These boots are amazing! I was on the lookout for some dark brown riding boots and always thought the Penny boots were so cute! The leather of these boots is super soft and I love the zipper detailing in the back. They are very comfortable as well! I can't wait for the cooler weather so I can wear these boots!

I tried both the black and the whisky. I returned the whisky, as it was a pale pasty color, not the rich color I was hoping for. Kept the black ones as they fit well and looked good. I'm 5'3 with 15.5 Calf; they stretched well and were a good height.

Got these for my girlfriend...she loves them. It did take us a return to get the color she liked best, but Zappos customer service is the best online retail experience you could want and continues to be...Been shopping here for a decade now.

These are great boots. Fit is a little snug over the top of my foot, but not uncomfortable, and I always order boots half size larger. Height is good and heel size fine for my knees. It goes over my jeans due to stretch side panel, but the wide calf was just too wide and after zipping it is comfortable. Good service and good price, fast delivery.

These are beautifully made soft boots. They do run large, so I had to exchange for a half size smaller. Love them.

Love these boots! I have had a black pair for several years and wear them often. They are super comfy and the leather is very soft. You can wear them for hours right of the box! Unfortunately, I had to return this pair. I ordered the 'whiskey' color expecting a reddish brown or cognac color. Instead they were more of a taupe brown--much lighter than the photo and too light for what I was wanting. Makes me sad, because these are awesome boots!

Just got my whiskey Sam Edelman Penny boots- and they are exactly as advertised! I love the color- it's drastically different from the black boots I always order. The zipper on the back makes slipping them on effortless and they have enough adornments without being excessive. I risked putting them on and wearing for a full 9 hour shift on my feet- very comfortable. I ordered the medium width as my calves are slender- perfect! I have Liz Claiborne boots that I rattle around in- these fit nicely. Soft leather, good support and easy wearability out of the box- I can't ask for more! Super value for the money, and arrived in less than 2 days from placing my order. Zappos customer service consistently exceeds every expectation- I'm enormously thrilled.

Great boots. Very comfortable. I ordered a half size larger than normal and they fit perfectly. Love the asymmetrical top and zipper at the back.

I love these boots! And, I love Zappos with their free shipping and free exchange process. My initial size was too large and Zappos exchanged the order with no shipping and the replacement pair fit perfectly. The style is great as it looks good with skirts and also fits under slacks. And, what a great bargain for leather!!

These boots are amazing! My second pair, have them in black and was delighted I could get dark brown from Zappos!! They arrived, I put them on and wore them all day and night! They fit perfectly...if anything they run large. I usually wear a 10 and in this boot I wear a 9.5. I knew this because my black pair are also 9.5. The price at Zappos is the same as Nordstrom.

Love this boot! Super comfortable, I can wear them all day. I love the little details - brass buttons and black shading at the heel and toe. Looking to buy different colors.

I have not been able to wear these as yet due to foot problems. I've only tried them on for fit and they are so far wonderful. I have narrow feet so the running narrow side width are just right.

I love these boots! The leather is super soft and the boots are instantly comfortable! Just yesterday I spent over 4 hours walking through IKEA and my boots never bothered me once! I do have a fairly narrow foot and these fit "just" right. I usually wear an 8 and bought an 8 and they were perfect.

I absolutely love these boots. They are super comfortable. I have a narrow foot but had to get a wide bc they run narrow.

I really like the style of these boots and the fact that they can be dressed up or more casual. Good quality leather and comfortable. It did take me a couple of tries to get the right size. I'm normally a 7.5 or 8 and most people were saying they ran true to size. I had to go up to the 8, personally.

These were lovely boots. Since I'm a 6.5, the calf part of the boot was too tight though....had to return! :(

I love these boots! I have been looking for the right boots for 3 seasons now and never could find any I liked. I had originally ordered them in my regular size 8.5. But I found them to be a little too tight. So I reordered a half a size bigger and they were perfect. I love the color whiskey. They aren't a typical brown. They are lighter, which I love. They are comfortable and the sole is rubber so they aren't slick on hardwood or tiles floors. I would recommend them to anyone.

The toe box in the wide is just right for my medium to wide foot. At 5'2 the top comes right to the bend at my knee. My calf size is 12.5 and I can tuck my jeans inside or wear a thicker sock and still have room. I use Dr. Scholl's thin comfort cushion insoles and this provides me great cushioning without compromising the width. I love the style of these boots!

I have these same boots in the Whiskey color and absolutely love everything about them: the fit, soft leather, color, even though the calf area is a bit wide. I ordered the black thinking I would love them as well, however, the black aren't quite as soft, and they look more like snow boots. The Whiskey color in the exact same boot looks far more fashionable. I guess I will continue wearing the whiskey color with my black outfits.

Loved this boot, especially the olive color. However, the foot bed was really tight in an 8 B. Tried to reorder in wide, but they were sold out. Sad I can't try to get the correct size because I really liked these boots.

I bought these same boots probably two years ago and loved them. They easily can go from casual to dressy and are so comfortable. I love how soft and flexibly the shaft is yet it holds it shape and doesn't look sloppy. When my original pair were looking pretty bad I was hoping they will made these and luckily they did. These are the best boots that I have ever owned. I definitely get my money's worth from them! One difference is my original pair I wore an 8 (Euro size 38) but the new pair was size 8 Euro 37. I ended up needing to order an 8½ with the new ones.
