A little tight and no real arch support. Had to send back. They wouldn't take me through a long teaching day. Maybe for someone who doesn't have high arches. Gorgeous, though.

I can never find boots narrow enough for my very narrow, barely size 6 feet. These were plenty narrow almost too much so. I have to return these though after buying them due to the fact that their calf opening was measured as smaller than most other boots. After researching the opening and needing something that did not gape on my rather skinny legs and small calves, these STILL gaped at the outer sides like galoshes/rain boots. Because the outer sides of the boot are taller they reached my knee practically and looked silly. Disappointed that yet another riding boot won't fit me!

The color is way lighter than in the photos. It runs at least 1/2 size smaller. The leather is nice and soft but I'm returning them as they are not comfortable.

Very classy looking black riding boot described by the manufacturer as an "athletic fit". The regular width fit my larger athletic calf very well but the last was too narrow. I don't normally need to wear wide width boots or shoes but had to return these.

I returned these, they're just slightly too big for my 5.5 size feet, and they just didn't feel all that comfortable. They are cute boots though.

Very nicely made BUT not a big fan of the last - toe shape. Find that they were snug and I am usually a size 8. The back zipper was also a little tough.

These boots looked really cool online, but the asymmetrical part that seems fashionable makes that part stick out as if it has extra material, I guess I just did not like the bulkiness it created, I prefer the boot to stick close to my leg.

The color does not resemble the photo. The photo looks like a well oiled luscious leather but the actual leather does not looked as oiled and is a lighter brown. I have very narrow feet and they fit snug so if you have wider feet it may be a problem. I am only 5 ' so have difficulty finding boot lengths that fit me well. This one has a sh sorter shaft so I will keep it, but I will be sure to oil the boots myself to get that richer glow the photo suggests!

These boots were so close but so far! I loved everything about them except the top of the boots are way too wide for my calves. They are a wee bit larger than I expected, but not a deal breaker like the too wide shaft. I am between an 8.5 and 9, so I don't mind the shoe being a little big than small, especially in cooler weather when I wear thicker socks.

I wanted to love these boots but they were too narrow for my feet. My feet are not wide, these are just very narrow shoes. I ordered two sizes - my regular 9½ and also a 9 (I sized down due to other reviews saying they ran large). I could not get the 9 on. The 9½ I could wear with thin socks but was that was not comfortable.

They looked like crap before the season was over and I used a boot tree and conditioned my leather. They didn't peel or crack but it sagged hardcore and got scuffed and the leather started fraying around the accents. Super comfortable though, wish they were sturdier for the price.

Very pretty boot, but the quality of the leather is lacking. The pull-on tabs on the top are made of very thin strap of leather, not sturdy or durable enough for it's intended purpose. Also, the zipper rubbed my heel.

The heel is shorter than I wanted, and the back zip, while attractive, made it impossible to get my foot in.

I really wanted to love these boots. I have been on the hunt for riding boots that don't have buckles, studs or anything like that on them. I am 5'0 tall and my calf circumference is exactly 15". That being said it took me a little while to get these zipped up all the way and once they were it was tight! There would be absolutely no way for me to wear them with leggings let alone skinny jeans. Sadly these will have to go back. I did see that they make a wide calf version but with wide calf versions I'm finding the shaft height also increases and with my short legs that just won't work. Back to square one.

The color and quality of leather wasn't what I expected. It was flat looking. Not rich like the photo, and it looked like synthetic leather. The style was nice, but I had to return it.

I was so looking forward to getting these boots. I thought they were exactly what I was looking for, but alas, it was not too be. First of all, they were a bit narrow in the width. I had read reviews that said they run large, and since I take either a 6 1/2 or 7, I was tempted to get the 6 1/2. My foot is on the wide side, which is why I tend to buy up a half size. I ordered the 7 and they fit okay but slightly tight. I could have lived with it, figuring they would stretch, but I just did not love the boot. The color was not as pictured. In the photo, they look like a really rich, reddish brown, but the color is really more medium brown. I hated the black toe. I had read another review that mentioned this but I did not think the toe would be quite so black. Looked like they were dipped in black shoe polish. The quality of the leather however is very good, though. Oh well, I guess my search for the perfect brown boot continues.

I really wanted to love these boots. I loved them on other people and in pictures - but in real life they didn't measure up for me. The shoe itself felt small and tight while the calf was perfect. Also, I didn't love the look of the transition from the shoe to the boot.

Cute boot, but a little narrow through the toes and the textured bottoms feel funny when walking on my hardwood floors. Not sure if that would make a difference elsewhere but I don't have a wide foot so these are going back sadly.

Because these are very form fitting boots, they were way too narrow me in the footbed and upper thigh, but loose around the ankles. I have a calf size of 14.5 in the widest region and the size 5 ones unfortunately did not work for me with jeans and thigh high socks tucks underneath. I wanted the extra room because of the New England weather. Otherwise, these boots are really beautiful with the soft outer black leather and comfortable inside. They were easy to walk in as well. They looked elegant with the gold colored buttons and zipper in the back, but I'm going to have to return them. I wish Sam Edelman have a wide version they sell. I definitely suggest measure your calf size and check the circumference of each pair of boots you are considering buying so you don't have to go through the hassle of returning them.

This boot ran very small. My daughter wears a size 4 kids or 5 women. This boot was very tight. We had to return them to buy a bigger size. The leather is gorgeous and the lining was very soft. This is a pretty boot but narrow and small and the arch fell in the wrong place.

Was anxious to receive these boots since they were temporarily out-of-stock. Unfortunately, I have to return them as they are too wide on the upper calf - as if they were made for a wider calf than a standard width in this style. I am disappointed as they are gorgeous boots - beautiful, quality leather and design color and comfort.

Boot seems to run narrow. Also, did not like the very dark toe area. Was very soft and pretty color except for the toe. Returning it.

These boots are gorgeous - buttery leather, nice shaft shape, stacked heel - but they bunch at the ankle. On me they were so baggy that it didn't just look bad, it was actually difficult to walk in them. I sent them back, but if you have a stronger ankle you might love them.
