These shoes fit well but the arch support is too far back. I read several reviews that talked about how comfortable these shoes are and they are decidedly uncomfortable.
If I had not already exchanged a pair of Sketchers for these I would exchange them for something else. As it is I am going to see if I can put something under the insole so that they don't kill my feet.

This is the 7th or 8th or 9th consecutive pair of New Balance 577 (and predecessor numbers) Velcro sneakers I've had over about 10 years. Haven't found anything even close in quality, comfort or convenience. Don't pass up the opportunity.

working in a hospital for over 30 years I had problems with my left knee. My doctor told me to check with a local chiropractor. I when to their web site and they had a list of shoes they recommend for different things. The first shoe on their list of many was New Balance. Checked walking and ordered a pair. It's only been a little over 2 weeks and I notice an improvement in my walking and less pain in my knee. 5 Stars

Unfortunately needed to return shoes. Shoe itself is comfortable. My husband has a high arch so the velcro straps are way too short. Most of the velcro remains exposted after attempting to close the shoe.

Sorry, NB. This shoe doesn't cut it. Bought the same size as the 928s I've been using and couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. Side by side, this shoe was an inch shorter with a smaller toe box.

Purchased this for my 91 year old Dad. This is his go to shoe. It is easy for him to put on and fasten and it is secure around his foot. He is a young 91 year old - still drives and works. But this shoe is a blessing for him. It isn't as easy to do things as it was 10 years ago.

The shoe was WAY too narrow, it seemed to be marked incorrectly. It was supposed to be a 14 4E but it seemed as narrow as the most narrow size. I have been using size 13 EW from another manufacturer and that one was too tight due to my swollen feet, so I thought I'd try this brand. Had to send them back and was very disappointed.

I purchased these for someone with limited mobility. We ended up with a different pair of New Balance because the straps were too short and narrow, and they were difficult to hold on to. The shoes came in a variety of widths.

I already had a white pair that i was extremely satisfied with and I wanted another pair and chose the color black. They fit very comfortably just like the white pair. I am a senior citizen and like the fact that I do not have to tie with laces.
