This style is my go to shoe for work. I’m on my feet all day on a concrete floor so I need good arch support to make it through the day. I do wish I had a few more color choices. Still a great pair of shoes.

I cannot even count the number of KEENS I have had since the shoes/sandals came on the market around 2003. I read many reviews of the Arroyo ll but did not take the advice to order 1/2 size smaller. I have always worn an 8 and thought the reviewers just hadn't had a zillion KEENS. Wrong! they were right. Sent back the first pair and second pair a half size smaller fit well. I have had 3 of the original Arroyo and literally wore the tread off the first 2. Still have an original Arroyo and of the 2 Arroyos, I like the original one best - leather a little thicker and they seem sturdier.

Wow, I never thought I would find sandals for my arthritic and ankle injured feet! I like the rigid sole and closed back so I can use my orthotics. I think I will love these sandals. Thank you Zappos for letting me return several other sandals that weren't right for me. I originally ordered a size 8 which is a half size smaller than my usual size. I had to exchange them for a size 7.5 which fits perfectly.

The size seems to have increased size last time I bought these 3 years ago. The old 10.5 fit me well, but the new 10.5 is too big. I had to go down to a 10. Please keep making these sandals -- they are the only sandals I can find with a removable insole that I can replace with orthotics. A wider range of colors would be nice.

These sandals are cute, sturdy and comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis caused by high arches and stiff arches/calves, and these are the first shoes I ever found that were helpful for preventing pain.

With all the positive reviews, I was sure this was going to be the shoe that fit. So my less than favorable review is more about my impossible feet than the shoe. I wear a 5.5 with a very narrow heel and a mid-sized bunion on one foot and a collapsed arch on the other. I can't walk without orthotics. When I tried to cram my orthotics into this shoe, there was no room for my foot. I thought about going up a size, but figured that wouldn't solve the problem. Disappointed (in my feet) because I loved the look of these shoes!

Great sturdy sandal. For Keens I go between sizes 7.5 and 8. For this sandal 7.5 was just right.

I really liked this shoe, and I really like Keens in general. Unfortunately, something about the design meant my heel kept slipping out, so it doesn't work for me. Also, it definitely runs larger than other Keens.

Zappos Customer Service experience:10-stars! My feet: flat, bunions, plantar fasciitis, heel pain. First time since September 2017 that my feet haven't hurt at all in any pair of shoes. They're perfect. Great support, closed, but airy. I wear a size 11 but the 10.5 gave me plenty of room--enough even for socks. Review about slippery soles is probably right. But not a big deal.

Very comfortable with a removable insole. My custom orthotic fits perfectly without my foot slipping out of the shoe.

I was hesitant about the sap green. The colors are beautiful and go with all my khaki colored clothing. The fit is amazing! Full support-I could walk for hours in comfort, everywhere.

Rats. Have to return. They seem like great shoes, but not for me. I have a pinky toe that sets a bit low on the outside of my foot. Sadly, the outside of this style has a sandal-style gap (which it should have), placed so that my pinky toe hangs out of the shoe, or is likely to with any give in the leather material. I may try the Keen Voyageur, which seems to be a similar shoe but has a mesh lining inside. Also, the toe-box was nice and wide, great for my feet... but the heel was a smidge wide. If I'm going to have a width problem, it will be wide toes, narrow heels--and this shoe is in that zone. Maybe I'll stick with what I know, and what has served me well for several years, the Keen Newport, in a men's size. (I actually bought the original Newports at a B&M store, tried on the men's and women's, and it was the men's that seemed to fit best in a size one smaller than women's size.) At least quality for Keen doesn't seem to have gone downhill over the past 2 years, like another brand of supportive sandal I could name (but won't).

I love the Keen brand. They fit my feet perfectly and I know what size to order. I have back and foot problems and wear a custom orthotic. I appreciate that Keen has a removable insert so I can easily replace their insert with my custom one. I also love Zappos fast delivery service and free delivery!

