I bought these shoes on medical advice to help heal an over-use injury to my heel. Upon arrival, they fit perfectly, were comfortable and provided the support my heel needed. They are easy to remove and replace ans I go through TSA and they look good as business shoes.

I'm 73 & have bad feet. I've worn these for years & they are the ONLY shoes my feet are happy with. I have an indoor pair, an outdoor pair & an older pair for bad weather. Love the hook n loop "laces" & the price is right. God bless L.L. Bean.

I bought these in black for my husband. They probably look better in a medium width, but in the extra wide size he needed, they looked clunky, possibly because of the bulk of the velcro closures. They're being returned.

I know that I can rely on the New Balance shoes to fit, even though I need the maximum width for the size. Yes I can tie shoelaces, but it gets tedious when you have to take shoes on and off a dozen times a day.

The fit and comfort of these shoes is excellent. They are very easy to put on and the closures are a great alternative to shoelaces. In addition, they are very nice looking shoes.

Both my husband and I ordered these, a half size larger than normal, and are very satisfied with them. We especially like the velcro closures as it's much easier for us older folks.

It is comfortable but,IF you have a full foot on top, the strap will be on the short side when you go to close it. The shoe makes the grade in every other aspect and I recommend it to you--just the strap could be better.

I purchased the extra wide walking shoes with velcro closing for my dad. The shoes fit fine but the velcro was 2/3 the fuzzy part so his feet were too wide for the top strap to fasten. I had to hand sew a piece of the 'sticky' side of a piece of velcro on the end of the straps so they would close.

Shopped for these shoes at a local store and found LL Bean to be $30.00. How great is that

All I can say is that my feet really feel pampered,right out of the box at that.If you like your feet try a pair.

Excellent fit and comfort. The feature of the velcro closure is excellent for one who is on in years. Bending to tie laces is avoided. Walking is comfortable and the shoes are light-weight and offer a sense of lightness.

I purchased the New Balance 577 Walking Shoes, Velcro-Closure and found them to fit great. I recomend these shoes for anyone that is looking for a wide pair of shoes as you can purhase them in wide withs.

shoes for my husband who doesn't like to take off his shoes if he has beenworking outdoors. now he doesn't have to worry about tying, untying!!!

I have very wide feet. I have charcot-marie tooth desease. It is very hard for me to find good foot ware. I am getting used to these new sneakers. So far they feel fine. I am glad the sales person told me to get a half size larger than I generally wear.
