in other brands.

I am a surgeon and wear these shoes to work every day. I love them and after years of trial and error found the perfect everyday work shoe. So comfy and excellent support. Even though I am on my feet all day, my feet never ever hurt! I hope they never stop carrying these.

The shoe is excellent, and so are the folks at Zappos! I absolutely love doing business with Zappos!

I love these shoes! I used to wear backless clogs (in my youth) and mistakenly believed that these low backs would hurt my heels; in fact, I can't feel them at all and I wear them everywhere, with and without socks/stockings.

Thank you Merrell for listening! I love that you have added more solid support back into the heel area! My heels and arches are so happy! When you changed to the Encore from the Primo they were just too soft causing foot pain. I saw these being new and decided to try one more time and bingo comfort. I'm now back to being a Merrell customer.

Comfortable non skid work shoes

I have worn this brand for several years-this shoe just seemed to be narrower than my foot could be comfortable in

I own three pairs of Merrell clogs so I know they run big. I normally wear a size 10.5 B, but in Merrells I order a 10. Not these! The 10s were huge! I set them alongside one of my older pairs and they were half an inch longer. Plus they were "tall," if that's the right word. There was space between the top of my foot and the shoe. So I'm sending these back and I'll try a size 9.5.

I love Merrell for their sturdiness while having some style, if you are into that look.I have a brown nubuk pair with fur linning which I love and I use for casual, slip on and go. I usually wear a 8.5 so I can fit my orthotic in a shoe (normal shoe size is 7.5) and still have good room for my big toe. In this shoe the 8 seems to be fine, though I am still wearing them around the house to be sure. I agree there is no arch support but, not an issue for me because I can put my orthotic in and it works well. The orthotic does make the top of the shoe a little snug but, I think that helps keep it on better. Time will tell if that causes rubbing. Note, the color brown is darker than the picture. I like the color it actually is, dark brown, not redish as it appears in the photo. My only wish would be that Merrell made more of their woman's shoes in the wide width! These come in wide which is the only reason I could consider them in the first place.

I wanted to love these shoes, but they were too long, even though I ordered exact size I've purchased in the Encore 2 mesh style. At size 9 1/2 - 10, my feet are long and these shoes don't do anything for me.

I stand on my feet all day and have worn these shoes for a long time. I am disappointed with my current pair. The seems to be very little padding in the sole and after a few hrs on my feet, my feet start to hurt. I will probably get some extra padding for them.

the cut on this new style of Encore is higher on the foot and less comfortable than the older style. Why didi they mess with a good thing?

My first purchase from Zappos: Merrell's Encore Nova 2 - women's 8.5 medium shoes. I've bought Merrell shoes in the past and can wear them all day in comfort. They are solid and well made, lasting for years. With this pair, however, the right shoe was tighter and pinched uncomfortably, so I used a shoe stretcher to enlarge it. The left shoe was perfect. I had purchased the wide width first, but those shoes were way too roomy. Since I had to return the wide width shoes, I dealt with the Zappos' phone representatives and their 1 year return policy. I received unbelievably fantastic customer service - pleasant, courteous, informative, accurate and fast no hassles. Within seconds of calling the help line, I had the return UPS address label with free postage sent to my email inbox to print out. Since I got an even merchandise exchange, with another pair of shoes, there was no hassle or mistakes with my credit card either. This transaction took place late in the afternoon. I received my replacement shoes the next morning - delivered right to my door! Wow! I hadn't even returned the first pair of shoes yet. You always take a chance when buying anything online without trying it on, but with this company, you can have total peace of mind that any problem will be resolved quickly and you will be treated well. 5 stars to the return policy! And to the outstanding people at Zappos, I send a resounding thank you! Job well done!

These Merrells are comfortable and lightweight, just what I had hoped for for a four week trip to Europe. That said, they both look and feel more than a little plasticky. The Merrell Dassie Slides which I received on the same day, are similar in lightweight, packable comfort, and price point. The Dassies, however, have a less plastic look, and feel!
