Fit me true to size. I ordered a half-size bigger as well, but they were a half size too big. Beluga color is much darker than these pictures show. Think charcoal, not silvery.

Great shoe, but definitely runs at least a half size small. I'm 45 and have worn a 10 for well over 30 years. I've never had a shoe marked 10 crunch my toes like these do. Just to be fair, I made sure to wear thin socks and trim my toenails. Still, my toes mashed against the front end. I wore them several few times before giving up, so I didn't think I could return them. I may buy the same shoe again, but a 10.5 or 11, since I want to walk in the winter with thicker socks (but I'll still keep my toenails trimmed). Other than running small, I would say these shoes are outstandingly comfortable, supportive, and ideal for walking. At the moment, I walk moderately -- three miles at a brisk pace 4-5 times a week -- and I want a shoe that fits well and will last a couple years.

These were a perfect fit for my wide-in-front feet. They are very pretty, especially with jeans. I work at a library and am on my feet a lot, so comfort and arch support are very important. The insoles came out and custom orthotic insoles fit right in. Unfortunately, the shoes only lasted for 8 months before the surface components started to peel off and the soles started to come unglued from the shoes. Soles were still in good shape! I notice that the price has gone up! I suspect some quality control issues at the factory. Also, I gave them 2 stars on overall, since I did not get my money's worth out of them, with 85% indoor wear! The review form above will not allow me to remove two stars!

Do you trust the fashion sense of someone who used the term "business tactical?" Let's face it, approach / light hiking shoes are ugly but useful. I accept that trade-off and have worn Merrells for years. These run small - after wearing 9.5 US in earlier versions of the Chameleons, I went with a size 10 for this shoe. The sole on the Moab looks like it will perform better than the circles on current and past Chameleons, which have gotten slippery in icy conditions for me after some wear.

Great shoe - very comfortable and the soles have great traction. I bought these to replace an old set of Merrells (about 10 years old). Love these for casual days running errands when it's rainy or slushy. Also great when traveling if it's raining and you don't want to be in wet shoes all day.

Fantastic shoes! Bought these for a snowy East Coast winter, and they've kept my feet dry ever since. I do agree with some of the other reviewers though, in that the shoelaces are a little short for the shoe. I will be looking into replacing the laces. You shouldn't let that be a dealbreaker though. These are great shoes.

These were a little stiffer than my last pair of Salomons. Other than that, they fit great (I'm usually 10.5W). I haven't tested the waterproofing / GTX yet, but it's snowy out and my feet have stayed dry and warm. On smooth surfaces, they are actually quite slippery. I look forward to trying them out on trails this summer.

Great hiking shoes. Good in dry and wet/snow. My feet stayed very dry in the wet snow. The only issue I have with the Merrell Moab line of shoes is that the sole tends to wear out fairly quickly. It is frustrating since the shoes are still good and they are expensive.

These are great shoes for hiking, but I'm a little disappointed as to their comfort on asphalt. Do not plan on having comfy feet after extended walks on asphalt. I took them to SF and ended up having to buy a new pair of walking shoes on day 2 and it took a few days for my feet to recover.

Very good product. The only negative is that the arch support is not as good as I'd expect from a product that costs this much.

I just came back from a trip to Europe, using these shoes as my main walking shoes. Although they're not exactly the most "European looking" shoes out there (which is to say, you're going to stick out), they were comfortable enough for walking 8+ hours over a two-week period, over both cobblestone and dirt.

I needed a waterproof light hiker in a wide and these fit the criteria. I wore these out of the box for a trip to the Carolinas and Eastern Tennessee. I brought an extra pair of trail runners with me but never used them. I will by another soon just to have in case they change the design or discontinue.

My husband loved the looks of this shoe. He ordered the size he normally wears, but this shoe was too small.

Shoe pinched where toes start, when you roll up onto the balls of your feet. The material up there is too bulky and too stiff, and it digs into your foot right where your toes start.
Otherwise, its a good shoe. My brother has same one and it doesnt do this to him. I got the Wide version (so did he) but he is smaller size (he is size 10) I am size 12.

Merrell's are a great shoe. These are no exceptions. However, my husband ordered his regular size of 8 1/2, his largest toe hit the end. So he ordered half size up and seem to be great. He appreciates the wide width.

Fit and comfort are excellent in this shoe, and they really are waterproof. They tend to be a little warm at times, but not unbearable.
After 8 months of moderate use, the sole started to separate from the upper; I think that this might just be a fluke.
I'd highly recommend this shoe as a hiker or a casual shoe.

Good shoe, can handle a rough hike. Would go a 1/2 size larger then you would think. The insert is not the greatest, not a problem for me I use other inserts than default.

As I planned for a trip to the Smokeys, I searched the net for hiking shoes. I was looking for one that had a good grip, water-proof and durable. I came across Merell Moab on Zappos.com. I have always had good experience with Zappos and so I made the purchase. The item arrived promptly, in fact through overnight shipping. Zappos upgraded my shipping for free! I bought the shoes in October and did not wear it until the 23rd of Dec. This is something I should have thought of before because there was something faulty with the shoe fitting. The inner part of the right shoe had a bump that pressed against the bone of my right large toe. I first thought it was the due to the fact the shoe was new. I had an excellent trip to the Smokeys. The shoes were great, durable and very comfortable expect the fact the right shoe was not that comfortable. I contacted Zappos after returning from my trip. I was surprised to hear that I could still return the shoes. I got a replacement promptly. This one does not have that annoying bump and so it is comfortable. I really like this shoe for its excellent fit and comfort. However, I give it 4 stars because the laces are too smooth and they come undone quite easily. I have to tie the laces at least twice a day. But other than that, I will recommend the shoes to anymore. With Zappos, you can be confident you will get a great product and service. I am very pleased!

Very comfortable shoe. Arch higher than normal, but has removable insert. Laces don't stay tied, must use double knot and pull tight. Overall, very comfortable, good traction, I like the looks.

Do not ignore all the reviews about Merrell's running a 1/2 size small. I even tried these on in a store and thought my normal size fit. Well, I got them delivered and sure enough I needed a 1/2 size larger. Love the shoes, fit great right away, my first pair of Merrell's after my wife has had them for years. Only had 'em for a month or so. Can't say anything about durability, but look, fit and comfort are excellent.

This is my second pair of Merrells. The first held up marvelously, so I have high hopes for these. They seem a bit stiffer than the pair I had before, but still comfortable. I wear a 10.5, but had to get these in 11.

Overall, great comfortable shoe. The only problem we had was rubber on toe of shoe was not glued on very well. Sent back one pair when it started coming apart. The replacement pair, does not seem to be glued very good either. If Merrell could get this problem fixed it would be a 5 star product.

After reading other reviews, I ordered a pair a half size larger than I normally wear. I\'m glad I did. They still feel a little tight with lightweight socks. They are a little hot as they don\'t breathe as well as advertised.

Merrell makes an awesome shoe, only not every style I tried fit as well as this one. The Moab Gore-Tex felt true to size and width. It has good arch support and perfectly fits my need for a rugged, lightweight hiker. These shoes could have a little more cushion, however. Zappos always allows me to try sizes and styles to get the shoes that fit right. Zappos customer service is incredible! Thanks.
