I have been wearing Brooks Ghost since Ghost 5. That should tell you how loyal I am. I absolutely loathe this version. It feels more narrow and uncomfortable to run in. It is also very rigid and has caused blisters.

Sadly this is NOT the Ghost running shoe that so many of us have always been loyal consumers of. Yet another shoe that has gone for a cheaper "fluff" alternative that ultimately leaves you running on a brand that's full of hot air.

I've been getting Brooks running shoes for years and this is the lowest quality shoe I've ever purchased. Returned it. :(

Brooks i was obsessed with your 14 and 15 iterations of the ghost shoe but my 15s sadly had to retire. I ran to get 16s and they felt so incredibly uncomfortable compared to the 15s and 14s. If i could have bought 10 pairs of the 15s I would have over these. They feel much more stiff whereas my 15s were comfortable from the minute I put them on. Please bring back the 15 style. I beg you.

Was not happy with the purchase shoes cost my feet severe pain and develop Talis on my small toe. I had to give the shoes away. They were very uncomfortable for me and I wish they would've had a wider wider purchase. Thank you so much. The issues were given to the veterans administration thank you.

Sadly, all 4 pairs of Ghost 16s ordered were very painful, stiff, not well cushioned and simply lacked the quality and not at all representative of the Brooks I've the purchased/worn the past decade. The Ghost 14s and 15s were of a much higher quality and offered appropriate support and cushioning. All 4 pairs are being returned... Brooks...please consider returning to the previous quality and support you've offered previously.

They hurt my feet dont like them at all

The toe box was too short. I had to return them.

I sent these back and ordered a different style gym shoe

Quality has definitely declined. They were not comfortable at all!! Highly disappointed!

I've been wearing Ghosts for about 10 years-- they have been my go-to and have always fit perfectly and comfortably. I was so disappointed in this version! Wore them for one volunteer shift of four hours (Brooks trainers are my uniform shoes) and my feet were so uncomfortable during and after. They felt hard as a rock-- the typical Ghost cushioning was nowhere to be felt. In addition, the arch hit slightly too far forward, which is an issue I haven't had before. I'll try the 17, thankful that Brooks makes returns easy in case they are as big a bust as the 16.

I'm a big Brooks fan, so was very disappointed with this shoe. I run 2 to 3 miles daily. This shoe was stiff and did not have the cushion of prior versions. I ended up returning them because they were so uncomfortable.

I've been buying ghost brooks for about a decade this is the first t him that I noticed the quality or lack of. And they are so very wide

Felt like I had been wearing them for 15 years & needed to replace. Very disappointed.

I returned both pairs I ordered. The fit wasn't good at all. The Ghost 15's are the best and the 16's don't even compare.

Overall fit too long in my normal size and HUGE in wide, which I normally need. Too much hassle to find the right fit when other brands fit like a charm.

The fabric over the top of the tow box in the ghost 16s is too soft. Right now I'm wearing my old ghost 15s with much better fabric.

I have been buying Brooks Ghosts since 10 have loved them from the day I got them. I don't know what was changed but you need to stop and go back to how they were made. Ghost 16 hurts my ankles not comfortable at all. The material was so hard surrounding the ankle area versus Ghost 15 that has lots cushion supporting my ankle. Please change them back! I exercise a lot the old brooks ghost was the best for cardio, dance and kickboxing. Yet ghost 17 is even worse, the ankle area is too loose. It looks like brooks copy the style like Hoka.

I ordered two pairs of the ghost 16 because I like my ghost 15 and 14 so much. In fact, they're the only athletic shoe I wear that can relieve my neuropathy and allow me to walk comfortably and stand for longer periods of time. Unfortunately, I had to return the 16s because the arch just felt weird and they did not feel as stable overall. Now I am stuck trying to find ghost 14s and 15s on the resale market because they are no longer available from the Brooks website. Please, please go back to the formula that you used for Ghosts prior to the 16's. It was a good shoe and now it's not! I'm pretty much willing to pay any price for a shoe that works for my feet, so the price wasn't even the factor. It's the fit!

I have been buying Brooks Ghosts for years and have loved them from the day I got them. I don't know what was changed but you need to stop and go back to how they were made a few years ago. I honestly thought it wasn't the right shoe. So stiff and firm my ankle hurt. This not comfortable at all! Change them back! I work in healthcare and this is the only shoe I have been using for years.

These are the worst shoes I have ever worn. I am an avid Brooks fan, especially of Ghost, and up until now sang the praises of Brooks as the best shoes I've ever owned. Not anymore. These are junk, and that's putting it nicely. I bought 3 pair thinking that I don't need to go somewhere and try them on; after all the are Brooks. From the minute I put these on they felt off and painful. Especially in my right foot. I wore them for a few hours running errands and have been limping for hours after taking them off. I have a sharp shooting pain through my big toe on my right foot as well as pain on the top of my foot, ankle, and shin. I felt like I was walking on concrete the whole time I was wearing them and now the pain in my foot and ankle won't go away. I will be returning these and finding another brand altogether. I'm very happy for Brooks being thrilled with their new "carbon neutral" shoes, at the customers expense. Do better Brooks.

After 2 uses, rubber outsole on my right shoe began peeling. I got these shoes in April, but didn't start using them until May. After the second time wearing them, I immediately felt a sticky like feeling on the bottom of my right shoe. However, after checking, I was upset to see the right sole peeling. The peeling has gotten worse and is only effecting the right shoe. My left shoe is fine. I get Brooks for high quality, but this is not it. Not sure if I'll be getting Brooks again.

The tip of the shoe folded and kept rubbing on my big toe. This is the 2nd different kind of Brooke's that has done this.

I have been a true Ghost fan since 2012. Only shoe I wear. Since the ghost 13, the shoe has completely gone down hill. They keep changing it for the worst. I couldn't wear ghost 14. Returned them all.. yes! I buy 3/4 pair each year. The 15's were better but not great. Just order the 16 and already returned them. The shoe is to narrow and short. I'm a 8.5. I like my running shoe to have a bit of room in the toe. The 16 were way to tight and I'm definitely not going up a size. Can we please bring back the old ghost 13?
