This is my second pair of this style and I own other New Balance shoes. Wonderful shoe. My ankles do not turn in these shoes so my ankles, knees and hip joints are great at the end of a long day. Great for long walks. I always wear them to travel when there will be lots of walking.

I own the white leather version and ordered the nubuck. These are wonderful walkers, no pressure points, excellent fit. I use the 3/4 Spenco soft arch cushions on top of the innersole for extra support for my wide flat feet. I measure a 9 wide and wear the same.

Great shoe! Wore Style 925 for daily walking and after trying the 927 with velcro closures decided to try the lace up. My feet are extremely narrow and thin, and lace ups are better for me. This shoe runs a bit shorter as well as the 925 did. I normally wear a 10.5 AA, but needed an 11 AA in this model. Great comfort shoe and has room for my orthotics, good stability around ankles, and can wear it most all day!.

I love these shoes for walking. They are so comfortable, and they come in a wide width which I need. I love Zappos even more. What a company! My shoes were reasonably priced, and they came in just a few days.

Good support all around and the sole is good and substantial. The collar around the ankle needs a little break-in before it stops rubbing. The best thing about these shoes however, is the great Zappos service!

This shoe does what it says it will offers support and stabilization. SL-2 fit has deeper toe box and narrower heel than shoes made on the SL-1. Will accommodate a variety of socks, along with my usually painful feet. The 8.5 D worked great for me. In other shoes I wear an 8, either medium or wide depending on shoe. Tested out the older 926, which the 927 replaced and the 927 feels superior in materials, cushion and generally higher quality. Put the 927 on and began wearing without any blisters, nor break in period. Wore right away with lots of walking and was in long airport lines with no discomfort. Might look a bit clunky, but if comfort and foot stability is your priority then can't go wrong with this shoe. The roll bar makes a huge difference in reducing over-pronation and making for more stability. Tried other quality brands, but New Balance was the best for my feet that are prone to over-pronation and need stability. Ordered about 5pm at night and the shoes arrived by 10:30am the next day! Wow! We'll come back to Zappos and buy another of the New Balance shoes with the SL-2 last in a mesh for variety. Thanks Zappos, good price, great delivery and terrific customer service.

After my Brooks Glycerins with their narrow toe box seemingly gave me a neuroma, I had to stop wearing them. I searched every store in our small town's area looking for a wide pair of sneakers that wouldn't squeeze or put pressure on my foot at all. I basically needed a shoe that would cover my foot without hurting. Searching online for a shoe appropriate for people with neuromas, I happened upon the New Balance 927. I've never spent this much on a shoe before, but desperate times call for desperate measures! I had never ordered shoes online before either, knowing that, like most people, I really had to try them on before committing. Although my foot measures a 7 by the tool in my podiatrist's office, I've always worn an 8 to 9, depending on the shoe. Although I was hesitant, I decided to try Zappos since they had the shoe I wanted and promised free VIP shipping and a very easy return experience. I wound up trying three pairs and finally settled on the 8.5, extra wide. They're a little loose on me, but loose is what I need at this point. Without the neuroma, I could have gone with just the regular wide. They're also very comfortable! I'd have liked a little color, as they are starkly white, but overall I'm very happy with my buy, as well as with the experience shopping at Zappos. I received my refunds for the two returned pairs promptly, and now have a pair of sneakers that accommodate my ailing foot. Thanks Zappos! I will certainly shop for my shoes here again!

These are great shoes. I love them. They are very comfy, as always Zappos ships quick! I bought them in white, black and tan!

I gave my mom this shoes as a present for Mother's Day and she loves them. She wears them for work and since she has to walk most of her work day, they are comfortable. My mom had a heel spur months ago and after getting a treatment was recommended by the podiatrist to wear comfortable shoes in order to relieve her foot from putting too much pressure on it. These shoes do the work, feel cushioned and gives the foot the support needed to ease the pressure. I will get another pair for her as soon as she wears these ones down.

I have a very narrow foot so I was very happy to find 2A sneakers. I\'ll be ordering again.