I have had these nearly a year and they are one of the best footwear purchases I have ever made. I hike often on the quite rocky & rugged Superior Hiking Trail in northern MN, and these sandals are sturdy, my feet feel solid and protected, they breathe on the hottest July days and they're just plain comfortable. When they get wet they dry relatively quickly, though they're not water shoes so don't expect to wade through rivers and be dry in a few minutes. And don't walk on sandy beaches with these, as the sand will get in the soles and all the nooks and crannies. You'll be dealing with the sand for days. Definitely order at least a half size down.

Really love this Keen. i ordered in a 9.5 and a 10 and the first one fit-altho I generally take a 10. I could even fit my orthotic in it and this is the most comfortable my feet have felt in years! Will have to get another pair!!

I am still in process of trying this shoe around the house... I do love that the insole is removable so I can use my orthotic, and it is a nice alternative to an athletic shoe... It is quite roomy and may be just a little too big which could be a trip hazard for me... I ordered my regular size 11 as I need spaciousness around the toe box area... it is definitely roomy. I think a 10.5 may be necessary to try... a 10 would not be long enough.... It is definitely well made, nice cushion, the black toe bumper is more subtle than is often found on keens. I'll keep thinking on it.

So far, so good. Supportive shoe with removable insole...hard to find in a sandal. Hope these hold up.

Love these shoes! I am a Live Nursery Specialist... so my feet get wet in summer with watering. with these who cares.The only complaint I have my feet STINK!!!!!! I have to have closed heel and toe that's why I chose these... I only wear KEENS. I want to get another pair hoping my feet wont stink this time. With the concrete I have to have support KEEN has it. I recommend Zappos to everyone to get their KEENS.

I love Keen shoes. These are my go to shoes, even in fall. They do run a little large. I am typically an 8 but had to get at 7.5.

From the moment I pulled them from the box, I have loved these shoes/sandals. Purchased for an upcoming trip to Myanmar (Burma) where I need good walking shoes that can be easily removed for going in temples, and able to handle getting wet (end of monsoon season). I have other Keen sandals (Naples) that I have worn for full days of walking in European cities in more comfort than hikers. I anticipate the same for these. Have worn all day for the past week and no issues whatsoever! And of course, thanks Zappos for the best, fastest service ever! I'm forever a devoted fan!

I've only had these sandals for about a month so I can't speak to longevity, but I've worn them several times and after an initial breaking in period they are great! My feet stay cool, but protected. A small amount of debris does work its way in but not enough to stop my hike. My main concern is that over time the toggle that keeps the laces tight will wear out so I'm keeping an eye on that. Otherwise, they are just as fantastic as my other Keen hiking shoes and I expect they will last a very long time. I am normally a size 9, but in all sandals I am typically an 8.5 to an 8. I ordered the 8.5 and these sandals fit well. I have long toes which usually get crushed in normal shoes but there is plenty of room here. I've taken these sandals on several hikes so far this year over rocky terrain and they have been wonderful. One warning: if you wear them on the beach like I did, the sand will be stuck in all the nooks and crannies for a very, very long time. Stick to the trail with these.

Very comfortable shoe for my feet! Very comfortable to walk in and supports my ankles. Although I feel it does run a little bigger than the stated size and width, which is not a problem for me as I need a wide width anyway. Thumbs up from me!

I love these shoes...this is my 3rd pair. I will warn all that they run big. My Keen Voyageurs are a 9 1/2 and my Arroyos are an 8 and both fit perfectly.

This shoe has lots of room in the toe box. Elastic "laces" are easy to tighten and loosen. Loop on the heel helps with pulling the shoe on without bending/breaking the back. I use this shoe for short back country hikes and it works great. Nice ventilation yet pebbles and other organic matter don't usually end up inside the shoe.

This is my second pair. The support in the arch and overall footbed is perfect for my flat feet. Plus, the vented openings are great. I wish Keen would make a similar shoe with more style. The comfort and openings are a great feature but would like a pair that were not so sporty. I think if Keen did this, they would have a real hit of a shoe!
