Super cute basic boot. However, sizing is very weird. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 these run large. I returned them and ordered a 7 regular width. They were super narrow and tight, I had to return them again. Tried a 7 wide and they finally fit! I'm never a wide! Another thing I did not like is they have a very strong chemical scent and do not smell like leather. They're also made in China which I personally dislike. Next time I will spend a little more on something better quality and made in the USA.

I have athletic legs, calves are 16" around the widest part. These boots are a great color and very comfy but they flare out at the top and were not flattering at all on my leg. I may try ordering the regular calf boot, even though the measurements claim they will not fit a 16" calf because these were supposed to be 16" but were way too big!

Half a size too small, slightly scuffed in a few places, and I'm not loving the almond toe - it feels way too narrow, but maybe that wouldn't bother me so much in a larger size (which is why I'm giving them three stars for comfort, instead of two). For me, they're not worth the price. Love Zappos for free shipping and returns, though!

I loved the look of this boot, but it was not comfortable. I have athletic calves (I'm a runner), but they aren't big... However, these were too tight for me. Also, the zipper is damaged at the heel. The boots also had a plastic smell that was awful. Just not what I had expected for the price. They are going back.

Loved the color and style of the boot, but the width was where I took issue. I have wide feet (not ogre-ish here, but most shoes are a bit snug) and ordered the wide widths, but they were still too narrow. Very disappointing - really wanted to love these, but wouldn't be able to wear them comfortably. Sent them back. :(

I initially ordered a size 7 which was marked as a Eur 36 and too small. I then ordered a 7.5 which was marked as a EUR 37.5 and too big......if I could find a pair that are a true size 7/EUR 37 I would buy them as they were very nice and I really like the color!

Well loved the style...but like many other reviews the whiskey color way off and made that soft leather look cheap. I measured my calves before I bought them. I have 15 in calves and since these boots were 15 1/2 I had no issues with getting them zipped up over skinny jeans or leggings. The medium footbed was extremely narrow and no cushioning in the heal made for a painful walk. They also seamed to clump a bit in the ankle area. Thought about reordering in the W width but because of the color and hardness of the heel and footbed, I had to pass. Too bad because they really looked nice in the picture :-(

These are much more narrow than normal. My feet are a bit narrow to begin with and it is uncomfortably tight around my foot.

A beautiful boot, but that's about it. Not true to size and not so fun if you have large calves.

Color is much lighter than shown and the size is very tight in the foot when I usually wear narrow or medium width. Good quality though.

This is a nice looking shoe...but it is NOT wide! Will have to return it

I love the classic look of these, but they run VERY narrow! I'm always a 8.5 M, but the medium width in these was super tight. I exchanged for a 8.5 W, but even that is tight! I'm still trying to decide if they will stretch out enough to be comfortable. Unfortunately I will probably end up returning them since these weren't cheap.

Love these boots but had to return them because the zippers kept busting on me. So disappointing because they are super cute and They went with everything.

I ordered these boots in black in my normal 7.5 size and while they were nice looking they felt narrow in the toe and my heel came right to the back of the boot. There was an extra flap of material on the inside where my heel sat and it kept rubbing against my heel and poking me. I'm not sure if that was something wrong with my pair or if they are all like that. A lot of the reviews mentioned how soft the leather was, but to me it almost looked like the leather was fake. They did look nice on and they are a bit of a dressier boot that could be worn with a variety of outfits but I'm going to have to return them.

I really wanted to like these boots. The leather is soft and looks to be good quality. However, I usually get a wide width and I found these to still be too narrow. Also the footbed is hard and I do not think these would be comfortable. I will be returning these and looking for something different.

These boots were adorable and fit well. Their toxic smell is what made me return them. I can't risk the smell staying forever even after I've aired it out.

I love the look of these boots, but I completely agree with the reviews regarding the narrow footbed. I typically wear 7 or 7 1/2 and have normal to narrow feet. These boots are uncomfortably tight across the top of my foot. I will be returning them, but I haven't decided if I'll get a different size or a different brand.

I read all the reviews before ordering and most stated they run either true to size or even order a size smaller.. the boots are gorgeous and everything everyone wrote, BUT, for me, they were so tight in my true size (I wear a 6.5), I'm sending them back and I ordered a size 7 cause I love the boots.. just not true to size... Soft leather, stylish.. very pretty..

So disappointed! This was tight and I could barely get my foot in one of the boots. I felt like I was going to break the back in the other one. They look like the perfect black boot but were too small.

I love these boots! They are cute, go with with everything and are comfortable!They are the perfect height and color. Unfortunately the zipper broke on the one boot after only having them for a month, I'm so disappointed, for the price the quality should have been better and now I can't get the zipper up and down.

Very Very narrow in the foot and the calf. I sized up and it still didn't fit well. Also the boot is made for very narrow long feet and thin calves.

I needed tall leather low heeled boots, so I ordered several styles to try from Zappos. This style was the sleekest, most stylish one. However, getting the size right caused many returns! I am usually an 8 1/2 in boots, but ended up keeping the size 8. The 8 1/2 actually curled up at the toe, it looked to long. I also ordered a wide width for comfort with heavier socks, but they are not wide at all. This is called a Wide Calf style with extra stretch gusseting for more width, but I found the boots to be very, very snug at the calf. I am wearing them, but I fear that the zipper amy give out with use this winter. Overall, they are good to wear with tights and skirts, but no way can I fit them over skinny leg jeans! Plus, they look a bit like vinyl...although labeling says leather uppers.

Frustration! Beautiful boots - very narrow foot and tight in the calf! I'm petite, little feet - size 4.5 At 105 pounds, 5 feet, I was so excited to find these boots. Nope - too tall and can't bend my legs, normally regular width is too room heather than making my toes numb. Back they go, will try another brand. Love Zappos return policy ??
