I have over 20 pairs of Brooks, including 3 iterations of Ghost. These Ghost 16 are by far the worst. I've tried to wear them 4 or 5 times while jogging, thinking they just may need worn more. Unfortunately, its not the case. The toe box is narrow and short. Worst Brooks experience.

I need to return the Ghost shoes. They are not comfortable.

I love the Ghost 14 and 15. I own at least 3 pair of each model. The Ghost 16 felt more stiff and narrow in the toe box. The laces were also short. Won't buy another of this model.

Have been running in Ghosts for years. Loved the 14s but LOVED the 15s. The sizing on the 16s is off. Where I was either a 9W or 9.5W comfortably in previous versions, I'm not comfortable in either for the 16. These gave me bad blisters. Brooks helped me with their return policy and I tried the Glycerin 22 which gave me immediate shin splint and knee pain. I don't feel right complaining about another pair of shoes to them. I thought I would try the 17s since they just came out but the reviews seem to be unanimously bad. Go back to the 15s, you've ruined a great shoe. Make Ghosts Great Again!

I found that these made my feet hurt. I have an older version of the ghosts that I love but these disappointed.

What happened to ghost?? This isn't what I'm used to. I've been a fan of these shoes for a long long time. Too wide and so I have to tie them so my foot doesn't slip around. Which has now created a crease in the toe. So annoying. I'm going to go back to wearing my old pair. I just can't make these work. Sadly

I have been in Ghost for 10 years and these are the first time they don't fit the same. I have been a 9 wide and now they are big and giving me blisters on the side of my feet. I am so sad these have changed. I miss the 15's.

I have been running in Brooks Ghost consistently since Ghost 12 and it has remained my go to road running shoe. I typically run between 25 to 65 miles per month. Ghost 16 is the first time I've had issues. I gave this a full test, running over 60 miles in the last month or so. First issue was in the first 15 miles of running. I got two huge blisters on the outside of my big toes. No big deal, perhaps it was just friction or sock choice, but this not typical for me with Brooks Ghost. As I have broken the 16s over the past 6 weeks, I still feel the toe box is much smaller or narrower than past versions. It won't mold or stretch to my foot like past versions. My toes tend to squish up in the box and do not have as much room to spread out, especially on longer runs when my feet start to fatigue. The overall ride and cushioning is nice and I enjoy the laces, but the toe box is a major fail for me. I am already looking to replace these for something else.

Sizing must run totally smaller than listed. I ordered a 9 1/2 wide. I bet it's an 8 reg. Really tight and uncomfortable.

Many years ago I bought a pair of the Ghost 15. I loved them so much I bought a second pair. Then a third pair. When those wore out, I found that the ghost 15 were discountinued. So I bought the Ghost 16 excited for similar results. I honestly got to say.... the new in-soles of the Ghost 16...kinda suck... they are hard and do not feel good. Im so disapointed. Ended up sending them back and buying Nike...Very much miss the 15.

Not enough padding. I liked the Ghost 14 & I had 3 pairs of Ghost 15. I wish I would have bought more 15's had I known you were changing a good shoe. I heard the 17's are worse than the 16's. I'll probably switch to a different brand of shoes.

This is my 2nd pair of Ghost 16. I loved the 15 but thats a thing of the past whish they would bring it back. Anyways I loved my shoes but the right toe area was starting to get a hole in it and frayed so they sent me another exact pair but now the right shoe feels small and tight around the toes. The exact same old pair I never had this issue. I wish I had now picked a different shoe. Now Im stuck with shoes that dont fit?

I was disappointed with this pair. Got them for work and my feet were hurting so stopped wearing them. My first pair of Brooks were Ghost 15, which were great but the Ghost 16 won't work for me to work in because of feet pain.

I have always had Brooks running shoes. These have rubbed blisters on my toes.

Sad to say that I don't like the Ghost 16 as much as I liked previous versions. I don't think I will buy them again as they are not as comfortable and I also think they look wider.

Unfortunately I don't like the ghost 16. They are not as comfortable as the GTS brand. The ghost 16 fits very snugged and they are wide. I don't even have to tie them up.

Not sure what is up lately with Brooks's toe boxes but it is smaller/narrower than past iterations of this show (which I loved). Now, only 2 weeks in, my big toe is rubbing against the front/side, even though I went a full size up from my regular size. Frustrating.

I've been wearing Brooks sneakers for 20 years now, love them. I'd get them from a small running shop in Westchester, NY. I moved to California 3 years ago and could not find them anywhere. I went online and ordered these. I noticed the top of the 'tongue' of the show is not an arc anymore, but cut at the sides . This has been irritating the top of my feet when I walk at the gym. I've worn them about 8 times and they still hurt. I'm quite disappointed as I always had a great fit with this brand.

Tight across toes. Is gotten B in adrenaline. And ball of hot hurt. Gave to Goodwill

16 ghost disappointing. Wide width still too tight. Previous ghost 12, ( the best)14,15 fit a little better. The colors are limited in wide width.I will be changing brands

Shoes lacked arch support, not much cushion in the soles at all. Felt stiff. Ran in them for a month with no improvement in comfort. Only shoes I've ever sent back. However, i have LOVED my Ghost 15's.

I had to return it as, even though I ordered the same width as my Ghost 15, the tie area was too narrow. I pre-ordered the 17, abd that is a better fit. Will be jerking the 17. Great customer service!