I recently ordered New Balance WW927. Had previously been wearing the man's version on the same shoe to get the extra width. Because of the kind assistance of a Zappos Customer Service person, who suggested I try the woman's version in a D or EE because it is lighter in weight. I did so and found the woman's EE was perfect, light yet very supportive. I wear orthotics and Swede-o supports on both feet and so they fit in this model perfectly and give me great support. I would recommend this model for anyone, especially someone who had foot problems. Roll bar, absorb and all give excellent support. They also have them in beige and black which is helpful when you cannot wear dressy shoes anymore with good dress clothing. Heel style is good because it does not stick out making it look bulky.

These shoes are perfect for my wide, difficult-to-fit feet. They are supportive and comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box. Although I would have preferred a darker tan color or maybe a bit of contrasting color, these 927s look good with jeans and khakis. I recommend them highly.

I wanted to try a black pair of shoes for work so they would not be as noticeable as white shoes with dress clothes (I have to wear supportive shoes with my orthotics). These shoes were very comfortable and very true to size. The only problem that I noticed compared to other shoes that I have is that this pair is very high and snug around the ankle.

I have worn New Balance walking shoes for the last 8-10 years. When I began walking daily, I wanted a shoe that had good support and also, came in a narrow width. My first pair of 925\'s were excellent for my over- pronation and arthritic knees. I have since bought nothing but New Balance athletic shoes. Although I was okay with the 926\'s and 927\'s my absolute favorites were the 925\'s which had the most support on the sides for my feet. My favorite quality in these shoes is the narrow width, which is next to impossible to find. It also helps that they are made in the U.S. I wear custom orthotics in them so arch support is not an issue for me.

WW927 style works almost as well for my short, wide feet as WW926 (discontinued), my original favorite. The tan pair are actually very light colored, close to beige. More choices of colors from New Balance would be great, perhaps a darker rich brown.

These are very comfortable, great arch support, feel really stable and no sore spots (and I\'ve got wide feet)!

Because I have relatively short (size 8) but wide (EE) feet, it is hard to find shoes that fit well. New Balance has sport shoes that are wide-foot friendly, and these shoes are no exception. They are comfortable out of the box, and do not slip in the heel, as many sport shoes do. I am very pleased with these shoes, and extremely pleased with Zappos fast and friendly service!

My foot doctor recommended New Balance. There were so many styles. I asked the Zappos staff to make some recommendations for my needs. They gave me several options, and this shoe is great. Runs true to size, especially if ordering a wide. I still would have preferred more arch support, but it still does the job!

I walk every day and can say that these shoes are the best I've ever worn. I bought a D width this time and am very glad I did! It cured my toe cramp and made my walk a lot more enjoyable! The fit is true, but if you have a foot that tends to be on the wide side, I would recommend the D width. All around great shoe!

I purchased these shoes for walking in Europe. I started having problems with pronating, which affected my one leg. These shoes really did the trick. They keep my feet in the proper position, and I never have any problems after walking long distances. Great shoe for walking and workouts. I wear them to the gym as well.

Zappos can't be beat! If you need a stable shoe, this is great. Not the most attractive shoe, but looks nice with pants. My custom orthotics fit well.

I really like the new 927. It is a great fit with good support, still has the SL 2 last for M/W feet and great toe room, but the new shape is much better looking. I need support and comfort for doing much walking and this shoe fits the bill. I also like Zappos policies and will be sure to buy more shoes here. Zappos has hard to find styles/brands and their shipping/returns are fantastic.

I had bunion surgery on both feet years ago. Unsuccessful doesn't describe the results! I have pain in my feet all the time. I was tired of wearing shoes that looked neither like a left or a right shoe. Imagine what I thought when I discovered this shoe at Zappos! They arrived the very next day and felt like a glove. The black and the white NB927 are not made of the same leather as the tan. They are not as comfortable so I ordered another tan, just to have a nice clean weekend shoe. Now, about my friends at Zappos!!!! The service these caring people give is unmeasurable! I also love their commercials on TV. GO ZAPPOS!!!

I have found this model of NB Last S-2 to work for my foot, which has a narrow ankle and wide forefoot. This model comes in beige suede, thus, is not quite as athletic looking and works better with dressier casual clothes.

I was referred to your store by my podiatrist. I chose the New Balance 927 from the description and the fact that it was all leather, which is something I had been looking for in shoes. They are extremely comfortable, hold my foot and ankle in place, do not put pressure on my bunion on my big toe, and are light-weight enough that I do not feel as though I am wearing lead shoes at the end of the day. They look nice and clean up well.
