Great looking boots. The leather is very nice quality, the style is great, and the whiskey color is gorgeous. I really like the zipper up the back. However, I am returning them because they weren't comfortable for me. The sole felt hard, stiff, and thin. I tried adding a more cushy insole, but then there wasn't enough room for my foot. Beautiful boots, but going back to Zappos.

When I received them I was so excited! When I took them out the box the boot didn't look anything like how it was presented online with a well-worn look. No brandishing in the toe box or around the foot of the boot. The calf area was also too wide and the ankle area was alittle loose for my taste so I must return them back to Zappos. When I receive my return payment then I'll see about purchasing something else.

I recently lost 60 lbs and am now weigh 130 and am 5'2". I thought I would try a regular calf boot, but it was still too tight for me to close the zipper. As for the shoe size, I either wear a 6.5 or 7 and the shoe size that fit was 6.5. As for shoe width, sometimes I wear a medium and sometimes I wear a wide. If the calf had fit, I would have kept the wide shoe size. The height of the shaft was fine.

This is a great looking boot! I wear a size 9 in the comfort brands and have a 15" calf at the widest point. I barely got these zipped up and would not be able to tuck anything into them. The foot was also narrow. Unfortunately they didn't work for me. The arch support was excellent.

Bought in a size 7 and found it to be narrow. I'm 5'2" and the shaft hit annoyingly behind my knee. Calf width was ok and the color was nice. Had to return.

Beautiful to look at but the leather shows every scratch so you can't help but notice each time you put them on or take them off. There is also a squeeking noise from the sole when you walk on painted or marble floors. Good enough for the money, but I did expect better.

The boot is a great color, but the leather looks a little cheap. I usually wear a medium with boot, but I ordered this in a wide, and it actually fit well. I had ordered the medium in the past, and it was too narrow in the foot and shaft

I loved that these looked broken in and worn, but when they arrived they were lighter than shown and a very consistent color. That said, love the fit and the angled shape, but had to send them back.

Color is not as rich as in the picture. Boot looks cheap.

Oh I wish these beautiful boots had fit. But the foot area was very narrow and tight - I felt these ran small for my size 7.5. And the top of the boot was much too wide around my 13 and a half inch calf, so I won't be ordering a bigger size because the calf width would be even wider then.

I loved these out of the box, but they were very narrow. I do not usually order wide-sized shoes, but I ordered these in the 8.5 regular and 8.5W and both felt super narrow. The deal breaker however was that the boots were incredibly tight across the top of my foot (I have high arches). They are cute shoes and the leather is really soft, but I lost the feeling in my feet just trying them on.

These boots are gorgeous, however, I wasn't able to zip it beyond the halfway point of my calf. I don't have wide feet but the size 7 1/2 boot was very tight across the top of my foot. I normally wear a size 8 but that was too big. I read the reviews for the wide calf boot but decided against trying that. I really hate to return these.

These are just ok. I purchased these as I wasn't ready to drop $400 on a pair of Frye boots, but wanted something nicer than Steve Madden. The quality of these boots are nice, but I just don't think they're all that comfortable. I am a size 10, always a medium width, and these felt tight. It could be they just need to be broken in, but I felt like they were tight across my whole foot, and lacking in arch support.

I thought the leather looked kind of cheap for $150 boots, I ordered the penny color and it didn't really look like the color in the picture (it was more yellow, I thought, than reddish). I ordered wide and I thought feet and ankles were tight.

Geat looking, nice leather but the calf was to large and I had to send back.

I'm very disappointed in these boots. I ordered the regular width in a size 8, and they were too small and also felt a little tight at the calf (my calves are 15", so not especially wide). I returned them for the 8.5 and they are still too tight at the calf and felt narrow overall. I don't want to order the wide-calf version because I think they would be too big. I'm returning them and will try a different brand. Bummer, because these are very nice looking boots, but something is just off with the fit.

Nice look, although from a side angle it did have a rain boot kind of look. I liked the room at the calf. I did not like that my foot slipped out in the heel. The way the zipper met the heel of the foot was awkward. I am a standard 8½ medium shoe always.

I purchased these boots in black, size 7.5W and they still seemed long and narrow. I don't always have to wear a wide width, it depends on the shoe. But I actually have to get these stretched. The leather looks ok; not top notch but not plasticky. And the overall quality is ok too; about what you can expect for the price range. I do like that the shaft is sturdy (not slouchy) and the cut of the top of the boot is a little angled, which I also really like because it's different. So, not my favorite but they'll serve their purpose...and I'm grateful to Sam Edelman for making cute, stylish shoes in wide widths!

These boots are really cute and I wanted so badly to like them, since it is nearly impossible to find boots in my size of 11-1/2. Unfortunately, the area around the heel is very uncomfortable. Enough so that I have to return them.

Despite reviews, this bottom feels smaller than stated size and narrower. Very disappointing. Zipper at back of ankle cuts into the back of the foot.

Cute boots, wish they worked for me. But the heel fits funny, puts too much pressure on the back of the foot. I'll be returning them!

Ordered the Whiskey, I didn't think it looked like the picture at all. Leather was more a light tan/yellowish brown, not the rich brown pictured. I ordered the wide, since I have wider feet (though normally standard width is fine), but they were far too narrow still.

I read some reviews that this boot fit wide in the calf and narrow in the shoe, but due to all the positive reviews I ordered them anyway. I have a pair of Sam Edelman ankle boots that fit great in 8.5. I was on the fence about ordering 8.5 for these boots but figured I could always put cushions inside. I love the style of the boots but they are in fact very wide in the shaft (for me) and quite narrow in the shoe part (and I have pretty narrow feed). I can't go a size up or down because of this so I have to return them and keep looking.
