These are great walking/running shoes. Even my podiatrist said these were the only shoes he recommends.

I love them. I had been busy and ignored my need for shoes. My feet were hurting and swelling to the point 15 minutes of shopping had me looking for a seat. I ordered these and I am shopping and walking great again. They helped the swelling from worn out old shoes. Zappos' shipping was fantastic and they arrived early!

I have these shoes on right now. In fact, I wear them 90% of the time. I have heel and ankle pain and these are the only shoes that I can wear for extended periods of time and be relatively pain free. They also come in narrow which is hard to find. I order a new pair about every 4 months. I don't know what I would do without them.

I have a really wide foot and neuromas, so getting something wide enough is challenging. This shoe is good without being too loose in the heel. Also has room for me to switch in my orthotics. I bought this shoe in 6.5 4E and I also bought the Brooks Addiction Walker in 7EE and I found them pretty much the same - both nice and supportive. (I also tried the Propet Stability Walker, but the support and quality were not nearly as good as the Brooks or the New Balance.)

These shoes are the best walking support shoe that fit my orthotics well and help my plantar fascia. Especially on 12 hour shifts.

I have short toes, bunions, and very high arches and insteps. These are the only hiking shoes I can wear with thick socks that don't put my little toes to sleep. They replace my old NB587s in 8WW.

I buy these shoes every six months--black for fall and winter, white for spring and summer. I love them. They are very comfortable and fit my wide feet wonderfully (10WW). I wear orthotics, which fit well in these shoes.

I just love these shoes, and I think Zappos is the best! I wouldn't shop for shoes anywhere else. Their customer service is in a league of its own! I chose these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis and they were recommended. I'm also pregnant so my feet are extra wide right now. I had to exchange the first pair I received for a wider width (which this shoe is offered in). Zappos sent me the right size the next day! I needed something that I could walk in without my feet aching. These shoes fit beautifully, are so very comfortable, provide excellent support and stability, and are nice looking. I never thought that I would spend this much money on shoes, but they are worth every penny. If you have foot or heel problems, these shoes are a good choice for walking, shopping, etc.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. With these shoes I can walk for hours and my feet never get tired or sore: impossible with any other shoes I own. I bought a second pair because I was afraid they would discontinue the model before my first pair wore out. I recommend getting them in black because black hides the slightly chunky style very well.

Perfect for my job in a medical office. I wear them every day and when they wear out after a couple years I get pretty much the exact same pair again.

My feet are not freakishly wide, but it took a size 4E before I was comfortable wearing in an aerobics class. These are supposed to be walking shoes, but the tread works well on a carpeted floor (and I have orthodics for additional support).

I need to use a special insole and thick socks because of a foot problem and this shoe accommodates them perfectly. I also have a wide foot and the width is wonderful. Not pretty but the best shoe I've worn in years!

This is an excellent shoe, perfect for those with normal to flat feet. They feel great and are a great price. New Balance has basically abandoned all shoes for high arches, and now only makes corrective shoes, but if you need a corrective shoe like me they are a solid company. For some reason the white mesh is cheaper, though I think the other solid colors are rather 80's fashion. I do wish they had more attractive color options for this very popular shoe.

New Balance WW927 is a good choice if one has heel pain from plantar fasciitis. I can wear them comfortably with or without my orthotic. They are wide enough in the toe box so they also work with my bunion and my hammertoe (geez! where did I get these feet?). In all seriousness, I recommend them if one has these foot conditions. I ordered them in white and they are not as unattractive as I thought they would be.

Wear these shoes as my work shoes only. Offer outstanding support especially following foot surgery. Highly recommended if you work on concrete surfaces.

I have bought these shoes for several years. They are nice and wide in the toe area and narrow in the heel. I wear them several days out fo the week and hold up well.

These shoes are the best so far that I have found for my feet. I have bone spurs in both big toe joints, wear orthotics and I have a size 10D foot. These shoes accommodate orthotics very nicely. They are fairly stiff on the bottom so walking isn't so painful and the toe box is very roomy. I have had an awful time finding anything that looks nice to wear and that feels good; it is very difficult. They don't look too bad with jeans/slacks. As my husband says "I'm not taking you to the Oscars so who cares?!" I would say if you have similar problems with your feet, consider these. I have them in black and white. I wear white to play golf, the only shoe I can do that in!

This shoe has everything I look for in a walking, everyday shoe. The leather upper doesn\'t make my feet sweat. I have narrow feet with a narrow heel and broader toe area, and this shoe fits marvelously. The heel doesn\'t slip at all. The inner sole is well-cushioned, and the outer sole is stable for walking, quick turning, any everyday type of movement. I have been buying the New Balance walking shoes with leather uppers for many years.

This is the third pair that I have purchased. They were recommended by my orthopedist. I have arthritis and bone spurs in my feet and without these shoes I can barely walk. In them I can work and perform my normal functions all day! I strongly recommend this shoe.

Great sneakers. I invested in this pair because I needed a black walking shoe for work and weekends. These fit the bill and most people think they are shoes and not sneakers. They are very comfortable and from about a week into wearing them, my feet were immediately feeling better. I had severe pain on the tops of my feet before this and I believe these sneakers keep my feet where they should be. There's no pinching, pulling or sliding around at all; plenty of room in the toe as well. They are more of a fall winter sneaker as they do not breathe like some of the lighter sneakers. I highly recommend this product and they are worth the steep price.
