I wanted to love these but they were way too loose across the toe, even on the last hole.

The fit and size were great, however the buckles are very hard to buckle. Just trying to get them on when I was going to wear them the first time was so frustrating that I decided to return them. And the strap wasn't long enough going around my ankle. They would've been tight around my ankle.

I ordered one size down because of the reviews I read. The smaller size was too small. I don't think this style of Birk runs differently than any other Birk. Order whatever size you normally wear. Otherwise, they are great shoes and feel just like other Birkenstocks.

The shoes fit perfectly on my narrow feet. However, I'm giving four stars instead of five because the leather under the buckle in my forefoot was really rough and cutting into my feet. I put some padded moleskin on that part of the leather strap, and now they are very comfortable. I stood at a concert for hours in them last night and was very comfortable. Love the height! Hard to find in a nice looking sandal that can be casual or worn with skirts/dresses!

I SO wanted these to work - very stable, perfect arch support, but like some others have said, the strap across the toes digs into the top of my foot. If I adjust the strap, they are too loose. So sad... they would have been perfect otherwise.

I love that these have actual buckles for width adjustment. However, the leather is a little stiff yet. I could use smaller increments of size adjustment in the toe area, but like the feel of these otherwise.

I love Birkenstock shoes and thought I would love these, but the buckle at the front of the shoe bothered my toes.

These are cute, but they were too wide. I usually wear 6.5 size shoe and 37 usually fits me well. But somehow these felt too big. The arch support was located in the wrong area on my foot making them feel uncomfortable. I had to take them back unfortunately.

Thank you Zappos for letting me try both the size 36 and the size 37. I normally wear a size 6 or 61/2 in most shoes. In Birkenstock sandals a 36 is perfect. I wasn’t sure about the wedge style…the 36 is the best fit for me in these cute shoes.

Overall, I really like these sandals. My one issue is how the buckles across the front rub. I’ll have to figure out something to put on the backside of them, since it’s a rough feel that runs against your toes. But I think it’s worth fixing because I love the style and comfort overall. This would be a great thing for the company to address in future models.

As another reviewer mentioned, a series of small things added up to ruin these sandals for me. My main complaints are that the ridge under the toes is a little too far forward and the buckles look cheap and are difficult to use. Other than that, they were more comfortable than most wedges, but not quite perfect for my very picky feet.

These shoes are so cute and stylish, but also practical! I had to take off one star however because they are a little off on the sizing. I have owned many pairs of Birkenstocks over the years and I always order a 39 and they always fit perfectly. I wish I had at least tried the 38 in this style because the 39 seems a half size too big. Still, a VERY nice shoe...can be dressed up or down and is extremely comfortable!

I LOVED THESE SHOES. MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS MY INABILITY TO FIT THE ANKLE STRAP SO THAT IT COULD BE BUCKLED. I WOULD GIVE FIVE STARS TO THESE SHOES. THEY WERE GREAT. MY FEET NOT SO MUCH BUT THEY ARE REALLY GREAT SHOES.

Very cute sandals - and I never liked the look of original Birkenstocks. I get lots of compliments and people always say- those look like Birkenstocks but with a wedge. haha….They don’t believe me when I say they are birks. Very sturdy wedge sandal. Caveats: The leather can stain your feet and needs some breaking in (I got blisters on my big toes from the leather).

These shoes were cute and fit true to size. I found the buckle at the front of the shoe to be a bit off size-wise for me. The tightest setting was too tight, but on the next hole, they were a bit loose. The wedge heel was very comfortable when standing. Unfortunately, the strap rubbed my foot a bit when I walked around the house in these, so I returned them. I was looking for a shoe I could walk comfortably in.

I loved everything about these shoes EXCEPT for the shiny brass buckle- totally gives the shoes a different vibe than if it had been any other color. It is enough of a gripe for me to send them back. Too bad!

Super cute and comfy. Definitely wider than the “ narrow” designation suggests as I have a wide foot and these are perfect. The only thing is that the upper strap doesn’t fit around the ankle really. I have slender ankles, and I couldn’t even get it into the last hole. I finally had to pull it on my foot, stretching it out, which was a pain that took a solid 3 minutes per foot. The strap needs to be about an inch longer and to have a couple more holes. Anyone who has fat or thick ankles will have a hard time. I also got these shoes in 2 sizes and had the same issue with both, so I don’t know that the size will correspond to a more forgiving/longer strap .

I don’t love the gold buckles but the sandal is extremely comfortable and looks great with dresses. These are a keeper!

Love the look, but the leather is very rigid and unforgiving. A bit of a heavy shoe too.

It is not fair for me to write a review about this shoe. I have a SS. (AAAA) foot and just finding shoes that I can keep on is a blessing. I bought these in a 10 N (there is no such size as 10 1/2 any more). Try to find a cute shoe in a SS that is not synthetic and/or just plain tacky. I like this shoe. It is really cute on the foot. And, while there is too much shoe for my skinny foot, it stays on. Now, I just have to be careful not to turn my ankle. :) :). I am guessing it is true to size and width as it seems the right bigness on me to be true to s and w.

I ordered a smaller size to accomodate my narrow feet. So they were too short but still to wide. I would try a larger size but you are sold out.
