I was so excited to order these gorgeous boots after reading all the wonderful reviews. I specifically chose them because the review made it seem like they would fit me well - I rarely order shoes online because I would prefer to try on before purchasing. But I thought I would give it a chance again, based on what others experienced. I'm disappointed that the boots don't fit. I have a very average foot - neither narrow nor wide - size seven. I ordered size seven, medium width and I was barely able to get my foot in the boot and zip it up. It was too narrow at the toe, tight on top of my foot and tight around my calf (I've bought "regular" calf boots in the past with no issues). I will be returning these, much as I don't want to do so. Wish me luck finding a boot that fits.

I bought these boots on the recommendation of my sister. The quality of the leather and style were great. Unfortunately, I could not get the zipper all the way up my calf. I'm 5'8 and athletic with "normal" sized calves so I don't usually have an issue with the shaft size. Also, the whiskey color isn't a dark as I expected based on the picture. Thanks to Zappos for the awesome service and easy return process.

These are beautiful boots, just not right for me. I am short, and though I don't have wide calfs and I am not overweight, I have unfortunate knees. They have a little "pad" on the inside of my knee that causes my leg to look chunkier than it is, and appear to turn inward. The asymmetrical design just basically "underlines" this unfortunate part of my biology, so I have to return them. I ordered a 6 1/2 wide, and they fit perfectly otherwise, and would have been very stylish and comfortable. It's a pity.

Love the boots!

Lovely boots, but the foot is very tight - very long for an 8.5, but tight. I ordered 8.5 wide rather than 9 medium and I had much difficulty getting my foot into the foot. The back zipper is great and the shaft was just roomy enough for my jeans, but I will return rather than try to stretch them

Beautiful boots, immediate comfort. Went up a half size. Narrower but good for me because I have a narrow foot. Leather is comfortable, a little thinner so gave 4 stars. Really beautifully styled, will be a great day to day boot.

pretty boot but calf to wide, otherwise a nice looking boot

Beautiful! I usually wear a 9.5-10 and length was great. I have a slight bunion beginning since, well, getting older and babies. I frequently can still wear narrow shoes though. These however are going back because they were too tight across the ball of my foot.

Very nice quality boots for the price. Comfortable and not too tight on the calf.

This is a beautiful, stylish boot! The leather is very soft and buttery. I am normally an 8, but I needed an 8.5 in this shoe.

These boots had a nice look but too high for me and I also found it difficult to zip in the back.

This boot is beautiful. I love the simplicity of the design, the slight darkening at the toe and the heel, the rubberized sole, the understated back zipper; everything about the boot EXCEPT that it isn't a true wide calf. I could barely pull the zipper up, and in the 15 minutes that I wore the pair of boots around my house, they cut a line around the top of my calves. I am in mourning, because I wanted so much to love these, keep these, and own these. To be able to say mine! mine! mine! But alas, back to Zappos they must go. I will be keeping the Naturalizers which were competing to be Mom's favorites.

These are cool. I touch of a pointy toe/cowboy that I usually get. But they are a great color. I also wish the opening was a touch narrower (I have smaller calves). Overall, they are really nice though.

Was hopeful this boot would fit my short, thin legs (I'm 5 '2). Was great along the calf but too wide at the knee. Soft, leather, very comfortable, great looking boot. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

Loved the look of these but they just were not comfortable. I felt like I was walking on my heels.

The style of this boot was just what I was looking for but unfortunately it just seemed too narrow on my foot. I don't have particularly wide feet but the boot was very tight at the fore part of the boot so I am returning them. They seemed good quality.

These boots are pretty gorgeous. They are really soft, supple leather (I got the "whiskey" color) and the zipper/hardware/accents really complete the look. They're SLIGHTLY snug on my 15.5" athletic calves, but I'm confident that with a few wearings these will stretch and little and be perfect. The shoe itself is comfortable... not going for a run any time soon, but comfortable enough to wear all day.

Great looking boot, but not for me. I have a bunion, and even in the wide width, I found the shoe to be too narrow and too long. The shift was also quite snug, as I have athletic calves. Since there isn't a WW option, I won't be trying another pair.

Beautiful leather, classic riding boot style. I just didn't care for the asymmetrical style of the boot shaft. They are very tall; right up to my knee, and not flattering.

I love these boots-I am an 8.5 regular width and they fit like a typical 8.5. The top of the boot is a little fuller than I would like but not a deal breaker. They are great with jeans or leggings and I think they would be nice with a skirt too. I also love the back zipper-I find that my side zip boots tend to scratch the other boot if I cross my legs. That is just a pet peeve I have.

I'm also petite (5'4, 115 lbs) and tend to be a very stable 7.5W in the Felicia flats, so I ordered these in 7.5W. Wanted to love these and was very hopeful since I usually need wide calf boots but for some reason these boots were way longer in front and there was a ton of extra space beyond my toes! I could tell a smaller size wouldn't fit right which was a shame as these were beautiful. Back they go.

I love the look of this boot. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it was too narrow even in the wide width. For round 2, I tried ordering a 1/2 size up, however, it was still too tight. Thank you Zappos for your free returns! If they decide to offer this boot in WW, I'll be first in line.
