The boot fits true to size, the regular calf is quite wide and is great for jeans, the wide calf is extremely wide. I think the leather could be nicer overall and I would love not to have the raised edge and maybe add a little hardware for fun.

Beautiful boot, really wanted to love them...the style and pics make the boot seem as though it would be a fitted look, however, once on, the ankle area is too big, kind of bunches up and almost looks like a rain boot. Very sad that I must send back. Quality is great and leather is so soft and pretty.

Fit true to size in the foot bed; shaft was wider than I was hoping (I have a 13" calf and there was 2" of gapping), and the leather on the shaft seemed cheap. I have multiple pairs of the Sam Edelman booties that I love and was hoping to have similar luck with the knee-high boots but, unfortunately, my search for riding boots must continue!

These boots are so beautiful! Unfortunately, the toes are too natrow for my feet. I even ordered a 'wide' size. I'll need to return them. :o(

These boots are beautiful and very soft but very narrow. I ordered the wide and they are still tight and I don't have extremely wide feet. I am going to send them back. I also ordered the Sebago Nashoba which were very roomy, comfortable and cute. They are also waterproof.

These are a beautiful, soft leather and have a unique asymmetrical shaft top (higher on the outside). If not for the very narrow shaft and narrow foot, I would be keeping them. I have also tried my size in a wide calf and, while the calf works great, the foot is still too narrow.

Very versatile boot and fits well around calf. The snaps tend to pop open on the back which is the reason for not giving it 5 stars.

Cute boot, the fit is nice for larger calves,however a bit too tall for my legs (I'm 5'2")they kept hurting when I went upstairs.Back they go!

The shaft on this booth is very narrow. I had to return and order a larger size in order to get a shaft that just barely zips over my normal size calf. Love the boot and the style! They are comfortable for walking around all day as a college teacher.

I love the color or this boot! But... I don't need the elastic insert in upper calf, so it's bothersome. Also, having trouble getting used to the look of asymmetrical top, which appears to make the shaft circumference appear even wider (since it's too wide for me). Finally broke down and paid the price for Frye Melissa Button boot (Tall Pull-On).

I ordered this in the size 10 M and W -- sadly, neither pair works for me. I am usually a 9.5 shoe size, but when you add in the winter socks (living in Western PA, they are necessary), I move up to a 10. The material is lovely, the shafts seemed as though they would stay up, but unfortunately, with my athletic calves and height, they didn't quite fit my legs. The widest point of the calves hit me too low -- I will try ordering the wide calf option, but I think the cut just might not be right for me.

Love these shoes!! Had such a hard time finding a pair of black leather riding boots but I love the style of these. I have an athletic calf and they fit perfectly. They are a bit tight near my toes, but they will stretch a bit as they are worn in. All in all I would definitely recommend these boots!

This is the second time I've ordered these, so clearly I do love them. The leather is an amazing color and so soft. However, this time I did notice that the calf size is a bit wider than last time, so I love them a little less. My last pair had saggy calves over time, but I got about 3y wear out of them. The leather is so soft!

I loved these boots! Beautiful soft, black leather with very nice liner. My issue was that even though I have large calves, these boots were still too large around my calves. Also, because the zipper is in the back, which I also love, it was uncomfortable on my heel. I really tried to keep these! so beautiful and great price!

I have these boots in both colors. They are very comfortable! They are well made but the soft leather gives it a hint of a more casual / slouch look. I initally wanted a dressy riding boot but I knew how comfortable these were so I ordered them anyways.

I chose this style because it resembled the Frye boots I'd been lusting for but couldn't really afford. For the price these are a steal - they're actually more comfortable than Frye boots and the fact that they come in wide sizes is a huge plus. These are classic staple boots that look good dressed up or down!

These are beautiful boots (although the color is lighter and more camel-colored than the "whiskey" pictured). It fit me fine everywhere *except* in the heel. My heel would slide up and down within the boot, causing my sock to be pulled down around my foot within the boot. Totally annoying. Unfortunate, as these are really very pretty boots and look well made.

These boots looked and felt on the outside just as I expected - very cute and stylish, good quality. The gray leather looks nice. They zip up the back, which felt awkward at the heel (size 7). Maybe I needed half a size larger, not sure. They are full knee height.

I really like these boots - they are clearly well made, and definitely an upgrade from my old pair. The leather is soft, and the soles of boot grip and don't slip, which is a problem that occurs often with boots/booties. My only complaint is that the color is somewhat misleading. I ordered the boots in the Whiskey, and was expecting more of a cognac color, when in person they are more of a dark/chocolate brown. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten them in black, but I still like the ones I ordered. Guess I'll just have to order another pair!

Nice tan fading to a darker toe. I'm returning them because the medium was too narrow for me. Need to know that the shaft (at the top) is pretty slim.

Great boot but in NO WAY is this a wide! So if you have wide feet don't even bother. My feet are just a bit wider and these were super tight! Too bad because they looked great

I love these boots! They come in an 11.5, which is incredibly hard to find. They fit perfect. I wore them the first day shopping all day and they felt great the entire time. They feel a little narrow at first, but will stretch out with the first hour.
