I ran 2 marathons and a 1/2 marathon in Brooks Ghost 9, 10, and 12. I got the 16 and immediately had foot pain just walking around when wearing them, which I never did before. I used them on runs and the same thing happened. It felt like I was hitting the ground so hard. They felt heavier and dense than the other ones I've had. I ended up using them for the gym, but I was really bummed they were giving me pain with being a shoe I trusted so much before!

I have run in Ghosts close to forever training and competing in several marathons. This the first pair I had to return. I could barely finish the second run I went on while wearing them. There was a hard piece on the inner edge of the shoe that rubbed the side of my foot. This seem to be only in one shoe.

Typically as soon as my Ghosts arrive at my door I take them out of the box put them on, go run and I'm good to go. Ghost 16 are different. The 16 have been taking more time to break in. I've started wearing them around the house to speed up the break in because after about a week they still are not really comfortable and very stiff especially at front / ball of foot and toes. Not sure what changed from 15 to 16 but I'm not a huge fan of the 16s. Pro: There is a good amount of shock absorption which is nice.

I am not liking the new designs and have been a Ghost user for many years. I will be looking for something else. Please go back to the better quality and design.

Not as comfortable as the Trace. I'm having to break this shoe in. I just slipped the Trace on right out of the box, and it felt great. These are becoming more comfortable each time I wear them. It's a good shoe, but I will buy Trace if available, next time.

Big decline in quality - these shoes do not measure up to what they have been in the past. Very disappointing.

This is my 20th pair of Brooks and I am incredibly disappointed. I was I have been wearing Brooks first adrenaline now ghost for a decade. The 16s are awful - The footbed feels like I'm walking on rocks and for the first time I came home from work with my feet killing me. It's really disappointing cuz I thought I could keep buying Brooks but I'm going to have to switch shoes.

I quickly returned them. My toes felt squished from the top, which was a first for me. I had bought my standard size and the length was fine, but they were just too uncomfortable. I believe this is called a shallow toe box. If that's what you're looking for, then this is a good shoe. I liked the colors!

I have worn them only a few times, but at the moment they feel really hard like metal shoes like Work safety shoes, I was looking more for something comfortable and soft

I typically love brooks but the 16's have little to no arch support and the shoe is wider than other versions. The one nice part is the hugging of the heel feel. Missed the mark with this mold, disappointed and wish I could have more 14's or even 15's.

Too long & too wide compared to Ghost 15.

I walk not run but have always bought run sneakers. Unfortunately you seemed to have raised or added more cushioning in the heel which puts me off balance. I am handicapped and walk with a cane. I have always bought brooks but now I'm very unhappy with this new design and will have to look for other brands sadly.

I have bought Ghosts now for many years and have never had problems. However, I don't know what Brooks has changed but this new one is horrible. The third time running in them, my feet hurt so bad I can't stand barefoot. I ended up buying the Glycerins and my are just getting worse. If you buy a Ghost, get an older pair.

Not sure what's change with Ghost! I can only wear for a short period of time before feet ache. The tongue is uncomfortable an after wearing the outside of my feet ache. So disappointing! My recommendations on another brand for daily walking!

I have been wearing Ghosts consistently, but the most recent pair I purchased does not fit the same. My toes are hitting the front of the sneaker and causing alot of discomfort. I'm disappointed and now have to find another option.

I have been loyal to Ghosts for at least 10 years, but for whatever reason, the 16s just make my feet ache. I have painful calluses in areas I've never had previously, justugh. Are they more narrow? Are they more shallow? These are not an improvement over the 15ds. The outsole becomes too soft too quickly, and, my feet are just not happy in them. Have a new pair in my closet, and they're going back!

Not as comfortable as the Glycerine model, and the material smells funny after being worn. Never experienced this with the other model which I continue to wear in other colors. Also a little tighter. Not really happy but I'll keep them, since I've worn them twice.

I do not understand why a good thing can't be left alone. I switched to Brooks Ghost a few years ago and have been happy until now. The toe box on the 16 is different than the past several variations, the shoe is also shorter in length, and the tongue is uncomfortable.

Don't know what you did to these bring back the 14 and 15 Ghosts these do not feel the same also bring back those 14 q And 15 styles and colors.Need the black and white 14 and 15 cheeta print neutral .Was disappointed in these .And I used to live them.Thankyou.From all your once loyal customers.
