The reason I decided to order these boots over others was the excellent sole. For winters in the upper midwest, it's important to have soles with a solid grip, and these (and the wide-calf version) have been just what I need while still being a good dress boot for work. I usually order a 7-7.5, and but the size 8 in these boots is just right.

They look super cute, but the run small and narrow. There was also a lump in the foot bed of the right boot. I hope that is just an anomaly because I am exchanging for a larger size.

Very stiff leather. Runs small. I wear a 71/2 and ordered an 8. Still a little tight. Really like the design.

Love the leather and quality of the boots. Unfortunately, they do run narrow. I ordered a wide, and they were still tight.

Nice material and fit. I didn't like the asymmetrical top to the boot.

I ordered a wide, but the boots I received seem more like standard width. The calf shaft was wide. The color and texture are lovely.

The leather is beautiful, the boot is very nice looking-I have a 15 inch calf and I tried both the regular and the wide calf boot. Unfortunately the regular was too tight and I'm not one to "see how much it stretches. The wide calf was too big- these boots are also a little unusual in that there is a lot of width at the top of the boot-

Great fit and look great w legging and skinny pants! Not too thick material but not very expensive so decent value. Will get a bunch of wear out of them.

Very comfortable, quality is good, calf is just right, like the styling.

Overall a great classic riding boot. The little button snap on the back keeps coming unbuttoned because of the way I sit at my chair but otherwise no complaints.

I love this boot and have it in the brown color, however the calf on this boot is too tight and could barely zip up! Once I had it zipped, it felt like I was wearing a compression boot and it was very uncomfortable. I'm not sure why the boots would fit so differently? I did try on the wide shaft in a department store, but it was too big and gapped and bagged horribly at the ankles. So very disappointed!!

Stylish and well constructed. My only issue is that the back snap over the zipper comes undone a little too often on its own.

Great boot but beware that the shoe runs narrow.

These were super cute and seemed like nice soft leather, but the wide width was still not wide enough for me. The Naturalizer wide width fit better. Disappointed that I have to return these though.

I wanted to love this boot, but the calf and lower leg was far too wide for me. The leather is lovely.

Shoe store folks tell me that my foot is an 8.5 W so that's what I ordered but they were too narrow. I liked everything else about this boot though, so I will order a double-wide.

These boots were gorgeous but were way too small. The 13s were equivalent to a UK 43 instead of the usual UK45. So sad!

The boots run a little large, i am usually a 9.5 in boots and a 9 fits perfect! Heel is low but comfortable. There's plenty of room in the calf since I have larger sized calfs. I would like to buy them in other colors but you don't have my size in the grey, olive, dark brown or they are much higher priced than the navy ones i just purchased.

I ordered several different styles of tall boots and, although these are nice, I went with another pair. What I did like about these....they have a nice soft leather (not heavy or still, has a "broke in" feel.) I am petite, 5'0" with smaller calves. They fit my calf very well without too much gap/room which has been an issue for me in the past. And hit just below the knee which is great; again an issue with other boots in the past. I do have to agree with other comments about the color; not exactly what I would consider whiskey and is slightly different from the image posted. But still a nice color. My deciding factor to go with another pair came down to comfort. These have a more flat heal and not as much support as the pair I went with. But again, a nice pair of boots.

Beautiful boots but one of them squeaks when I walk

I have only tried these on but they feel great! I have narrow flat feet and I wear a 10.5 so finding the perfect fit almost never happens. The leather is beautiful. I must say that I ordered a 10.5 and an 11 and the size 11 looked like fake leather. The color was so different and they were both labeled whisky. I’m glad the 10.5 fit perfectly because the whisky color was nice and the leather was soft and nice. The heel is a great everyday height and is very stylish. No problem with the zipper or the button. Very clean, polished looking boot....the size 10.5 that is. I’m very happy.

I ordered the Inky Navy but it was just too dark to be distinguishable from a black boot. I already have several pairs of black boots and specifically ordered these because I wanted a dark blue pair, but one that was obviously blue. You could *barely* tell any color difference with these even when placed next to a black boot, then step back a couple of feet and you absolutely cannot tell these are any different. So I will be returning these. The overall quality of the boot is very good for the price, though not quite on par with my other fave brands, Born and Ecco. The leather is nice and soft and the fit was good and zipped up easily. They seemed as though they'd be comfortable. That said, while having the zipper in the back is a cool design/style feature, I could definitely feel the base of the zipper on the back of my heal when I walked around, so not sure if this would become an annoyance over time, or if I'd get used to it. I would definitely consider buying these again if they come out with a color that I am seeking.
