These boots are beautiful. I have wide feet and got the wide, but it was still too tight on my feet. I wish they could have worked.

Beautiful boot with very nice leather. I returned them because they felt narrow and exchanging for a 1/2 size larger would've made them too large in the length. If you have a slightly wide foot I would not recommend, but if you run narrow it will be fine.

Got these for fall and an upcoming trip to Boston. Super cute but I had to struggle to get my foot totally in the boot. I'm 5' and wear an 8.5 and have more muscular calves. After reading the reviews here and on Nordstrom I thought 8.5 m would work. I couldn't have been more wrong. The opening around my calf was super tight, my big toe hit the end of the boot and my toes were squished by how narrow the shoe was. Will exchange for a 9 w with the wide calf option if available. The color also isn't as dark/rich as it seems in the picture, but it isn't pasty like someone else mentioned. Still very cute tho

Good quality materials. The only drawback is that they are a bit narrow and quite tight at true top of the foot.

The leather is amazing and these are really great except they come to my knee (I'm 5'5") and won't zip up all the way. I've never had to wear large calf ones before so I thought that strange. I am going to look at the brand and see if I can find one not so high and will be exchanging these.

I really wanted to love these boots. I'm 5'-4" and wear a size four clothing; I think I'm averagely proportioned. The boots were tight around my calves and would only fit over leggings, not jeans. The tops came to the side of my knees and there was a large gap at the top. I ordered these in an eight.

This boot was the style I was looking for. However, I was a little disappointed in the Cognac color. I was expecting a more red and deeper hue than what arrived. The color is still nice, but more pale than the photo. I will be returning these, unfortunately, but am thinking about trying one of the other colors. Although mentioned that the boot runs narrow in other reviews, I thought I'd try the regular. I will definitely try the wide if I order these again. The size seemed right though. I am 5'3" and the boot stopped just below my knee. They seem to have decent support from the 2 minutes I tried them on. So, I haven't given up hope on owning a pair of these yet.

I liked the color and style but my calves are average and I could not get the zipper up. Walking around with the zipper 3/4th of the way zipped, my heal was slipping, but a thicker sock would probably take care of that. Unfortunately I had to return them.

I wanted to love this boot, but it just didn't work for me. It was too tall--I couldn't bend my leg all the way, and the snap closure at the back dug into my thigh when I was sitting down. If you don't have short legs (I'm 5'4" with short legs for my height), this boot is probably great. I loved the look of it and the buttery feel of the leather.

These boots are gorgeous and look more expensive than their very reasonable price tag. The Whiskey color was a bit lighter than I expected from the pictures but still very nice. I have narrow calves and have a lot of trouble finding boots that don't look ridiculous on me. Even though these leave a bit of a gap they are still flattering. Ideally they could be a couple inches shorter (I'm 5'2"), but they do the trick. They were true to size and comfortable right out of the box.

Seem a wee bit narrow but I haven't worn anything in a while with somewhat of a pointed toe. Otherwise true to size. Love the color and plain but casual elegant look.

Great looking shoe. The width of the shoe was very tight when I first tried them on and wore them. They since have stretched a bit, but are not as roomy as most of my other boots/shoes.

I got these boots for Christmas in my normal size of 8½. They were slightly snug in the heel, I was worried about them rubbing. Exchanged for a 9. The 9 felt huge and the leather was worn in looking - probably from a different piece or area of the hide. I returned them for another 8½ which were extremely tight - and exchanged again for a 9. These fit and felt 100 percent different from the first pair and were a great fit. I love them. I know that these are real leather, which is probably what accounts for the variation.

As a petite woman (4'10") the shaft hit mid-knee and was uncomfortable to bend. But I wanted these to work! Lovely leather.

I had such high hopes for this boot. So much so, that I ordered it in two colors! Sadly, the shaft is too long for me (I'm 5'1 and have a petite frame) and too wide. My search for the perfect boot continues. :-(

Great boot! I'm 5'3" with athletic calves (15"), and these fit snugly but nicely and hit below the knee. The overall style is nice; I love the back zip and the asymmetrical height on the boot.

I had ordered a different boots before (cheaper) but I didn't care for the buckles as they made a noise when I walked. I returned those and got these boots. So far I love them. Very comfortable. It has a darker shade on the front of the boots. Don't know if its intentional or defective, but It didn't bother me. I like the minimal hardware look of the boots.

This is a cute boot, but a bit tight on my calves. I ordered the wide calf version to see if that's any better. Hoping it works!

These are gorgeous, but it took me 3x to find right size. I am always an 8m. Never a wide. But, when my 8M came, it was so painfully narrow. It was too narrow to imagine stretching it out to comfort. So, I ordered an 8W. But, when it came, the width was ok, but it felt an entire size too long! My heel was slipping up with every step. So, I ordered a 7.5W. Width is perfect, and they fit. I actually think I could have fit into a 7W as these are still a hair long, but with socks, it's ok. So, my advice is to order a 1/2 size down and wider than you normally would.

These boots were gorgeous. Great height, gorgeous color. I loved them. Until I put them on. They were comfortable, but the calfs were gigantic. I'm 5'2" about 125 pounds, and ordered an 8½ as I usually wear a 8-9. I ended up returning them because I could not get passed the gaping hole at the top of the boot.

These are beautiful boots. I have a narrow foot, and these fit like a glove (size 8 if that matters!). I don't wear socks with boots, so if there were a little stretching after wear, I could've worn some thin socks. However, apparently I have quite wide calves because I could not even zip these up. I'll try them again when I lose some weight! They are a GREAT price for the quality of the boot. I love them. I have to send them back, though, at least for this season or until I lose weight!

Pretty great boots! Get the "negatives" out of the way first: the heel feels like it's just a wooden block, there's no cushion. I just added a heel cushion from the drug store and they're fine. Also, I don't have a wide food, but these boots seem snug in the metatarsal section of my feet. Other than that, these boots are great. I'm 6ft and they hit about 2 inches below my knees. I wear (and ordered) a size 10, and these felt snug at the tip of the toes, but not tight. I was able to wear them walking around a full evening and my toes felt ok. The color is true to the picture. I love the asymmetry of the top of the shaft. But I especially love the dark-to-light transition from the toe. Lots of compliments! Over all, I don't regret this buy, but the hard heel and the narrow foot are a little off putting. I'd still recommend them to a friend.

I really wanted to love these. The leather is lovely, color is nice and versatile and price is right but I found them too long in the toe (pointy and cowboy-ish) for my taste and the tops were quite wide for my calves. I wanted to wear with dresses and felt like I had little toothpicks sticking out of the tops. Back they go and the search continues...

I really wanted to like these, but they just aren't suited to shorter girls. I'm 5'0" and these hit right under my kneecap at their lowest point, so they totally swallowed my legs. I also don't have very big calves and these were very tight in the calf and in the foot-- no room at all for socks or even thick tights/leggings. Very pretty color though, and high quality construction.
