Excellent boots! I will buy in other colors!

The Zappos experience exceeded my expectations. Product was supposed to ship in 4-5 days and arrived next day. The boot was cute and style was as designed but based on people's reviews I thought it would easily fit over my bigger calves...but it didn't. Not enough stretch. :( Returning and looking for something that will fit.

I purchased this boot after reading many positive reviews on how the beautiful this boot is and how it fits wide calfs. The Penny wide calf actually has a 15" circumference, it's the Penny2 that has a 17" circumference. The boot itself is gorgeous, made of soft leather and looks luxurious. I'm disappointed that the calf was too narrow for my leg. The beauty of this boot still deserves 5 stars and definitely worth trying! I'll try again with the Penny2.

I have a very difficult time finding boots that fit my very athletic calves. I am 5'7" and weigh 123 lbs but with a calf circumference of 15 1/2". I first ordered the Penny wide calf but I looked ridiculous in them, they were bunching at the ankle and all my husband could do was laugh. After reading many reviews I found one that suggested ordering 1/2 a size up from your true size. I figured it couldn't hurt with Zappos easy return policy. They were a perfect fit! I am so happy with my purchase! I went from the 7 1/2 to an 8 and the only place I feel extra room is in the calf area. I can fit over both leggings and jeans. Great boot and price. Totally worth it!

I've only worn these boots about 3 times. They are very comfortable, great looking and good quality-so far. I did have an unfortunate zipper incident just today when I tried to zip them. The zipper separated and I almost couldn't get them off. Once I fixed it I put them back on and continued to wear them. I hope it doesn't happen again.

I ordered these in regular and wide width. I could only zip the regular over my left calf, but not the right. The wide calf were too wide. I love these boots, but neither fit correctly. They also didn't feel like they would be very supportive if I had to wear them all day.

These are awesome! I ordered them (true to size) mainly because I'm obsessed with Joanna Gaines and her knee high brown boots! I walked around Nashville in these my first weekend owning them and they felt great! I wear a thin sock with them, but I don't think I could fit anything like a wool sock. Also - my calves are pretty big (years of walking on the balls of my feet) and these still fit. I actually tried on the widecalf as well and they looked HUGE.

These boots are beautiful and have great attention to detail. However, I'm only '5"1 and the shaft is just a bit too long for me. I could feel the back of the boot hit the backside of my knee when going upstairs. The sole felt comfortable and if they shaft was just an inch or two shorter I definitely would have kept these boots.

I love this boot. It is a well priced riding boot. Very comfy and works well with jeans and dresses. I had an issue with one pair (sole was lifting) and Zappos's replaced them immediately. This is why I always shop here, 1 day shipping is just a huge bonus. I have brown and black. My calves aren't small but I don't need a wide calf fit either and these are perfect.

My daughter loves these but they were narrow and she had to go up a full size.

I absolutely love these boots. Right out of the box they were soft and wearable. I previously wore tall Frye boots but after I broke my pinky toe, I couldn't wear the Frye's comfortably. Bought these and I wore them for an 8 hour day right out of the box. The leather is soft and easy to wear. You can't go wrong with these boots.

I LOVE these boots. I ordered them in the grey frost. I wear them with leggings, ponte pants, dresses, skirts, you name it! They are soft like butter and I like to snap closure over the back zipper. The price in my opinion should have been higher for such great quality. I wear them all day to work as a teacher and the mall. Awesome boots.

Beautiful boot, but I ended up getting a size up. The boots were narrow over the middle of my foot and could only wear a thin sock at my size. Went a size up because I like to wear cozier socks when I wear boots like this in the winter.

I’m so glad I got these boots! They run true to size but slightly narrow, especially in the heel, but they’ve been comfortable and look great with so many different outfits. They feel high quality and like they’re built to last.

These boots are just perfect! I had to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller. I usually wear a size 8, but the size 7 1/2 fits just fine, even with a little heavier boot sock. The leather is soft and supple and the back zipper is exactly what I was wanting for a riding boot. The inside is lined with a very soft suede type of material. I've never been disappointed with the quality of Sam Edelman items. These boots are awesome and a down, three quarter coat I ordered, previously, are both my "go to" items for winter wear.

Good quality, but ran narrow (had to exchange M for a W). True to size, but slightly long (seemed to run 1/2 size larger than other shoes of same brand).

I ordered these boots for my daughter who was looking for a comfortable yet stylish low heel boot in black leather. We saw the Sam Edelman Penny boot in a store but there was no size close to hers to try on. The reviews we read were correct --we ordered a half size larger than her normal shoe size and they fit perfectly. She got black leather and it is so soft. She has worn them all day and walking a lot and no foot pain at all. The heels are wide enough that they do not pinch your heels. These boots are classic and timeless and will last for many years. Very pleased and would recommend highly for comfort and looks. She has an average foot--not skinny or too plump.
