Really nice looking boot, but it was narrow on my calves which make it bunch up at the ankle. Was hoping for a more tapered look. Worth a shot if you have narrow calves.

The leather felt cheap on these boots. Also the shaft was too big.

I wanted to love these boots, but the calf is huge. I have slender calves, and they looked terrible. People with bigger calves have the option to order wide calf - why isn't there an option for a more fitted calf? I don't like that the bigger the boot size, the bigger the calf/shaft. I'm 5'9, normally wear 9.5 but these fit me in a 9 M. Bigger feet don't always mean thicker calves!! I sent them back, will try the SE Drina model. At least returns are easy to do.

Beautiful but too wide at top of boot, which caused an unattractive gap

I was hoping these would fit. I even sized up a half size but they wouldn’t even zip up my leg. They are not true to size. They run small

I wear a 7.5 M and this was a 7.5 W - my for wouldn't even stuff into the boot. I could tell one of the boots was used before, probably a floor model. The zipper pull had already broken off and there was no packaging and no box, just thrown in a plastic bag. Overall really bad customer experience. The boot itself is completely adorable, too bad the fit was wrong.

I have long feet and regular sized calves for someone of my stature and boots are so hard to find at the right calf width. These just look silly around my legs. Sending them back. I’m 5’9, 140lbs, and wear a size 11 shoe, for reference.

I had to return these boots, I usually wear an 8 wide. These were not very wide.

Fit was fine, just didn't like the leather. It felt papery and thin. Returned.

The leather felt nice, but the fit was totally off. Very narrow in the front but my heel slipped up in the back a bit and the calf is entirely too wide. Bummer

Too small in the toe, to big in the ankle, too tight in the calf. These are just not right for my feet. The leather is nice, but the navy color is so dark that it looks black. It does not work with the navy dresses that I want to wear.

When it comes to boots, I wear B/B+ width shoes and I have muscular calves. The calf cut was perfect, but after wearing these boots only once, I decided to return them. They were tight across the width of the shoe, which is fine; with a slightly wider foot, I knew they would break in in time -- I am used to this. But while the foot width was tight, there was considerable 'slop' in the heel. Really too much space and it gave me blister from movement while walking. Also, the rear zipper started so low at the heel that the zipper guide flap would get wedged. As gorgeous as these boots were, they were made for another foot. Upon calling Zappos, the customer service agent gave me direction to return them. While the boots were not a Wow experience, Zappos' customer service agent was stellar.

I have had these boots in the past and loved them. Unfortunately, these are not the same color as posted - more of a dull light brown without the reddish tint in the picture. Tried to like them but wasn't the color I was looking for.

I wanted to love these boots. However, despite ordering the wide size, they were still way too small on my calves! I have to return them and it makes me sad!

I'm disappointed. to have to return: was looking forward to a brown leather riding boot with a wide toe, but normal calf width. The 9W was bigger than expected in length, but not wide enough. I often go up 1/2 size to accommodate my wide feet due to bunions, but these felt like boats in length and like a standard width, as others reported.

I did not order the wide calf version of this boot but the calf was still far too wide. Also the right show squeaked every time I stepped.
