These boots are wonderful. I've had them for about 2 years now - including 2 winters in Boston - and they are still holding up beautifully. The Penny color is gorgeous and the leather is super soft. They look much more expensive than they actually are, and compared to pricier brands like Frye, they're such a steal! I loved them so much that I went on to buy a second pair in black. Overall, these boots are great and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pair of comfortable, stylish, and durable leather boots.

I usually wear a 9 in Clarks shoes but get a 9.5 in winter boots so that I can wear thick socks. This was my first Sam Edelman product so I ordered both sizes. The 9.5 was too big and the 9 was perfect.

Stylish. Comfortable. Such butter soft leather. Get the wide! My index finger and thumb just meet and I felt the wides were just more comfortable. There is only an inch difference. No gap with boot and thigh. Plus there is an elastic divet to stretch to add additional comfort and stretch. I’m usually a regular width but I felt they were too hard to zip. I said eh allow time to stretch. Then I read the reviews and found most got the wide that normally get regular width. Do it. This boot is a must have with jeans, leggings, skirts. They have a rubbery bottom so you’ll be good in ice and snow. Well made. Love Zappos.

Great boots, but too large in calf area.

Fit a little large in calf but love these boots!

Great for the price. Really like the whiskey brown color and slim fit. Nice soft leather. I’m only 5’ tall and the shaft of this boot is almost short. I have about “three fingers” of clearance between my knee cap and top of boot after a few wearings. Footbed is narrow across ball of toe to pinky toe; stretched a little by wearing a thin sock with them. My Sam E. pumps are also tight in the same spot. So thinking this brand may run narrow in the footbed. Normally wear a sz 5.5 or 6 and the 6 fits perfectly in length with nylons. I have a 14” calf in skinny jeans/leggings and the boot is snug but without any zipping up issues. Recommend 1/2 size up and wide width in foot for normal foot sizes.

I love the style and fit of these boots. The quality is excellent for the price. I receive a lot of compliments on them and have been asked by several people if they are Frye. I’m very happy with this purchase.

These boots are just what I'm looking for. How I wish they were wide enough for my foot. I'm between a W and WW. I can wear Cobb Hill W and Munro WW. I won't order any more Sam Edelman shoes as their W is not wide enough for me. sigh!

Great pair for work or fun

I ordered an 8.5w and I'm so glad! I usually don't need a wide, but I read some of the reviews and others thought the boots were narrow. They are narrow, and the wide fit like a standard size. Super cute boots that I can't wait to wear!

Beautiful boots, but my 6 1/2 wide foot was wider than this 6 1/2. Sadly returning them

I don't think these run big at all- def felt true to size and maybe even a little tight in the toe area. I'm returning mine and going up a size.

Love these boots. This is my second pair, I think I like my black ones even better than my last brown pair!

Beautiful boot. Very well made. Alas, it pinched my feet so I had to return it...even though I was sad to do so.

Way too narrow in toe, could not zip and I have small calves.

Just received these boots from Zappos. Love them! Quality, rich-feeling leather. Fit is perfect and feel comfortable from first try-on. They look more expensive than the price would indicate. Very happy with my selection.

Love style and gray color!

The color isn't quite a beautiful as in the picture, but the boot is still well made. However, I was disappointed that the wide was not really wide--so sad for a gal who has bunions.
