Hands down the best shoe I have ever had for work or play. My job is veterinary technician and taking care of our sheep farm, play is gardening and hiking. These shoes are lightweight but supportive all around, great on the hard floors at work all day long and absolutely rugged on the farm. They grip like glue to any kind of surface, couldn't bale hay without them. Cool in the summer and warm and fun to wear with funky colored wool socks in the winter. When they get dirty I just hose them off or toss them in the wash. Not simply a good shoe they have become an essential asset.

Second Arroyo II I've owned. First used for trail hiking, gardening, general wearing. A visiting dog added chewing somewhat destroying my favorite sturdy footwear. I was so happy Keen did not change this model. Fits my older bunion feet perfectly. Hope Keen keeps this model on the shelves in case another visiting puppy finds it.

I don't remember ever being happier with a shoe. Runs large, everyone said. But since I normally need a wide and wear built up orthotics, a little bit of largess goes a long way. This is indeed a generous shoe. Not only does it accommodate my orthotics and the slight wideness of bunions, but it also handles my narrow heels. It provides excellent support, and it is so comfortable that I really haven't worn anything else since it arrived. I wanted a sturdy, supportive sandal. I got a sandal with a hiking shoe sole. I feel stable when I'm walking and my feet are as happy as they've ever been.

Love these shoes! Had them about a month. Never wore Keens before and bought them because my foot doc recommended them for my painful feet. They are awesome! I wear them everywhere.

I have always loved Keen shoes - they are sturdy, comfortable, have a spacy toe area so that I very seldom jam my toes when hiking and are ruggedly good-looking. These shoes fit the bill for my daily life where I walk a lot!

These are wonderful shoes. I bought them for a safari to Africa and wore them everyday. Very comfortable and I love that I can wash the red dust off now that I am home. I wear a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I like that it is an enclosed shoe with vents to keep my feet cool.

Best shoes for if you will be changing terrain a lot! Comfortable with or without socks. I went hiking and dealt with snow creeks and dirt and I'm so glad these were the shoes I was wearing!

Someone gave me a used pair of keen shoes. They were just a little on the small size (9) They felt good better than other shoes that I have bought or wore before. I bought a (10) should of bought (9.5) They did loosen up a bit after wearing them for a while. My feet sweat very bad as I wear them at work. And because of the vents they help with that a lot.

Of course these aren't the most stylist of shoes - but that's not their purpose. They're extremely comfortable. I am hard to fit, and appreciate the removable inner sole so I can easily insert my orthotics, which give me the arch support I need. I can't comment on the arch support of the shoe itself. They feel sturdy, good for walking, camping, a generally good casual getting around shoe.

I'm new to this kind of footwear, so have nothing to compare it with, but so far they are comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing them when I have them on for several hours. That's saying a LOT for them, in my opinion.

I like these shoes. I've been wearing them almost daily. I particularly like that they have a closed back so I can use my Powersteps inserts with them. Also, although a sandal, they give me good foot stability.

Got my Keen Arroyo II really fast. I took everyone's advise and got the 7 1/2 where I usually wear an 8. The fit perfect. I am replacing all my shoes with Keen as they are them most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever worn!

I love this shoe! Is very comfortable and supportive. I ordered half size smaller then I normally wear and it fits perfect. Great hiking for hiking and walking in.

I bought these because my Keen hiking boots are the most comfortable shoes I own for winter, and I wanted something similar for summer. These shoes did not disappoint -- they're a little bit heavy, but the fit is exactly like the hiking boots. The toe box is roomy and the arch support is great.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased the Arroyo II by Keen. So many reviews stated it runs a half size larger. I typically take a size 8 and had to reorder in a 7 1/2, which was a perfect fit. The shoes was comfortable out of the box, I love the nubuck leather and the fact that it has a back to the shoe (vs. just a back strap, which I like but have so many of those styles). I feel it is a great cross between a shoe and a sandal and can be worn in three seasons (I live in the Chicagoland area so winter is absolutely out!) There is really good arch support, especially for a sandal type of a shoe, and yet the shoe has flexibility when walking in it. It is also very easy to get on and off. I gave it a five for style - keeping in mind I put it in the perspective of the type of shoe it is and the purpose of the shoe. It is by no means a fashion statement shoe, but I did not find it to be overly clunky either. I am not a hiker, but I bought these shoes for the toe protection when I walk the dog as we do go up and down grassy and gravel hills. I will find many other uses for these shoes as well - not just walking the dog - as they are truly a comfortable/supportive shoe. Very happy with this purchase and always happy with Zappos! IF you like Keen or want to try Keen, I would recommend this shoe.

I love, love, love these shoes! My second pair of Keens, 1st was Whisper, but theses are even better! As a former nurse for 20 some years, & now in retail, I have always been on the run! I put on 8-10 mi. per day, & neither my back or feet hurt at days end, oh yes, and don't forget the dog walks! I have very narrow feet, & can cinch these to perfection! Awesome just begins to describe these, just put them on and go!

Even in knowing what I might expect from Keen made shoes; these met and possibly exceeded those expectations. They were purchased for their tread, the usual toe protection and open construction. The fit, traction, comfort and support are excellent.

I have very narrow feet, but also Mortons Neuroma. I wear mostly Keen and Arcopedico shoes. Sandals are a no-no, and Most Sandals are way too big in the strap area (laces are better for me) I own several pair of Alamosa hikers which I am disappointed were discontinued. My Fav outdoor shoe. These fit like the Alamosa. I returned them, hoping for a smaller size and a different color. Although I love turquoise, I don't want all my shoes to be. I typically wear a 9-9.5, these were 9 and a tad large without sock. They were comfy so if I find a different color...

So far so good! I have a ton of trouble getting shoes to fit my bad feet, and these have been great! But I always wear a size 9 and I read the reviews first and they said they ran big and that is very true! I ordered an 8 1/2 and now that they are broken in, I almost could have ordered an 8. Still love the shoe though.

I could not have been happier with these shoes. They were true to size and super comfortable. I put them on and wore them for 3 days straight.

This is a beautiful shoe with lots of support - but the inside is very hard and uncomfortable and rubs my ankle, so unfortunately I had to send it back. I wish the inside was softer, I really needed a nice supportive sandal like this.

I bought these shoes because of the great arch support. As others have noted they run large - I usually wear a 10 -101/2 but the 9 1/2 fits in this shoe. The heal is a bit loose for me (I have narrow heals)and I wish the elastic pulls were a bit shorter as I have to tuck them so they don't drag on the ground. Even with these flaws I love the shoes for their awesome comfort. I like the gray/turquoise combination. They do seem to run a bit narrower than my other Keens - but work fine for my B width.

These shoes have great support and they are very comfortable. My previous pair lasted for 10+ years and I was excited to find a new pair. They are as comfortable as the previous pair straight out of the box. My feet are pretty narrow; these Keens can be cinched tight and are not too wide.

These shoes are GREAT! I have worn them over the past 3 weekends, for long trail walks (the longest at 8.1 miles). My feet have not hurt once. They grip a variety of surfaces comfortably. I highly recommend these!

Great all terrain shoe and very comfortable. Love the roominess in the toe box as I have foot "issues" in that area of one foot. Order a half-size smaller unless you plan to wear mid-weight socks with them. However, the laces allow you to tighten, but for me, they're still a bit loose in the heel area.
