I have always ordered 813's and should have not tried to order a cheaper shoe. I wanted a 4 wide and am sure the shoe was only 2 wide. I could not get the shoe on. Also the Velcro strap was short. I should have stayed with the 813's.

I ordered these shoes thinking they would be like my 813 which I absolutely love but you were out in my size. I read the different reviews of thought these would be okay I didn't know they were smaller in width. I ordered mens 577 8 4E. The first time I wore them they seemed a little tight in the arch and I knew that I wouldn't be able to return them because I had worn them. I have them for the last two days hoping they would stretch out and today they seem a little less tight and I have adjusted the shoelaces also. My toes have plenty of wiggle room which is important. I have been wearing New Balance shoes now for over 15 years. They seem to be a very well put together shoe and hold up well. This is first time I have ever do a review.

Best fit ever. Really like the bone color. Arrived earlier than expected.

Great shoe I buy nothing else. I purchase a new pair every year just before or after Christmas. Why change when something works

This is my 5th pair of 577's. They are a good value and hold up well to a 2-3 mile daily walking/hiking program.

I bought these for my dad as they are basically the only shoe he wears. He has issues with finding shoes wide enough for his feet and these fit the bill. They are comfortable and have great support. He was happy to receive another pair!

I've been using the 577's for years but can't anymore. If the top lace hole is used, the way-too-short) tongue doesn't reach the crossover area and allows the upper lace to press into the top of the foot causing dangerous restriction of blood flow into the foot. The laces that came with my 577's were 56" long and when the second (hole from the top) was used, the laces could not be ties without hanging to the floor and dragging behind the walking shoe. Bottom Line: Use the top hole and risk blood clots in the foot or use the next lower hole and risk of tripping on the overhanding tied laces and risking a fall.

Love the price and style of this shoe! Always watch for a sale!

I've ordered the same show several times and am never disappointed. Good fit, great convenience with straps.

577's are replacing my 3.5 year old 928's which are beginning to some signs of wear. Love my 928's. Went with the lower priced 577's so I could afford a second pair of shoes instead of just one. Very similar in fit to my 928's and expect they will be just as comfortable on long walks. Once spring arrives and I can start using the trails again I can get a truer test to see how well they hold up compared to the 928's. Until then I'm limited to the treadmill and walking track at the fitness center.

the shoes fit well and were comfortable 2 months later the shoes hurt my feet I gotten these in the past with no problem I don't get it were quality control

One thing about the several pair of NB shoes I own is that the Velcro strap is not long enough. Maybe I have a higher instep than these shoes were designed for. The Velcro connection is too small and sometimes the flap comes loose. Otherwise, it is a good quality shoe.

I was more than satisfied with my purchase and the comfort of the fit.

I am a big guy with a feet problem 14 double wide was perfect.

I always order New Balance shoes since my wife first found their site. I have unusually sized feet with some problems. Other shoes used to hurt. NB offers me a shoe that somehow accommodates my foot problems. I rely on them every day!

my husband loves his new sneakers, they are very comfortable and look good!

When my foot is in the shoe, both top and bottom straps do not cover all Velcro.The short straps make it harder to fasten and unfasten for an older person.I feel that for the cost, the company should not skimp in the length of the straps.
