Fit was great. Very comfortable and plenty wide, especially considering I have terrible bunions. Alredy hiked in them for 2 weeks. Sweat/Heat was not a problem, as I chose these gortex over the more "breatheable" Merrell's. Very pleased with them. This is my 2nd and not last pair of Merrell's.

I don't have huge feet (9), but they are wide, and it's hard to find shoes that feel good right out of the box. These felt good the moment I put them on, in fact, the most comfortable shoes right out of the box that I've ever had. I try to get in a 3 mile walk every day, but with plantar fasciitis in one foot and capsulitis under the toes of the other, my feet are killing me by the conclusion. Not with these shoes, and they seem to get better as a wear them (about a week now). The removable inserts are great, with my only complaint being that I wish they had more arch support. Walking through wet grass, my feet remained dry, though not perfectly dry (so I wonder if the extra money for Gore-tex was worth it over just the "waterproof" version). Overall, a great shoe.

This is my fourth pair of Merrell shoes. I have a really wide foot and they have always seemed to fit just right. Every pair I have owned has held up great! I have worn out the grip on all of them but the shoe still holds up! I love this new shoe because it is extremely comfortable and fits my wide foot great. The only complaint I have with it is that it has absolutely not grip on wet surfaces. I have almost done a feet come out from under you, cartoon slip and fall several times before I learned how to walk with them on wet surfaces. It is extremely hard to find shoes to fit my foot since it is so wide. I had a pair of custom boots made and they measured me as a FF width. I did not even know it went that high. But these shoes have always fit comfortably and seem to keep my foot from over lapping the sides (extremely hard to find). So if you still have good balance and a wide foot, I would definitely recommend these shoes or really any shoe Merrell makes!

These are extremely comfortable shoes. I got them for hiking, but now I wear them all the time, every day. Wish I'd known about these years ago.

An excellent shoe! I normally wear a New Balance 4e and use an orthotic insert and the wide shoe fit perfectly. It is a rugged shoe for city or trail, it feels and looks great. The Gore-Tex XCR makes the shoe a little hot for summer days, but it's not as bad as regular gore which feels like a ziplock bag on my feet.

These are excellent shoes, however my normal size (12) was too small, and there is no 12½, so I had to go up to 13. They seem to fit just fine now. These shoes have served me well on many hiking trips, however, they are somewhat uncomfortable around the top part where your toes bend. That could probably be corrected by wearing thicker socks (I wear regular everyday socks with these).

These shoes are super comfortable, fit was perfect, Merrells are always good, the only problem is that the laces keep coming un done. I had to replace them with regular laces.

This is my second pair of Moab Gore-Tex shoes from Merrell and recommend them to anyone interested in a "outdoor" shoe with style. They are rugged yet work well in casual situations.

I tried Merrell's before and felt that the heel did not have enough support. With the current insole and Vibram soles I am very pleased with these shoes. I have a very wide foot, and the wide version fits me well. I have been wearing Keen's and find these more comfortable.

I wore these shoes for over a year for everything from day to day use to hiking to trail running. The durability was great and I loved that they kept my feet dry without sweating. I would still be wearing them but the sole at the heel wore through. They fit true to size and width. The problem is I can't find the color I had in my size anywhere. These hiking boots are great. I have now put about 100 miles of hilly Vermont hiking in them and they have held up. I have wide feet so my choices are always limited. They took about 30 miles to break in but now I am totally pain free walking in them. I would recommend these shoes. The one problem is that they are not waterproof.

So far they perform as advertised. I had to return a pair of North Face XCR ,the sole was separating. Merrell's are waterproof, comfortable and still preforming. As good as they are I think Zappos is even better. No hassle, no questions, no charge return worked as advertised. They have earned my business!

Excellent shoe, needs no breaking in. The wide width is very wide, had to order half size smaller. Excellent arch support for people with problem feet.

Merrell shoes always fit my feet. They might not fit yours but they do mine for at least 20 years running (not the same pair). Break them in and they are the only shoe I don't think about taking off right away. I shed my other shoes as soon as I get home; these are great for me. Perfect, true fit. Between moderate and excellent arch support.

This is the first pair of shoes that I have purchased and fully owned from Zappos. They are the greatest. Initially I was concerned with the comfort (as it was a little tight) but after a day they just fit me like a glove. These are the best fitting shoes that I have worn, ever. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone is interested. I am certain that you will like them.

Bought these shoes for my husband for more traction in the winter, but I also wanted a shoe with good support. I read other reviews about the shoe feeling half size smaller, and ordered a half size larger than his normal size. The shoe is perfect in every way. It is stylish, comfortable and provides the traction my husband needed. Would highly recommend this shoe.

Bought these for my husband for a winter trip to Italy. He loves them! No breaking in, dry and warm. He is very picky and is notorious for wearing shoes once, finding them uncomfortable and then they never get worn again, not these! They do run a size smaller, but we saw that on reviews and ordered up a size.

Great shoes! They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. This is my second pair. The first pair is 2 years old and is still in great shape. I bought the second pair just to have a different color. They are comfortable and last forever.

I bought these for my husband. He wears them every day now that it's wet and cold out kind of like "winter sneakers". He does light hiking a couple of times a week and they are lightweight, comfortable, waterproof, have great traction and a vibram sole and they are very nice looking. He has had them for two months and worn them every day and they look new. I highly recommend them. The only negative is they seem to retain foot odor, ugh, but other than that I give them 5 stars.

I originally ordered size 10.5 because that is the size that I usually wear, but they were too small and gave me blisters. I reordered the size 11 and they are a perfect fit. I did a 2 mile walk today with no discomfort.

My husband now wears these shoes every day and he says they are very comfortable. Nice styling works for his casual lifestyle.

I mostly use my Merrell Moabs for frisbee golfing and they give me great support and excellent comfort and grip on the tee pad! Plus they are waterproof! I recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a great hiking shoe!

Love these shoes. Third pair of them that I've owned. They're great for walking a lot, and they keep your feet dry. Also great if you spend a lot of time standing around. They naturally run a half size smaller because of the Gore-Tex booty inside. (I'm hard on my shoes, and walk through them in about 1 year, wearing them 24/7.) These do seem to be a bit narrower in the front foot area. Usually I just order the same size; this time a half size bigger might have been nice. But still a great shoe. Love Merrell's!

These shoes break in really well. They seem to mold to my foot after a couple of weeks. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have owned the Gore-Tex and ventilator version. The ventilators were great when I lived in Sacramento, the Gore-Tex are great in Denver!

Awesome shoes! Durable yet so comfortable they feel like a second skin. I have worn them for days on end of hard walking, hiking, and biking over gravel roads, dirt trails, stone beaches, and plain old concrete. No foot pain or blisters. The only thing I have done in the year I've owned them is replace the insole which wore out after eight months. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat...provided my current pair ever dies!
