Love these shoes! I took a brand new pair to Yellowstone Park...felt good from the first time I put them on! The other reviews indicated these ran a little large, so I bought the half-size down and was happy. I also ordered my regular size to check.

The ones I received are sized just like my Keen Voyageurs, not big at all. The footbed feels great to me; obviously everyone's feet are different, and you can replace the insoles. The outsole is the same as Voyageur, Targhee, etc. I am wearing them as a trail / trekking shoe with mid-weight socks and like them very much.

It is hot here in the valley of the sun! These Keens are great for walking and hiking. Super support with enough room to accommodate my orthotic inserts. And stylish too. Yes, I observed other reviewers sage advice and ordered a half size smaller...perfect fit! Zappos totally rocks the world of customer service and I received my new kicks lighting fast!

I bought this shoe to have a ventilated all purpose summer shoe with support. I also bought a pair of the Keen sandles. These shoes provide more support than the sandles but found them to run just a tad wide. While not uncomfortable, I would prefer to have the shoe tighter without as much bunching at the fore foot. I also like the se shoes becasue you can throw them in the washer and they come out looking as good as new. I wear these shoes with summer dresses/skirts, to and from the gym or bike class, gardening, walking the dog, pretty much all the time when I know I want support for my feet and protection for my toes.

Love these shoes. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than what I normally wear based on other reviews and they fit perfect. They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. Will be ordering another pair.

My second pair of Keens arrived today, Keen Arroyo II. I put them on and immediately my foot pain disappeared. I usually take size 7, but ordered 6-1/2 based on suggestions from other reviewers, and they fit me perfectly! I love these shoes (my feet are narrow and I have high arches), going to the beach right now! Thank you Keen. Thank you Zappos!

Love Keens and have many of them. These are great because I can fit an orthotic in the shoe without it slipping out the back. I always get a size 8 but these run a bit larger. Might go a half size lower for this one when it is time to replace them.

I have only had these a few weeks, but so far they have met my initial expectations. I purchased them to wear while trekking in Belize and Guatemala this summer. So far I have only worn them to work; I am a teacher. Partway through the first day, I realized that my feet felt really good. The fabric is a little bit rough on my tender, winter feet so I have been wearing them with an extremely thin ankle sock. I would normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8, but after reading the reviews, I ordered a 7 and found that it fit perfectly. The shoes are sturdily built and have a substantial tread. They are gently padded on the inside. The footbed is slightly rough, which for winter feet might take some getting used to. Overall, I think this shoe does what it says.

Finally a "fisherman" cool style with a lined, removable footbed! I've looked far and wide for an open shoe/sandal like this as a professional dog walker. I need coolness but protection, but all others have rubber footbeds that make my feet hot and not real comfortable in my opinion. And I can insert my own footbed if needed! I took the great advice of other clients and ordered a half size down. Usually wear an 8 and ordered 7 1/2. Perfect with some nice room in the toe box. Zappos amazing speedy delivery!

These are fabulous. I have only worn them around the house so far, but I am expecting great things from these babies through the spring and summer. Really cute, fit well and seem very supportive for such a low profile shoe. I am a gardener and work on my feet all day so that will be the next test. I will report back. If all goes well, I hope they still have my size in every color!

I love Keen and I love the Arroyo II. They're just what I was hoping for -- an open and cooler athletic shoe, for warmer weather (if it ever gets warmer here in Montana this year).

Very comfy, unfortunately the mesh that is located under the straps bunches up when the shoe string is tightened. Keen, please return to the solid mesh backing. Even so, this shoe has great support.

These Keen shoes are simply the best shoes I have ever worn! They fit perfectly and help balance my walk. Even when I want to wear another pair of shoes I do it reluctantly and as soon as possible come back to my Keen shoes. I am beginning to wear them with most of what I wear and find that I am making a real fashion statement because I get a lot of compliments.

I bought these shoes for my wildlife techniques class. We do a lot of field work ranging from telemetry and small mammal trapping to density, cover, and frequency. I live in West Texas, so its primarily a flat, arid landscape. I have used these shoes to climb some rocky hills at a park and the grip was awesome. We have a lot a mesquite growing here and these shoes have prevented a lot of spines from going into my foot. All in all, these shoes are really great for walking, climbing, and doing anything else outdoors. I think my only complaint would be that a lot of small seeds slip into the slits and collect at the arch of my foot.

I love these sandals! I read some reviews that were complaining about bad fit, problems with no socks, etc. These fit me perfectly in any way from day 1! I have little wide feet and high arch. Keens ideal for wide feet! Originally I wanted to get Newport H2, but high arch were a problem - it was pain to putting them on and off. Arroyo 2 open really wide, and this accommodates high arch. These were my primary shoes for hiking and swimming at Adirondacks for weeks! I noticed a little trick: keen have a sole that fits me perfectly. It's a sole that they use in this shoes, Targhee 2 (I own), and Voyageur (I am going to own). And I will own any Keen's with this sole - it's perfectly matches my feet!

Very sturdy shoe with good support. Like better than the sandel because of this. Does run a little on large side.

I love these shoes. Lightweight but good support. The only time I didn't wear them in Yosemite was when I had my Keen Voyageurs on for climbing rocks and domes. It does run large so order 1/2-1 size smaller.

My 4th pair of this style from Keen in the past 8 yrs! I wear them to work outside on gravel and concrete all day. Good arch support and removable liners allow for my custom arch supports. Frequently wet feet in my job but these are the best for quick drying and great ventilation. Definitely a summer shoe for comfort!

Great shoe! Recently, I needed to find footwear which could accommodate not only my custom orthotics, but the AFO which I also needed to wear - this required that the insole be removable so that the AFO footplate could go under it. Can't believe that I found such a wonderful active sandal with removable arch supports! Even though I have custom orthotics, there is absolutely no need for me to wear them in these shoes as the arch supports are so great! I have bunions and even though these sandals don't come in wide widths, they fit my bunions just fine due to the cut-outs. I usually wear a size 8, and I tried both 7.5 and 8 and went back and forth 1000 times trying to decide, but finally kept the 8 (thanks Zappos for the great ship/return policy!) I got the chocolate brown/woodrose, which is a nice color (not too "rose-y"). Now that I no longer need to wear the AFO, I am still so happy that I have them and I am sure that I will treasure these for years! Everyone loves them and my sister wants a pair too. Glad that I found this shoe!

On my third pair. Comfortable, well-constructed and durable for all types of use. Have high arches so have to use alternative arch support.

I bought these a month ago and I'm wearing them everyday. They were comfortable out of the box and my orthotics fit in them. They look a little clunky, but they make up for it in comfort. I would love to get these in another color, as I plan to wear them all year round.

I ordered 2 sizes, on both the right foot was comfortable but the left on the 5 1/2 was uncomfortable in the arch; on the 6 the arch was more comfortable but not enough to keep the shoes. I also wanted to wear them without socks and they felt rough to me. I am rating them 5 all around because it is a well made shoe, but my feet are hard to fit, I have plantar fasciitis and a very high arch.

Love Keens, but they do run big for me. Merrell size 7, Keen size 6. Why?

I have had a pair similar to these, maybe Arroyo I, for several years and LOVE them. I need the closed heel for an orthotic insert and sandals with the closed heel are difficult to find now. My original pair was size 8.5 and I found these sandals to be narrower in the toe box and fully a size larger in length for me. I have tried sizes 8.5 and 8 and may try 7.5 (but I have to return these first or find someone else who can use them). I think I will love them if I can get a good fit. I am grateful Zappos has these in stock!
