These are as comfortable as sneakers but are a step-up from the casualness of sneakers. Best with jeans but can be worn with a skirt. My go-to everyday shoes. Brown looks great with denim.

This my second pair of Merrell slip-on shoes. I find that the size 8 in this style works better for me than my usual 7 1/2 shoe size. Very comfortable,if I am on my feet for any length of time. My custom insoles fit nicely. Not a fancy shoe, but they work for me.

I ordered the Merrell Encore Nova 2, size 8.5 W and they fit perfectly and are very comfy. I typically have to return shoes once or twice til I find a good fit with any shoe because of my wide foot and plantar faciitis. Thank you, Zappos, for providing such good service.

I purchased these as an alternative to walking shoes: for the garden cleanup and watering plants, short errands, casual dinner out. They related another brand, whose heel blew out; plastic pieces everywhere. I have worn Merrill's for over 10 years. They are my go to brand for comfort and support. This one doesn't rank on style, as I don't consider any form of clog "Stylish"! But it does the jobs I have asked of it, with minimal scratching and maximum comfort

I have bought these every year for several years. They are my go to clogs for work. They are comfortable and get me through long hours at work. With long enough slacks you don't realize they are clogs. I tried another similar clog by Merrell and the arch was so high it hurt my feet. I'm glad that they didn't change this one!

The wide works well with orthotics after removing the inserts.

These are very comfortable clogs, and Merrell is one of the few companies that actually offers wide width, with a nice broad toe box, but not sloppy in the heel. They look trimmer than many comparable shoes. The color ("bracken") is not the same as what was pictured, though. The picture shows a rich reddish brown, but the shoes are actually a dark brown.

Ordered my reg size dress shoe, itcwas 1/2 size large. Had to exchange but zappos was great and fast in exchange! Have a pair of these that is 7 yrs oldbin brown, now rocking the black!

Comfortable right out of the box! I love these shoes because the footbed is removable and I can insert my orthotics. The shoe is very "sturdy"...sometimes a little too much if my feet are tired. Great arch support and nice, SOFT leather!

In the past couple of weeks I've ordered close to a dozen pairs of shoes from Zappos in varying styles, and nothing fit my short wide feet. Until these Merrells, in Bracken, 7W, arrived today. I popped my orthotics under the insole and they fit my foot like a glove. Five hours later, with most of those hours spent on my feet preparing Thanksgiving dinner, they still feel great. Absolutely no foot fatigue. Love love love these shoes - I am now going to order another pair in black. One slight disappointment: on my computer the shoes appear a dark rust, almost cordovan color. In person they are a deep chocolate brown. It's still a useful and attractive shade, just not quite what I expected. Thank you, Zappos, for making it so easy to order and reorder till I finally find the ones that really fit.

The shoe is very comfortable. However, may need time to break in. Its slightly narrower maybe due to bunion on my foot. It would be more comfortable if the leather was softer

I just bought these to replace a pair that I wore out after many years of service. These are my go-to shoes for everything but dressy occasions. Comfortable, no break-in time, excellent support. I've tried other brands but always come back to these. More colors, please!

I love these shoes! Good arch support and comfortable. My last pair has lasted several years. I like that the insole is easily removed so I can replace it with an orthotic. Thank you Merrell and Zappos!

Very good service, my shoes were to big, Zappos sent out exchange before they received the return package. All shoes run different in sizing, so don't blame Zappos for sizing. Service is what matters. Zappos service is GGREAT.

Out of the box comfort!! ~ I wore out my first pair of these out, it's wonderful to have a brand new pair. I wear these all year in all seasons. In the spring and summer, I wear these shoes everyday in the garden...planting, digging, everything! I have awful feet problems with flat feet, bunions, heel spurs. These are the only shoes I can wear for any length of time. True to size and very soft leather which is an improvement from my last pair. Love these shoes, love Zappos!

In my opinion the Merrell Encore Nova 2 are not made for looks, but yet for comfort.I wear them mainly around the house as slippers. I put them on as soon as I get home, wear them outside too of course. They fit true to size and are super comfortable. These are my second pair. The first lasted years and are still fine.

Merrells are the most comfortable shoes ever. Never stylish but that takes a back seat to day-long comfort. Have been wearing them for years and will continue doing so.

I have been buying these shoes for eight years. They are very comfortable work shoes. Zappos always has them in stock and provides quick delivery. I have been buying through Zappos five years now. I am very satisfied.

Replacing my 5 year old clogs was a good move. I did not realize how much support I had lost. Great to get a new pair and glad they have not changed!

I love these Merrells! (Of course I love ALL my Merrells!) They feel so good, are easy off and on, and offer great support for indoors or out. My husband saw mine and immediately asked for a pair for himself; I got them and he loves them too!

Really comfortable slip ons that stay on! There's just enough lip at the heel to keep you secure. Great footbed that fits even my narrow foot (8-8.5 AA).

I love the Merrell Encore Nova 2 The last pair I had lasted 10 years, I highly recommend them. I am usually a 7½ ordered the 7 and that fit perfectly.
