I've had these boots a little over a week and am very pleased. Love the color and style. The fit is good, but tight enough on the instep I won't be able to wear thick socks. Not a deal breaker for sure. Love the zipper up the back; make it much easier to get off and on. Overall I love these boots!

This boots are super cute and comfortable. I wore them walking around NYC all day. I have a narrow calf and these fit perfectly over a pair of jeans. They are definitely worth the splurge.

These boots are really cute and a good value! I have never worn a wide shoe before, but when I got mine in an 8.5 they were really tight and narrow on my foot. I ended up exchanging them for an 8.5 wide and they fit great! I'm very happy with the feel and look. The toe is a bit darker, but I like it. I was a little concerned with the shaft not being wide enough for my calf (my calf measures 15"), but it's perfect. I think they also stretch a bit as you wear them since they're leather. I'm considering purchasing another pair of Sam Edelman boots now. I love these!

This a beautiful boot. I could have spent much more and not had a better boot. I love the height of the shaft. I'm 5'11" and wear an 11 1/2 so it's difficult to find size and style like this.

Love these boots and Zappos! I had to order 4 different sizes to get the right one and Zappos was so helpful. They run tight in the width. I have a narrow foot and had to order the wide. I am either an 8.5 or a 9, I ordered a 9 wide in these. Great boots, very comfortable, stylish and fun to wear! At first Zappos didn't have the 9 wide and they actually found another website I could buy them from, Imagine a company sending you elsewhere?! But they said customer satisfaction is most important. I waited and bought them here, because I love Zappos customer service.

Beautiful grey leather! The leather is very soft and smooth and the color is very neutral. These are comfortable and go with a lot, great wardrobe staple. The only thing I noticed is that they do seem to run a little small; I started out ordering a 4½ but because of my high arches I could not get into them. Zappos was kind enough to send out a 5½ which fit great, although I would say compared to Frye or Dansko they seem to run small. My feet measure about 8¼-8½" for reference.

These boots are beautiful and soft. The Whiskey Color is beautiful and neutral to boot...pardon the pun. They fit true to size in length but they were not wide enough for me. I decided to return for 8-1/2 wide. The toe is almond-shaped so my toes need more wiggle room! Also, not sure if I like the zipper in the back but will see when I receive the wider pair.

Super soft and awesome color! These boots are oh so soft. I love the grey color. They are also very comfortable. I wore them all day and I'm a teacher. Wondering if they make them with a high heel. Great price for such a nice boot.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter who wears a size 5. She's very petite at just under 5' tall and they fit beautifully. They come just below the knee on her. Don't know if it's from her height or not, but she says that when driving or sitting, if the back of her leg rubs the seat, the snap on the back of the boots will come undone but very comfortable boot to wear.

Bought these for my daughter in brown last Christmas and she wanted a black pair this year. She loves them and gets so many compliments anytime she wears them! I couldn't find an 8 medium calf anywhere but Zappos! Free shipping too! I will definitely be ordering again!

These boots are a well made, of quality materials and the price is very reasonable compared to other boots I have looked at. The leather is soft and has a good feel. I have one foot that is difficult to fit for width and so took me a couple tries to get the correct size. They are very comfortable.

I bought these and the Born Pruitt. These have far more style than the Pruitt due to extra detail at the heel and at the top. The whiskey color on these is exactly what I am looking for where as the Pruitt were darker than I was looking for. The Born Pruitt are FAR more comfortable though. I have slightly wide feet and arthritis in my big toes, so I bought the wide width in these to give extra room. If anyone has very wide feet, I can't imagine that even the wide width will be wide enough. They were a little snug on the top of my big toes and where the base of the zipper is in the heel, they were uncomfortable and I can imagine forming a blister very quickly from that poking my heel. These are $60 less than the Born Pruitt and are exactly what I was looking for style-wise, so I am exchanging them to go up a 1/2 size and hope that that will solve the problem in the toes and also the heel. The great thing about both boots was that they fit great in the shaft. I am 5' 5" about 125lbs and muscular calves (14" around). These fit well over skinny jeans & corduroys and also looked good with skirt without looking wide & gapping. Hopefully the 1/2 size up works!

These are beautiful boots. For the price they look great. Unfortunately they are too wide at the top, which is the downfall of many great boots. They are going back.

I purchased the 6 wide because my toes are often crowded in a regular size 6. The boot might be just a little bit big, but overall with some gel insoles (I add them to almost every shoe) and winter socks these boots fit fine and are comfortable. I walk to work and stand a lot so, while these don't have the ankle support of a pair of tennis shoes they are still wearable for a whole day. As far as appearance they are awesome. The leather is beautiful, they don't slouch too much and I love the back zipper.

These are great boots! I have small calves and boots are always hard to find a good fit without the boot being too roomy around my calves. These however, are perfect with my skinny jeans! I love them. Thanks again, Zappos, for tending to my non existent patience and shipping overnight! You never disappoint!

Love these boots! I wasn't sure at first, but after wearing them I was totally sold.I need to wear a flat boot if I plan to walk all day in them. Love this boot! I originally ordered the Penny boot and the Frye Melissa Button Back boot. When I tried both on, they looked identical. However, the Melissa Frye boot was so stiff, I could barely get my foot in. So I went with the Sam Edelman Penny and never looked back! And it was half the price as the Frye boots! Definitely recommend this boot...you won't be disappointed!

Yes please, may I have another! The leather is super soft. The craftsmanship top notch. The color exquisite. Comfort is outstanding. I called Zappos and ordered the same pair in black. I walk about five miles a day. I have been walking in them for a few weeks now and neither my legs nor feet ever feel tired. These are stellar style boots!

So cute! Very happy with these boots. Genuine leather is totally the way to go. The snap closure is a little annoying, but the boot's style makes up for it. It feels a little narrow in the toe box but I can only assume it will stretch with wear. I have owned the boot for a month now and am so happy I splurged!
