Oh my gosh! These shoes are incredible. I have awful feet, and lived in NB 811s for years. Unfortunately 811s are no longer made, but this shoe is even better. It's so cushy, yet has excellent arch support. I work in a hospital and I'm on my feet all day. This shoe has changed my life and believe me, I've tried many shoes, before finding this one. It even looks nice for a clunky shoe. Thank you New Balance and Zappos.

I have worn these shoes for years, per my podiatrist's suggestion, and they feel really good on my feet. I purchase my insoles, to replace the factory ones, and I get many miles out of these shoes. They have a wide toe box, fit snug to the heel and have good arch support with replacement insoles. I wear a wide and have high arches.

Great shoes! I have a nerve problem in my heel and these shoes help me walk with the least amount of pain. I love them and I bought 3 pairs.

I learned about this shoe on another web site. They were recommended for my supination problem with my feet. I also have arthritis in my toes. These shoes feel like slippers on my feet! I am very happy with them. I also love Zappos! I live in a rural area with very limited shopping. I can browse and read comments and feel pretty confident when I order shoes. I did have to return a pair once, and it couldn't have been easier. Thank you Zappos!

Every other pair of shoes I currently own make my arch hurt. I reach for these every day, and will be ordering a black pair.

I wear a 10N and these are my go to shoes. I walk out of an old pair and into a new pair without a problem. I thank Zappos for carrying narrows!

This shoe runs very large and the toe box is very roomy. I had to return them because my regular size was too large.

I love this shoe, it's the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I use it as a work shoe, because we're required to wear black leather shoes. But I wear it about everywhere as a casual shoe with jeans, too. I couldn't find it anywhere else but Zappos with the extra wide width.

I love these shoes! thank you, Zappos, for the wonderful customer support and shopping ease. These shoes have moderate arch support, but I am comparing that to my custom orthotic insoles.

I have these same exact shoes in white and they fit great. When I received the black ones they were tight in the toe area. Unfortunately I will be returning them.

This is now the only shoe that I can wear. I like that it comes in 3 colors and the mesh was great for summer. This shoe gives me ankle support and motion control and also protects my arthritic big toe from bending or throwing me over. It can also hold a 1/2 inch clearly adjustable heel lift, which will prevent me from having to lift my shoe externally, for now. I am thrilled. I don't really know how to gauge arch support because I don't need a lot, but it is not too much which can be a bad thing for me. So, I'll put moderate.

This is a great walking shoe. I have only ever bought NB shoes for walking, the gym, and daily use around the house, and I highly recommend this shoe. Plus getting it from Zappos just adds to the good experience.

I've had this shoe over a year in black and find it the most comfortable shoe ever. It has a removable footbed for my orthotics and I waterproofed it to wear in rainy weather. It has held up so well after moderate to light wear, that now I intend to buy it in white to go better with summer shorts.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. I don't bother trying other styles anymore. I just buy these over and over. And, as always, Zappos service is excellent.

This shoe, in tan, is good looking and very comfortable. Bunions require me to wear wide shoes, and this pair (D width) fits well, although a bit wide in the heel. I tried the same shoe in white, but for some reason the fit was not as comfortable over my bunions, and the shoe was not as attractive.

My Dr. recommended New Balance for my feet. I wear orthotics and they fit in well. The shoe gives total support.

I have peripheral neuropathy (numb feet) which are extremely sensitive to any pressure (I know, makes no sense). I ran a marathon and destroyed the nerves - this shoe is awesome, very supportive and comfortable. New Balance makes a nice wide shoe. Padding is adequate although I needed to add a gel insole for more padding - good news shoes have enough depth to comfortably accommodate the insole. I plan to buy these in black too.

I love this shoe. It is one of the best choices that I have made to deal with my painful plantar fasciitis, and wide feet. They are extremely comfortable, and look much better in person than they do in the picture. Zappos delivery time was great, as usual!

These shoes are nice to wear when you want comfort without looking like you have white gym shoes on. They don't feel as cushiony as gym shoes and I don't know why but I wear these a lot. You will need to put a protective spray on them, they look like light colored suede and will stain if not protected. They felt small at first but now feel normal size.

I love the wide toe space in this shoe, finally my toes are comfortable as well as the fit to the rest of my foot and also most attractive, Easy to keep clean goes with most anything. A great buy. Hooray to New Balance once more.

These shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. I walk 3 miles each weekday morning and usually have to break new shoes in- not these. I do wish they weighed a liitle less and were less bulky for travel. I guess we cannot have everything.
