Great shoes. Very sturdy, supportive, breathable, rugged, and good looking as casual nice. The length is true to my usual, but the toe box is wide to begin with and I do not need the extra width shoe I bought, That said I am keeping it anyway. Very happy with this purchase.

These shoes are built like a tank. They also repel water well. Lastly, they are on the expensive but I am happy with their overall quality. So, if you are looking for a shoe that can take abuse and give it as well, this would be a good choice.

I completed a week of Scout Camp as a leader with these shoes. They held up great in some rain, mountain climbing and just daily wear. I have chronic metatarsal pain, these did not aggravate my condition.

I have owned and love several Merrells over time. This is my second pair of the Moab and they are by far my favorit look. To my experience all Merrells are thoughtfully designed and well constructed. Recently I purchased a pair for my girl as were are taking a trip.

I've walked about 100 miles in these shoes after having had them a little over a month. These shoes are quite comfortable and have held up well so far. If there is a complaint to be made, it's that the shoe laces are a bit short.

Great shoes! The waterproof feature is nice--I have already had to take advantage of it. The shoes felt comfortable right out of the box.

Great service from Zappos, and another outstanding product from Merrell. I gave 4 stars on style because I don't like the orange. Also they are hard to clean mud and grass from the sole. Still I would definitely buy again.

This is my 4th pair of these shoes. They are extremely comfortable. The waterproof version can be a bit hot in the summer, but otherwise is just as comfortable as the regular pair.

This shoe is very stable on the trail, yet not so rigid and heavy that it can't be worn off the trail too. In fact they weigh so little that they've replaced a pair of New Balance running shoes as my daily shoes. I rated the 'comfort' at 4 out of 5 stars because the included foot bed is very thin. But this isn't an issue since the bed is replaceable.

This shoe is waterproof! I work for TV covering PGA. Even after walking 18 holes in constant rain and walking in soggy fairways and 6" saturated rough, my feet stayed dry.

I tried two other brands of water proof shoes(the first I asked for another pair after the original fell apart). After having the first two-same brand- come apart I traded for another "water proof" shoe but later learned, after getting my feet wet from dew on the grass, that the warranty was good only if water did not come across the shoe top. Then I went to Zappos and bought these Merrells. They are water proof. Water over the top does not bother them.

The 11.5 4E fit nicely. It's hard to find wide size shoes and this is a comfortable model. It's wide in the front but is kinda narrow by the heel. I wish I could find a wide-size shoe with a thin sole that is also Goretex.

These shoes fit great and are light weight. They also have good arch support.

Merrell shoes are always very comfortable. True to size. Only complaint is that laces will not stay tied - maybe as they wear, the lace material will age and they will stay tied! However, glad I bought and recommend the shoe to others because of the comfort.

These are great shoes, that extremely comfortable! My feet are just a little wide so if you think you might need wider shoes definitely make sure you get the wide width.

Only shoe I've ever liked enough to buy a second time. I wore my last pair to death and they were waterproof right up until I completely wore through the sole. I probably wore those shoes every day for 3 years. The waterproofing is great, but obviously is not effective against water entering by your ankle. If I had to list a con it would be that they are not great for standing on concrete for long periods of time. (in a work environment, for example.)

Awesome shoes. This is the second pair I bought. I love them because they make them in W size, they have arch support and I can dress them up or down. Water resistant and comfy.

These are by far the best shoes I've ever bought...period. I still have a pair of these years later and use them constantly. Outside the expected wear/tear after maybe 4 years of use...they still hold up and look good. I want to get another pair just to have a set that "looks" new! Super comfortable, look great and unstoppable.

For years I wore a size 11, as 10.5 where always a bit tight, especially late in the day when my feet would swell a bit. Well, I finally realized after having my feet professionally measured that my true size is 10.5 wide width. I was a little hesitant about purchasing shoes on line without trying them on, but stores in my area did not stock wide sizes. After receiving the pair I purchased, I tried them on with anticipation and was very pleasantly surprised. These were my size and actually fit my foot well. Heel feels nestled and snug in the rear and toes have room to wiggle and breath. In my opinion, after wearing them every day for two weeks,(first two days in the house just in case), these are perfect for me. I am ordering another pair of these Moab Gortex in another color and a pair of the Ventilators. Having read the reviews prior to ordering, I was forewarned that they are a bit warmer due to the Gortex, which they are. Living in New York, I welcomed the extra warmth on cold mornings, but will switch to the Ventilators when the weather warms.

These GORE-TEX XCR's are the best. The fit is what is needed for warmth and stability. The quality of a Merrell product needs no defense or explanation. The look and the feel of these Moab's are everything I was hoping for. Besides the above, the price was very low and reasonable. Also, I received my boots the next day, so Zappos is my place to buy on-line.

I have never found a pair of shoes that feet my feet better than the Merrell Moab line. On all conditions from hiking in the woods/over rooks/standing on hard surfaces all day at work they just feel like an extension of myself and not a separate shoe. If they made this line forever, I would always continue to buy it.

Nice shoe right out of the box. I do a lot of walking and these shoes are very comfortable. They move with your foot; however, give you the support that you need. I love dealing with Zappos. They make the buying experience hassle-free.

This is an excellent shoe and one of the VERY FEW waterproof light hiking shoes that comes in legitimately wide sizes. I tried on a bunch of other brands (keen, columbia, new balance, vasque, soloman). Most didn't make the waterproof version in wide sizes, and for those that did the wide widths were wide in name only. This shoe is wonderfully built for wide feet. Additionally, it's very sturdy and supportive and light enough to be used as a recreational trail-running shoe. Cons: It feels less breathable than similar shoes I've tried and the supplied insole is flimsy.

This is my second pair. I wore the first almost constantly for five years until they finally wore out. These shoes are comfortable and durable.
