I love these shoes. I had these a year or two ago. I'm on my feet constantly for work so I get new shoes every 6 months. Tried Keens and a few other variations of Merrell and had to come back to these. My favorite shoes I've owned.

I am a woman and I love these shoes! I wear them with orthotic insets and they are lightweight, structured and have plenty of room in the toebox, I have them in wide. They are a great shoe for people who are are serious about walking and hiking and they're not bad looking either.

Great shoes very water resistant. I wear a size 15 and have narrow, flat feet. Yet these fit good and have good arch support. I have been hiking in the snow and rain and my feet stayed dry. Great shoes breath well yet warm in the cold. Very good

I was hesitant about ordering this shoe because one review said it was heavy. I needed new shoes for an upcoming trip to a certain these park in Orlando, FL, so I took a chance and ordered these. Man, what a great purchase. I have very wide feet with a medium arch, and these felt great, even after 5 days of non-stop walking. When my feet don't ache at the end of the day, I knew I had bought a great shoe.

I wore these to hike the Machu Pichu in Peru and they were very comfortable and of course kept me dry in the rain. I had never felt that I would slip, they ave a great grip for hicking.

I love this shoe! I was a little hesitant to order because of the price but once I put them on I knew I made the right choice. Excellent fit, lighter than I expected and very comfortable.

High quality shoe. They are more rigid and warm than the non Gore-Tex Moab. Maybe too warm. I wear size 11.5 W in Clarks. These fit in 12 W.

I purchased these boots along with some Asolo boots which cost over $250.00. These boots were the clear winner as far as comfort is concerned so I returned the Asolo. These Merrell boots are heavy but well made. I ordered the wide size and was pleasantly surprised how nicely they fit (in New Balance size I wear 10 4e) due to my wide feet requirements. I immediately removed the flimsy insoles and replaced them with high arch insoles. Wow, what a difference. Prior to the nice insoles I honestly thought I would have to return these Merrells because of the terrible insoles that came with them. I clean carpets for a living and I'm constantly in wet environments and so far my feet have remained dry.

Had these for about four months now. These are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. I'm often out in wet/snowy fields, and these have never let me down. Great shoes, would buy 'em again if something happened to this pair.

A very comfortable and light but durable hiking shoe. Does seem to really be waterproof. I've been wearing Merrell Moab shoes for a long time and decided to try the Gore-Tex XCR. Like these even more than the Moab Waterproof.

Great shoes, look narrower first and got scared will not fit me but once you put them on they are comfortable and they stretch, after wearing them couple of times they look wide like any other pair. Highly recommend these ones.

Buy these shoes! After ordering and returning a different brand I read some reviews on these, including the colorfully one from the military guy. I wore them for ten hours the first time I put them and still did not want to take them off. Hands down the best shoes I have ever owned.

I have wide and complicated feet and had been looking for a long time for tough outdoor shoes that didn't cause me pain. These Merrells have been great. They're wide, true to size, warm but breathe and keep water out. I'm very happy with them.

Exceeded my expectations. I was looking for something that would keep water from rain and puddles out during the winter months in Seattle, but be breathable enough to wear in the office and not need to take them off. Gore-tex isn't always the miracle material it's marketed as, but for this use case it works exactly as advertised. It won't breath as well as an open mesh, but it is sufficient to keep your feet from overheating and sweating.

These are great. I got them for cold, wet mornings when I go to shooting competitions. I needed something that would keep my feet dry and still allow me to move around quickly. These have worked out great. I initially got a pair of The North Face shoes, but they had an oddly placed lump in them. The Merrell's were amazingly comfortable by comparison.

Next day delivery - Wow! Hard to find wides in a decent looking hiking / walking shoe. Thanks Merrell. Shoes fit great. Very comfortable. Good traction. Note that "Dark Chocolate" appears somewhat Dark Grey possibly because of the grey mesh of the shoe. This is my first Merrell - Would purchase again.

Very comfortable shoes and great support. May run a tad small. Walked and hiked all around Ireland in these things for two weeks and my feet did not complain at all (unlike my previous Columbia shoes).

This is the second pair Merrell footwear I purchased. They've proven to function as advertised and have a very solid, yet comfortable, feel when wearing them. Great traction on slippery surfaces.

Love these shoes. I always buy Merrells a half size larger than normal, and this was no different. Quality is like other Merrells I own - High. I highly recommend them.

I've had one pair of these from 2 years ago, wore them every day through summer, winter, and lots of rain. They still feel as comfortable as they did when they were brand new. I'm just replacing them because they're getting a bit worn out from overly-demanding use. They are well worth the cost!

I bought these hiking shoes because I wanted a lightweight but sturdy pair of shoes. These fit the bill, they are comfortable, true to size and let your feet 'breathe'. I would definately recommend these, I wear them all day and love them.

My husband loves these shoes. We went hiking and the whole time I had to listen to the fact that "they require no break in." What else can I say, he is a picky guy, so they must be good.

These are the absolute best shoes that I have ever had. These are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever experienced, and the fit is spot on. Now I know why people tell me Merrell makes the most comfortable shoe. In addition, the dark chocolate color is the perfect blend of form and function. The shoes looks rugged but classy enough to wear with clothes you would normally associate with Oxford-style shoes (like nice jeans or pants). They are just stylish enough so that you do not have to wear separate shoes for more formal-styled casual wear. The Goretex ensures water-proofing as well. These shoes are 10/10. Just make sure to know your size and foot width. I am medium width and they fit perfectly.
