I was extremely disappointed in this shoe. I did not realize it was suede and after trying to clean a drop of water found that a huge spot was formed. I wore them on a long trip and am embarrassed every where I go. If I had another pair of shoes with me and a box to return these I would have mailed them back immediately. As it is, I am stuck with them. Would not recommend them for anything. I have bought this brand and style previously and been very satisfied - not this time.

I ordered two pairs of walking shoes from Zappos. Given the same-condition-as-received return policy, I wasn't able to give them a real world try. I tried each in the house. The Brooks were too narrow through the toes, the NB 927 had good toe room and seemed workable. I decided they would do so I started wearing them out on errands, short walks and assumed they were doing okay getting broken in...then I wore them one whole day and they crippled me. Wearing them caused pain in my ankles -- right especially, caused pain on edge of my foot -- they put me to limping. Taking them off, my feet felt fine. Tried wearing them some more another day and it wasn't any better. Waste of money. The only foot challenge I thought I had was width, but after this?

I didn't like the way these shoes feel. The leather on these shoes is extremely stiff. Actually some of the cheaper New balance shoes fit and fell better.

These have to be just about the most uncomfortable shoes out there! The arch support is too far to the back of the shoe and actually hurts, they're heavy with no cushioning to speak of. You have to buy them a size larger than you actually wear. I can't imagine what kind of horrible shoes the other people who gave this such rave reviews were wearing. These shoes can't even come close to competing with Brooks Addiction walkers. If you suffer from plantar fascitis as I do, you should try something else! Besides, these are about the ugliest shoes on the market which wouldn't matter one whit if they were comfortable. I couldn't have been more disappointed and feel like I wasted my money!

These look like orthopedic shoes and they are not even comfortable. The footbed is not cushioned at all. Asics are much better.
